My husband and I are senior citizens, but wanted to be able to age in place in our existing two-story home. We contracted with Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio to design the floor plans and oversee the building of a first-floor master suite addition to our home. In the initial meetings at our home, Jessica Meibers and Pam Holschuh really listened to us about our needs, wants, and preferences. Their floor plan and design took into consideration our physical needs, as well as color and material preferences, budgetary concerns, and time frame. Jessica oversaw the project making sure our contractor stayed within the agreed-upon guidelines. Her interactions with us and the contractor were always very professional as well as friendly and kind. My husband and I are more than pleased with our master suite addition and with our experience with Jessica Meibers and Copper Leaf Design Studio, as well as our contractor. I can honestly say that the results are even better than I dreamed! Project dates: Copper Leaf consultation and design - summer 2015; Building - (based on contractor availability) Jan. - June 2016. Project costs: Copper Leaf for consultation, design, and overseeing project - approximately $2,100; Contractor - approximately $50,000 for master suite

Pam created a kitchen design that was both beautiful and functional. She communicated with us on all the details, from the kitchen sink to the back splash to the window treatments to the countertop to the lighting and the paint colors, every single detail. There are so many choices, but she helped narrow things down. We were extremely happy with her work and have received numerous compliments on our kitchen. Pam is very professional and works at getting to know you. She has excellent taste. Pam listens to what you want and then works that in with her knowledgeable background in design.

I contacted Copper Leaf for an estimate on blinds. Pam was excellent in helping me pick out the perfect blinds for my home and budget. The selection was a bit overwhelming at first but Pam knew exactly what fabrics and colors would best fit my decor. The blinds made a huge difference in the appearance of my home. I love them and I will absolutely go back to Pam and her wonderful staff at Copper Leaf for any future decorating needs.

For most people homebuilding can be a tiresome process, however Pam was able to lead, delegate and guide us through the building and design process. Her hardwork, diligence and attention to detail made the entire process feel easy and stress free. Pam was a necessary asset to allow us to really enjoy and relish in the creative process that reflects our personal style. We were able to trust Pam to not only guide us but, keep the builder up to speed, specs and budget, making it a breeze in the process. The end result was a home that was well beyond all of our expectations.

Love that they charge an hourly rate for consultations. Our first meeting was to define the scope of the project. which was to help in the selection of paint colors and design and furniture ideas for our great room. Pam was prompt with her recommendations and very good at incorporating our preferences into her suggestions. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She presented us with two or three options which really helped us identify our "style". She was also very patient with us and we took a lot of time to make decisions. We replaced the carpeting in this room with wood flooring and the floor design that Pam recommended turned out to be completely awesome. I would highly recommend Copper Leaf design services to anyone no matter how big or small the project. Pam also recommended built in bookshelves which my husband ended up making and installing himself. Our next step is to make a final decision on the furniture for this room.
