Chris and his team did all the trim and specialty wood detail at our new home in the westend of Halifax. He was amazing and did exactly what we wanted, plus more. We met with him on a Sunday afternoon and showed him a picture of the interior of a home we liked, that had a fireplace with mantle and TV above, plus floating shelves and drawers on each side. The first mantle was much too large and after discussing with our GC, a new, smaller mantle was installed that was perfect. He also used his judgement to change from 2 drawers on each side of the fireplace to three drawers on each side, so that the drawers would not be too heavy and would be less likely to sag or fail. He was back after we moved in to address some small deficiencies and all were done perfectly, promptly and with a smile. I/we would highly recommend Chris and his team for all of your interior trim. I was referred to CJ’s Custom Trim after talking to a local builder. He had nothing but the highest praise for Chris Jollimore so I was looking forward to meeting him, especially after a number of disappointing experiences with self-professed trim installers I found online. Chris is one of the most straight forward, easy going and honest guys I have met. While walking through the house and providing options, he pointed out a number of shortcuts taken by the floor installer and suggested how to best address problem areas, giving me even more confidence. When Chis’ crew was installing the trim they were very particular and the work area was kept clean and organized. I could not be happier with the end result – best decision I made in years!
