Concept Design, Inc. specializes in both residential and commercial projects. We are a full service design firm with a concentration on creating a unique interior environment tailored to suit your specific needs. Our mission is to be an asset to our clients by providing them with a large array of resources at our finger tips from many years in the design and furniture industry. Tamra is an Orange County based interior designer recognized for her fresh thoughtful aesthetic. The interior spaces she is entrusted with serve as her canvas to celebrate the power of good design. Her boutique firm prides itself in continuing to provide the impeccable service her reputation is built around. Since establishing Concept Design, Inc. in 1999, Tamra has collaborated with discriminating clientele in such places as San Clemente, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Mammoth Mountain, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Maui and Lebanon to create luxurious interiors to the delight of her clients. Her clients are assured of the highest quality home furnishings, textiles, art and accessories our local tradesman and/or the world have to offer. Tamra works from a research-based perspective, in combination with a design education and work experience in several interior design firms. She received a degree in Interior Design from Interior Designers Institute after attending California State University, Long Beach.

We bought a new construction home in San Clemente CA this past year. We are new to the area so Tamra was referred to us by our realtor. She and her team have been a pleasure to work with. They are highly skilled, very creative and take great pride in their work. In the beginning Tamra sat down with us to clearly understand what style we were looking for in the house as well as our budget. She took our input and brought it to life with her recommendations. She is awsome and her passion comes out in her work whether it be a small accent piece or an entire room. We highly recommend her.

If you ever want to see their work in person, I am happy to host you for a tour. The before and after of the space is night and day, we have gone from no star to 5 star! We recently purchased a very modern, ocean view home. Phase one of our home project was to select flooring and colors. Tamra is a pleasure to deal with. She is organized, knowledgeable, has a great eye for color, always punctual, a good communicator, responsive via text / phone / email, helpful with ideas, practical, and open and honest. She speaks her mind. Tamra is also a good listener. She is very interested in tailoring decisions to match our likes and dislikes based on conversation and a client questionnaire. We are looking forward working with Tamra on phase two.

I originally contacted Concept Design to help me with the furnishing of a vacation rental. I was very impressed with how Tamra was able to quickly ascertain my needs and style preferences, and then put together a set of plans that made sense given my goals. Monthly later I actually decided to move in instead of renting the property :-). Tamra was super flexible with her recommendations given my shifting plans. She is clearly a seasoned professional who takes her design very seriously, going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with her plans & suggestions! She has been an outstanding ongoing resource for me for many of the typical relocation questions since my arrival to San Clemente in 2012. I wholeheartedly recommend Concept Design!

Working with Tamra has been wonderful. She is very professional and always punctual when we meet. I like that Tamra always has our concerns in mind and incorporates our taste for design while putting the whole picture together with her own ideas as well. February 1, 2015 It was a pleasure working with Tamra Mundia the last few years. She is a talented interior designer of great character. She was consistently punctual and prepared for each appointment. She is honest and sincerely cares about her clients. We hired Tamra to design and furnish our home remodel. She was responsible for kitchen design, space planning, window coverings, tile selections, paint colors, furniture and accessories for our 3,900 square foot house. She was very thorough from the beginning to the end of the project. Her presentations offered various options keeping within our tastes and our budget, while creating the overall design style. Tamra was patiently receptive to any changes or suggestions we had along the way, including utilizing any pre-existing furniture and accessories. She understood our lifestyle and our family needs as she created a beautiful home environment. Although the job is now complete, Tamra continues to be receptive to any calls or questions that arise. Thanks to Tamra’s expertise and her character, the end result of our project is a comfortable, functional and beautiful home. We would be the last people I would have expected to hire a professional designer but am so glad we did. Tamra is so easy to work with and has great ideas. We decided to hire her on a complete project basis and not only did she keep us from making mistakes and wasting time, I think she also saved is money. She listens to what you want and goes not try snd force anything on you they joy font want or need. I couldn't recommend Her more highly.
