Over the last fifteen years, my husband and I have engaged Cheryl for a variety of design projects. These have included a North Carolina mountain home kitchen and bath remodel plus window treatments, carpeting and furnishing selections in 2001, a Florida home pool and deck renovation in 2013 and an update and complete furnishing for a recently purchased Florida beach condo in 2016. In all cases, she has a keen eye for color, fabric and style that turn eyesores into soothing, stylish creations. We rely on her expertise to assist in our design projects and appreciate her guidance and engaging personality. We highly recommend her at every opportunity!

Cheryl is an amazing designer. She has great taste but is not pushy. She is wonderful to work with and has great subcontractors as well. I highly recommend her.

Consulting on plans for a home renovation and then interior design services to include selecting new furniture, refurbishing old furniture, lighting, window treatments, bedding, flooring, cabinets, countertops, interior and exterior paint colors. We had very high expectations based on speaking with other clients, but Cheryl and her team greatly exceeded even those expectations in terms of professionalism, knowledge, creativity, responsiveness, and quickly coming to understanding our style, desires, budget range.. In addition, her whole team was a joy to work with. They were willing to hold our hands every step along the way or give us guidance to go off on our own and check in for help in final decisions. Cheryl Smith & Associates were recommended to me by our builder. Our project was a major renovation enclosing decks, adding decks, moving interior rooms and almost a major rebuild. We asked Cheryl to help us furnish the newly renovated first floor. Since this is a summer home and the building times were not on schedule, Cheryl was very flexible and easy to work with. She was also very good about incorporating existing furniture and using items from our main residence. Even though we are still working on the project,the major part has been completed. Furniture arrived in a very timely order and some custom items just take longer but there was a good give and take feeling on everyone's part. A custom home builder, I teamed up with Cheryl to assist me with a new project that my company is building in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove- Cove Park Cottages. I had in mind a transitional approach to the interiors and Cheryl was fantastic in putting together just the right look for our model and spec home. Subsequently she has worked with our clients to assist them with personalizing the homes we are contracted to build for them. I find working with Cheryl as our designer easy and efficient. She is very creative and keeps coming up with new looks to make sure our homes are fresh and up to date. I highly recommend Cheryl and her team!!

Neal Prince Studio designed a home in the Cliff Valley Community for which Cheryl Smith Associates served as the Interior Designer. They were energetic, creative, well organized and were attentive to both budget and schedule. Their decision making process complimented the architectural design goals throughout the home. It was a pleasure to work with Cheryl and her staff. We hope to do so again!

We originally went to Cheryl Smith for one small project when we were supposed to be building a new home. But when construction plans fell through, we realized that we needed a lot more help than we ever imagined for the home we bought to remodel. Cheryl has been so much help! She has so much experience and knows so many tricks to update our home with simple changes. She takes our "likes" and "possibilities" and helps us turn them into "realities." We really value her assistance in making decisions. We've made a few mistakes by not consulting with her first, and are learning that sometimes we need to "imagine" a little slower to keep up with "implementation." Having Cheryl available to help us keeps this all in perspective as we continue in our goal to not have someone walk into the house and say, "WHAT were they thinking??? They really should have consulted with an interior designer!" We trust Cheryl to help us reach that goal.

I met Cheryl Smith while building a lake home in the Cliffs of Keowee Vineyards (in S.C.) more than ten years ago. It was such a wonderful experience that when it was time to remodel my Alpharetta, GA home, I had to have Cheryl Smith. When my husband wanted to move close to his office in Atlanta and we built again, I had to have Cheryl Our builder had never worked with anyone like Cheryl and he loved the process with her also. Then came a remodel and addition to the lake house, once again I could not have done it without Cheryl. She and her staff are so amazing. If there were a hundred stars, I would rate her that high. Cheryl has kept me ahead of deadline on everything we have done together. No matter what i want done, Cheryl can find a way to make it happen and every project I have done with her has turned out to be stunning.
