My husband and I moved into a new home in May of 2021. We felt our original home was in need of some updating, before we were ready to put it on the market. We had a corner jacuzzi tub that no one would service. It was the “dinosaur” in our home that we wanted to replace, along with our shower, tile, and some other fixtures. We called several plumbers and met with a local plumbing supply company, but were unable to find a soaker tub to fit our space. After several months of calls, meetings and getting nowhere in our plan to do some renovations, my husband felt we needed the help of an interior designer. I agreed. After searching reviews of local interior designers, he called Lisza Coffey, from Coffey & Co. House of Interiors, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Although Lisza had many projects in the works, she was able to fit us in and we are so thankful she did! Our updated house went live the first week in September 2021. We had 7 offers and our home sold for $57,000 over our initial list price! We definitely believe that all of Lisza’s updates in our master bathroom, painting and new light fixtures, were why it sold so quickly and so well. The master bathroom looked awesome and the updated lights Lisza suggested, were great. Definitely a hit with people looking at the house! We previously had a golden oak hand railing leading up stairs and Lisza had it painted white. It really helped tie the house together! We are so happy and very pleased with Lisza’a updates! She took a really horrible situation and not only made it workable, but fabulous! Our only regrets are that we didn’t call Lisza sooner and that we won’t be able to use the new soaker tub or shower! We can’t thank Lisza enough, for taking on this project and helping us! She was just what we were looking for and needed! We already have plans to have Lisza help us design/decorate the interior of our new home! If you are interested in updating your home, call Lisza. She has her own crew and will lay the entire plan out before she starts, including costs. Everything she suggested for us, was in stock/available and allowed us to complete the project in a timely manner. I cannot thank Lisza, Elisabeth and the rest of the crew at Coffey & Co, for their guidance in designing our new home. We absolutely love it, and so much of that is because of the details and design features we may have missed, without Lisza’s patient guidance. Her experience with new construction was invaluable; so many decisions and details, and Lisza was always happy to help us reach the best decision for us. Lisza was also great about working with our builder and the various subcontractors. Again, so many details to building a house, none of which were a surprise to Lisza and crew. Very pleased with every step of the process. Everyone was so professional, all the time. Very easy to communicate wants and needs for the project. We had quite a few obstacles to work around both in the house and with the schedules, but the team was able to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. We all LOVE our house even more than before! Every square inch is fresh and new.

I was contemplating 2 different local design companies here in Lincoln, Nebraska. We had purchased a townhouse and needed a total tear out and rehab. I met with Lisza Coffey the first week of 2020. When she assured me that she and her company could start, create and complete the entire process I signed with Coffey and Company! When I say “entire process” I mean.. walls down.. windows out ..3 bathrooms.. kitchen.. all floors replaced.. everything. Everything. She listened and she and her staff listened some more. She listened to our desires and concerns.. our quirks and fears. It is exactly how we envisioned. Warm, comfortable, clean lines, beautiful whites on creams. She has a confidence that was needed when we were second guessing. Her personal design is a ahead of the game. She had a carpentry knowledge that was excellent as well as reassuring when time came to order materials etc. Lisza Coffey is doing exactly what her passion is. Design and create. We love every inch she has created around us.. that we now call home. She and her company excel! 5 stars!

"She gets me!" That is the most succinct characterization I can offer to explain why Lisza Coffey's professional opinion is essential to my well-being! Lofty? Perhaps! Real? Absolutely!! I first hired Lisza to help me with a redecorating project. She came to my house, looked around, and then asked me about things I liked and things that were important to me. Some of that conversation was about decorating, and some was not. I knew she was evaluating everything in sight, but not one time did she let me feel she was "judging" me or my house. Lisza used her relationship skills to help me envision context and color in a way I had not yet experienced. She absorbed my ideas and dreams and then applied her skills to transform my space. Lisza is brilliant and a consumate professional. She thinks carefully and speaks thoughtfully. However, she is absolutely phenomenal in her ability to make people feel as if they were the most important person she was working with---no matter who they are or the size of the project. I believe her completed projects reflect her clients wishes and dreams because she helps put all those pieces together that you have dreamed about. And she does it in color - your color! Lisza's design ideas for me are spot on because she first chose to know me and the things I care about. I'm willing to believe she does that with everyone.

After many years and lots of living, it was time to begin a spruce-up of our home. We began with our main floor powder room, a still-mauve and wedgewood blue environment with tan-ish fixtures. In the process, Coffey and Co. also linked and calmed the rooms of the main floor with a swath of paint, and a few shelving and furnishing adjustments. From what we’d heard of others’ experiences with Lisza and her crew, we anticipated talent (WOW), perception of our personal tastes and style (she’s a mind reader), respect of place (wvwey step of the way), and commitments to work/time scheduling (remarkable), and cost plans(to the penny). Our powder room is now gorgeous, serene, and just a tad lush, just right. Coffey and Co. has now embarked on the transformation of our traditional dining room into our “Tunes Room.” And it’s starting to show its jazzy side:). We are completely pleased about it all.
