I just finished working with Darci on one of her projects and can't speak enough for her professionalism. Working in sales in the design world it can be a rare find to work with a designer who has a great design aesthetic as well as the business mind and organizational skills to manage her projects with such detail. I have had the pleasure of knowing Darci for over 5 years now. She has helped me with many design dilemmas and beyond and is a truly great addition to the interior design community. She sets herself apart from many other designers with a blend of honesty, humor and attention to detail in addtion to having an exceptional eye for design. I would recomend her in a heart beat, having complete confidence in delivering a truly fantastic design epxerience.

Darci has a wonderful design aesthetic and I was eager for her to work on my project with the potential for a second. Unfortunately, unless you are willing to to pay 100% upfront which is not disclosed at the onset, she will not work with you. That said, we were willing to take a chance and paid for a 2 hour consult. Due to COVID, we felt it best not to have a site visit, so she supplied basic design drawings for one area of the project based on our verified measurements and videos. She was unsure if the PDF I received was scaled properly & had to get clarification from her assistant. Even after correction, it still proved inaccurate once we tried the layout on our floor. Based on that, our unease with the payment policy and with so many COVID-related variables (inability to see furniture in person, potential delivery/supply chain issues) for which we felt some consideration should be given, we did not proceed with the project. Disheartening and disappointed.

Darci is the ultimate professional. She is very talented, terrific to work with and very flexible. She is timely, follows up with every detail and easy to contact. If you declare your budget she will adhere to the exact number. Her staff is also very good. I would highly recommend her.

Working with Darci Hether was an absolute pleasure! She helped my husband and I blend our tastes to create a perfect new space after we recently got married. She introduced us to new things and listened to what we wanted, ultimately recommending things that worked with our space and our life. I've hired Darci twice, first redoing a bathroom in a Tribeca apartment and most recently on a gut renovation of my new apartment. Both times I have been very happy with Darci's work, from the design work to helping select other professionals to her overall organizational skills. Darci led the design of the entire apartment, from architectural layout to furniture selection. She worked with my contractor and minimized the amount of angst I felt during the renovation. The outcome is beautiful: a brand new modern kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, and an apartment that meshes modern with some of the existing details from a 100+ year old building. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Darci again and I've recommended her to several friends.

Darci listened to our needs and worked within our budget to provide us an extremely eclectic look. Ultimately, she saved us money, time and headaches. Our apartment ended up in a spread in the New York Times!

We hired Darci Hether NY when we purchased land to build a beach home in Watersound, Florida along the Gulf coast communities of “30A.” Darci was involved in every phase of the project — from providing input relating to architectural design through interior fixtures and finishes, construction, room layout, custom furniture and fabric and art selections.The entire process lasted 21 months and we are thrilled with the outcome. Darci listened carefully for our vision for our coastal “dream home,” and she hit a home run in achieving the look, feel and color pallete we desired. She brought fresh ideas and beautiful, unexpected touches throughout our home. She has an amazing design vision and strong sense of color and space. Darci is a professional in every sense of the word — she is organized, a great communicator, a fine collaborator with the other professionals (our builder who has completed more than 50 homes stated she is the best designer with whom he has partnered). She has an excellent design assistant, and they were incredibly precise and responsive. Darci also caught potential issues during both the design and building phase that saved us money or future frustration. She kept our project within our desired budget. It should be noted that Darci is also just really fun to work with. She made a process that can become tedious and overwhelming (designing a 5-bedroom home from the ground up) into a fantastic experience. If I could rate her “ten stars,” I would do so!

Lewis Construction NYC, Inc began working with Darci Heather in 2016 on a Tribeca loft. We were introduced to her by our mutual client and are very pleased with her attention to detail, willingness to listen to feedback from our experience, and availability to handle any unknowns that would arise. We were drawn to Darci by her design aesthetic - sophisticated and elegant. but also calming and comfortable. She listened to what we had to say and gave us options that fit our descriptions to a tee. She stayed within budget and work was always timely. Darci is fun, easy going and a pleasure to work with.

Darci was an absolute delight to work with and most importantly, she listened to what we wanted. That being said, she steered us in the right direction when she thought we were going off course. Her resources are fantastic. Much of what we did was custom built. She has terrific furniture makers and workman. We would highly recommend her and happy to answer any questions.
