Hiring Christine as my interior designer turned out to be a decision I deeply regret. Despite providing detailed references and concepts, I was dismayed to receive a design that felt more like a copy-paste job of one of the concepts I provided, rather than a customized solution. Moreover, the payment arrangement was full payment upfront for both design and in-home services. This left me feeling trapped with her services, especially after i was disappointed with her initial designs. Throughout the process, there was a significant gap in understanding my vision. Although we eventually settled on a design, my primary request for ample storage and budget was blatantly disregarded. During the construction phase, service invoices and purchase orders were not being generated until the project's second day. This led to unnecessary delays, aggravated further by items not fitting due to Christine's incorrect measurements. Despite her vendors' willingness to accept returns, it added unnecessary stress and hassle to the already tumultuous project. Christine was notably absent from overseeing the construction progress, never once setting foot in my home. Attempts to reach her for assistance via phone calls were met with silence, Christine would only respond via text messages depending on the day. Fortunately, my contractor proved to be reliable and assisted in resolving many design issues. However, despite my repeated emphasis on the importance of adequate storage, I now find myself having to invest extra money in creating shelving for the vanity. To add insult to injury, Christine's services went several thousand dollars over budget. The lone saving grace was the timely delivery of items and her discount, which is the only reason I'm not rating her with zero stars. At the bare minimum she did not run away with my money. Overall, my experience with Christine's services has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise against entrusting her with your interior design needs. If you wish to take a change on her services, I recommend purchasing her designs separately, devoid of the in-home service, to mitigate potential disappointment and financial loss.

From the designing, to planning, to finishing the project, Christine at CMD was easy and delightful to work with. We came to Christine with a vague idea of what we wanted and pretty specific parameters of what we needed. She helped us take that vague idea and set of parameters and turned it into a beautiful and useful design. She gave us a very classic design with details she pulled from our already existing style. During the initial design she was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. That level of attention carried on through the planning and construction of the project. She was great about giving us updates and progress reports. The contractor and crew she used for the build were very professional and great at their craft. We couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Christine at CDM.

Christine‘s team was amazing! I loved working with all of them, and especially with Christine herself. She was able to understand my eclectic tastes ( no small feat), provide me options that I wouldn’t have otherwise thought of, and create two bathrooms that are now my favorite rooms in the house. Her style, design tastes, and professionalism set her apart from other designers that I have worked with in the past. She took control, ran the show, and left me without one ounce of worry. It was a first! I cannot recommend Christine and her team enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Christine was absolutely amazing during our new home construction/design process. After having conversations with us to get an understanding of what we were imagining our new home to "feel" like – she was able to do the unimaginable – she created spaces that both met our needs and surpassed our expectations. Her knowledge of products, pallets and finishes was endless and her attention to detail and ability to help us visualize the end product allowed us to stretch our comfort zones into a new home we absolutely love. Many of our "meetings" were remote due to the pandemic closures - however she was able to adapt seamlessly and and keep our project moving forward and on time. We recommend CMD Planning and Design to anyone going though this process and look forward to working with Christine on other projects in the near future!

Christine has changed the way I live. She has found a way to channel my creativity and love of beautiful interiors into a cohesive style that I had been sorely lacking! She stretches me to make bolder choices, which I of course end up loving. She ALWAYS listens and never forces an idea. She helps to pace progress and runs interference when suppliers mess up. She's considerate of budgets and works to stay within yours. As I sit here literally surrounded by painters transforming every wall of my downtown condo -- the last big step -- I marvel at what she's achieved. I'm almost not dreading this winter's lockdown. The only thing I don't love is this lovely collaboration is almost over -- for now.

Christine was amazing to work with. She listened to what I was looking for and conscious of my budget. I have received so many compliments on my home! Christine made sure that my house was not only beautiful, but also practical for my family. My husband and I have young children and a dog. I can't say enough good things about Christine! I will definitely use her for all future projects.
