As a professional architectural photographer I truly look forward to producing outstanding images of beautiful designs by amazing designers. Chris is such a designer. Photo shoots of a completed project are a huge challenge and part of that process is working closely with the designer to bring their creation to life via a camera. Chris was so easy to work with and directed me in the areas of the space that were to be captured but never over directed. He gives you the freedom to produce the images that will be potentially award winning to the design. This close relationship between designer and photographer during the shoot is key to a smooth and efficient process that produces great images.

We hired Chris to help decorate our new home, and he went above and beyond our expectations! Both he and Heather are easy to work with, have great, unique ideas, and they make the process of selecting really fun! They were able to work with our budget, which was important since we had the whole house to decorate! We are very happy with the results, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing an interior designer.

Chris brought my master bedroom to pure luxury. The master bedroom is contemporary and an oasis for our family. He is a wonderful designer with amazing ideas and patience. We started to re-decorate the living room and I'm even happier with his ideas.

My wife and I are very technical people, focused on results and facts. When we moved to Phoenix, we sought out the finest interior designer available, and after searching through online portfolios, as well as reviews and recommendations, Chris was clearly the best, with experience in furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, kitchens, bathrooms - you name it. I still consider us extremely lucky to have been able to enlist his talents. The house we purchased was very dated - very 90's, and Chris's ongoing work with us has not only turned our house into a home, but every single person who has ever stepped foot inside it has commented on his work. That is not an exaggeration. Chris is as personable as he is professional, and working with him is an absolute pleasure. From our very first meeting I was impressed with his attention to our desires. With other designers I have worked with, they try to impose their style upon the space. With Chris, it has always been about paying attention to what we're trying to achieve, and making it better - bringing the best available materials and options to us, and letting us direct the project. He guided us through the process of redoing our entire first floor, including painting all of the walls, remodeling the fireplace, replacing fans, developing a plan for lighting (which we have yet to implement, but will), new furniture options, and new window coverings. His suggestions for small modifications in our kitchen allowed us to keep and reuse our current cabinets, saving us thousands of dollars, and we are continuing to work with him on furniture recommendations, rugs, and transitioning to the upstairs. Even in this intermediate state, the product of his efforts is amazing, and words can't do it justice. Simply put, if you are looking for an interior designer who will pay attention to your wants and needs, give you the best options, offer you the greatest value without compromising quality, and deliver a pleasurable experience, hire Chris without hesitation.

Chris and I have been working together to furnish and redecorate a very large home that we purchased in the Phoenix area two years ago. Working with Chris has been a pleasure and I feel that my home is a true collaboration of my esthetic and his expertise. We have used a modern approach in a Southwest home and the results are amazing. Our friends are in awe when they see our new home. Each room is unique and beautiful. The scope of the work included some minor renovations, painting the house from top to bottom, new light fixtures, outfitting the whole house with furniture (inside and out), paintings, rugs, curtains, blinds, mirrors and the small things that make a house a home. Chris came up with some unique wallpaper applications that look amazing. He designed a custom sofa in my games room that is awesome and functional. I have not seen a theatre room on Houzz as beautiful as ours. Our home has the WOW factor while remaining comfortable and functional. Chris is professional and transparent. He is patient and easy to communicate with, always available. We live in Canada so a lot of work was done while we were away. Chris kept us informed and we trusted him completely to go into our home and get things done. If there are any glitches he takes care of them right away and without question. Love the way this person configure area, style and colors. The designs are made not only to loog good, but to feel good.

I am a residential re-developer (home flipper) in the Scottsdale area. I have completed and sold just under a dozen custom remodels ranging from 500k-1MM. Knowing the demand changes in the real estate market I hired Chris to design a new template. Every investor is building an identical product and I wanted something bold and different that would appeal to the masses; while keeping costs down. He exceeded my expectations! The home is raved about by every buyer who walks through and is featured in a local newspaper. We are also under contract well above surrounding comparables, days after completion. His team is on point with every detail. I threw a lot of work at the Jovanelly team and they picked up the pieces on the fly. He showed me where to save money while making the end product look high-end and custom. His styles are adventurous but chic. if you are looking for someone to redesign your home or help you sell one I would look no further. Chris is enterprising. Never mind if you don't understand his style, because everyone else does!

Chris designed our great room and did a fantastic job. My wife and I live in a traditional home from an architectural standpoint, but love a more modern aesthetic. Chris was able to marry contemporary style with some of my grandmother's antique pieces my wife refuses to part with and the result was a wonderfully eclectic mix. His unique design sense really brings our home together and we're constantly getting compliments on the room whenever we entertain. I would highly recommend him for anyone who wants a beautiful space that is truly distinct.

Chris was very vague about what he would do, but assured me that he would handle everything and his payment would be generated from the purchase of our items. We were too trusting and signed a contract for his work. He charges $150 and hour for himself and $60 for his assistant, so be prepared to pay $220 per hour for the two of them to measure your house, go to a flooring store even though flooring may be the last item on your list of things you need. He will shop for an hour in a store to let you know that you need dark wood flooring for your home. I paid over $500 and I have a set of scribbled notes, a picture of the flooring I don't need now and I do not have the drapes or plans for the sitting area I requested he work on. My advice is to not pay hourly to anyone ever.
