I can, with no reservation, tell you working with Claudia on a mutual client's home in Indiana was one of the best experiences I've had with another designer. She literally made the project better, room by room, choice by choice, she brought her talent and made the project fantastic. Her sense of humor and talent made this more than a project for me. We had such a wonderful experience working with Claudia! We worked with her on a complete kitchen remodel in early 2019. From the first meeting, she was professional, organized, patient, and responsive. We had never undertaken a large project like this before and could not have done it without her guiding us through the process. She took the time to get to know us and our priorities and preferences, and it showed in the designs and recommendations she prepared for us. She kept everything on track, was available to troubleshoot any challenges that came up, was a constant presence during construction, and was focused on getting every little detail right. We have our dream kitchen now, and it was completed right on time and with minimal delay and disruption. My wife and I hired Claudia to help us with our complete kitchen remodel which included taking out a wall and opening up our living room and dining room to our kitchen. This was the first major project like this that my wife and I had endeavored to complete so we knew we needed someone who could help us every step of the way. Claudia was excellent. From our initial meeting where we began sketching concepts and planning a budget through the selection of our contractor and choosing between different finishes, Claudia helped complete our vision. The project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. We are continuing to enjoy our improved home. Claudia’s insight was invaluable and we will recommend her to our friends and family.

Claudia is an amazing designer and we have/will not work with anyone else in the future. We first worked with Claudia while living in Chicago. The kitchen she designed was featured in the Chicago Sun-Times. We couldn't be happier with the space. When we moved to Napa, CA, we reached out to Claudia to help design our bathrooms, kitchen, and living room (pictures attached). She was able to maximize the space of our home and give us everything we needed and wanted. No matter where we move, Claudia Martin will be our designer.

Claudia was perfect for us. She had a relaxed, low-pressure approach and really got a sense of our style. We never got the sense she was pushing ideas to build her own portfolio. She was also very respectful of our time and budget and always served as a great and honest sounding board for ideas, as well as solving design problems that our project entailed.

My husband and I sold our century old suburban home and all the antiques in it & moved to a condo downtown. Claudia promised we'd have a beautiful modern home to match our views & she delivered. We had already chosen our quartz countertop for our kitchen remodel and needed Claudia's help in choosing the color of our new kitchen cabinets, the style and color of the tile for the backsplash, wall paint colors and lighting ideas. It all came together beautifully and Claudia was a pleasure to work with.

Claudia designed and supervised a renovation of our recently purchased Condo. Her services included design, helping us choose materials (including flooring, cabinets, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, paint, appliances, furniture and rugs, even linens) and supervising construction. Claudia has a tremendous amount of experience and it showed right from the beginning. After we interviewed Claudia she sent us a proposal that included a range of potential costs for each room as well as a detailed description of the services she would provide and a cost breakdown for those services. Once we hired Claudia, she immediately began to work on our project and provided three very different floor plans as a beginning point. This was a big project and costs could have easily spiraled out of control. Claudia was very good at spending money where it counted and not spending as much when it wasn’t important. As an example, the kitchen sink is on an inside wall so we did not go with a high end faucet but the back splash tile which is on three walls is beautiful. The most expensive feature was the engineered white oak floor throughout the unit. It is very high quality and will last for years. Although it was expensive it was a good value. Claudia knows the difference between price and quality. Our project was finished on time and very close to budget. Claudia worked hard to keep me on budget. When we shopped for plumbing fixtures she warned me to stay away from brands that were beyond my budget. I wanted Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. She made sure that I understood that was not in her original budget. If she proposed something I didn’t like she was never offended nor did she try to justify her position, she just went back to the drawing board. This was always Claudia executing our vision for our Condo, not Claudia executing her vision for our Condo Claudia spent a lot of time quizzing us about what we wanted and made sure that we got everything that was important. As an example, I wanted a full size mirror in the bedroom area and she moved a doorway so that I could have that mirror. I wanted lots of light and I have LOTs of light. At our request, Claudia recommended the contractor that we hired. He was just as good as Claudia. She told us that she had worked with G3 Interiors for a long time. We found out why. The quality of his work was exceptional, as was his work ethic. He understood from the beginning that it was important to have a good relationship with the building management and made sure that happened. We had to move out of the Condo during the renovation so at Claudia and Gary’s recommendation the project did not start until all materials were available. They started when they originally projected and we were able to move back in a week ahead of time. It seemed to me that everything went very smoothly, although I found out later that there were a few issues, which Claudia handled in her usual professional manner. We love our Condo and couldn’t be happier with the services that Claudia provided.

Claudia was referred to us by a friend for a master bath/bedroom renovation. The project was significant and challenging, involving moving walls and expanding space in a pre-war co-op building, moving plumbing in concrete floors, and attempting to achieve a look consistent with the architecture of the old space but still functional and interesting with a modern twist. Claudia nailed it. She was delightful to work with, with a deep knowledge of sources and materials and a great eye. She quickly understood our design aesthetic and advised on where to save and splurge for maximum impact. Her contractor Gary was top-notch, and all of their subs were professional and respectful. The scope of our project did expand as it went (due to our own choices, as is often the case in these things), so the budget expanded accordingly, but Claudia's original budget was in line with that portion of the work and she was great about communicating budget changes in real time. We could not be happier with the finished project, and recommend Claudia enthusiastically.

I had the opportunity to work with Claudia on a challenging addition and renovation project in an historically landmarked area in the Ukrainian village neighborhood of Chicago. The home’s historical facade was juxtaposed with contemporary features implemented for the renovated and added spaces. Claudia’s skill in orchestrating material selections established a harmonious balance of both clean lines and warmth. The interiors feel open and flowing, while the intangibles of color, pattern, and texture, reflect on the home’s historical roots. This ability is evident in her rich body of work. I look forward to collaborating with Claudia in the near future.

We've worked with Claudia on two projects - remodeling our kitchen and then remodeling three bathrooms. (Both projects had other associated work as well). Claudia was a joy to work with! She had terrific ideas and insight that fit our budget and our lifestyle. She was also good about listening to what we wanted (or thought we wanted) on each project and incorporating the ideas that made sense into the final plan. Throughout the work, she was available to answer our questions and seemed to coordinate well with the folks doing the work. We'd definitely consider working with her again if we have another remodeling project.
