I knew working with Colleen would be a positive experience from the first phone call. She zoned in immediately to my taste and end result. Colleen is a very down to earth person and it was so easy to make choices with her help. I am so pleased with how it turned out.

My husband and I have hired Colleen McClure designs to assist us on a major renovation to our home which includes an expansion out over the deck. We have been working with Brittney Kavli-Olney and have found her to be a breath of fresh air. She has put forward a great floor plan and has assisted us in finding contractors for estimates. We love the color scheme and design elements that she has presented and are looking forward to the finished product.

Every single client was very happy with all the services, plannings, designs and mainly with Colleen "human touch" and "no-only-my-way-ego" approach. When we first met Colleen we made it clear we were not interested in being hands-on, micro managing decision makers in our renovation. We wanted a designer who could listen to our key priorities, learn what we liked and then take it from there. Seriously hands off. Colleen met with us several times before the renovation to get a feel for what we wanted, walked through our house asking us what we liked and what we wanted to do in each space. She walked us through several different ideas, asked a lot of questions, got feedback on a few key components and then came up with a vision for our renovation. When she presented her design it was clear she had understood us and knew what we would like. We felt comfortable enough with what Colleen presented to provide her lots of freedom to see her vision through to completion. We let her run with it and although she regularly checked in via email, on the phone and in-person meetings, we moved out for 3 months and gave over our house! We felt so comfortable that we did not even ‘peek’ in along the way so a big reveal was awaiting us. Colleen nailed it! Her details were so precise, she moved our furniture back in and selected some key new pieces that staged the end results impressively. We barely knew it was still our home, yet it felt just like us. The final result was more than we could have imagined, when she called us in for the big reveal we spent over an hour in the new open concept kitchen - living room area, huge kitchen island, bright new lighting before even remembering there were other rooms that had been redone. It took us that long to enjoy and take in all that had changed, we were thrilled. Colleen was professional, conscientious and PERFECT for people who just want someone to take a few key points and completely remodel your home! Colleen helped us with kitchen renos. She listened to what we needed, our lifestyle, our wants and then we discussed what we needed and we were, with her help, able to discern the wants from the needs. Without Colleen we would have been swimming, at times we were, but she kept us calm and collected. made us look at things from all angles, and kept us on our budget. Kitchen renos are stressful, and during all this her sense of the vision for us stayed constant and realistic.
