Incredibly grateful for Darcy how helped me sort through hundreds of whites to pick the perfect color for the exterior of my home. She saved me hours and hours of time and spared me from the stress of painting the entire exterior the wrong color. Walking into Benjamin Moore blind is so overwhelming. And every time I went “off script” and grabbed a tester we didn’t discuss, I was so disappointed. She knows this brand of paint well and will make informed recommendations. Her instinct for classic and timeless color combinations is strong which is precisely what I needed for my 100 year old colonial home.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Darcy on several different projects. I’ve always been impressed with her sense of taste, sophisticated use of color and texture. Her care for her client’s needs and sensibilities is paramount to her and shows in everything she does from her first consultation to the final stage of photographing a project. If I had to describe Darcy in three words I would choose intelligent, charming, and sophisticated.

We had lived in our tired kitchen for 10 years. When we finally committed to the remodel we were so happy to have Darcy guide us. We have a beautiful kitchen with so much more functionality. The design elements are so much more sophisticated than we would have envisioned. Darcy helped us retain many of the existing materials to stay within budget, while creating a new and refreshed style. Our kitchen is an ideal entertaining space.

Darcy is an incredibly talented designer who takes the time to truly understand her clients specific needs. She is such a joy to work with as her passion for her work and projects is evident is everything she does. We’ve been working with Darcy for years on multiple projects ranging from redesigning rooms to custom window treatments and pillows, to furniture and accessory shopping, entry room design, and bathroom remodeling to room layouts and interior and exterior painting. Every time we engage Darcy with a project we know we will receive a thorough proposal, budget and timeline, and we know that each project will be completed on time and within budget. One of the first projects we did with Darcy was redesigning our daughter’s bedroom and playroom. Not only did Darcy take the time to meet with me, but she spent time with our nine year old daughter to understand what she wanted too. Following the meetings, Darcy put together a presentation board showcasing all of our options. This enabled our daughter to visualize her new space and to easily choose what she liked. While our daughter was away at camp for two weeks, Darcy sprung into action and redesigned the whole room with ombré paint, custom window treatments, a swinging chair, new bedding and throw pillows, and a new rug, which resulted in a much nicer, cleaner, and usable space. Our daughter was thrilled to see her new room, she absolutely loves it! Not only is a Darcy an extraordinarily talented designer with a great eye, she is also one of the happiest people I know. Her positive attitude shows through in everything she does. She’s always very patient with us as we can be indecisive, but is always there to spring into action when we’re ready to pull the trigger. Darcy is incredibly efficient and is the best person to call when you’ve been procrastinating on a project, or just want to get one completed timely and perfectly.

I have worked with several interior designers over the years and Darcy is by far the best. She has an incredible eye for each space and gave us some incredible ideas and furniture that was actually in our budget. I would highly recommend using Darcy. She really is one of the best.

We recently completed the renovation of our San Francisco home. Darcy led the design and execution; and she was amazing to work with. Darcy not only has a great sense of style, but simplified all of our options and took care of ordering all the fixtures, flooring, cabinets etc.., and managing our contractor. She was available 24 /7 to ensure that the renovation looked great and came in within our budget ad timeline.

Darcy recently redesigned the office for a Head of School at a local independent school. From the paint, to the flooring, to the furniture and decor -- she was attentive to every last detail. The office was literally transformed. Her creativity in her design advice and ability to make notable changes within a tight budget were exceptional. Darcy was always aware and respectful of our individual preferences, truly understanding our needs and aesthetic desires. In addition, she was timely, came in on budget, and communicated extremely well through the process.

Darcy had done design work for a friend and I loved her style. I asked her to design our living room around a large colorful painting which dominated the room. As a graphic designer, I'm pretty particular but Darcy hit it perfectly with the fabrics and furniture choices she selected. We also had her choose fabrics and chairs for our dining room since we loved what she came up with in the living room. I receive compliments all the time and recommend her to everyone. She's super friendly and really takes the time to understand exactly what you're looking for.

I love working with Darcy! Not only is she easy to work with, she is pleasant, innovative and thorough. She has been hiring me for about 5 years to create window treatments per her specifications and over the years, I have seen this designer evolve from designing furniture pieces to entire remodels (not to mention, she also creates the most elegant flower arrangements you have ever seen!). Her innate natural talent reveals itself time after time as she has a wonderful knack for taking traditional ideas and adding just the right amount of twist to create a lively yet cohesive result. Besides having great taste and an eye for detail, she know how to put it all together to create a space that is inspiring and comfortable. Darcy is very easy to work with, her effectiveness is unparalleled because she knows how to utilizes a multitude of resources and is, therefore, able to manage a project efficiently. I am always excited when she ropes me in for a project because I know that it's going to be fun, efficient, and beautiful.

We hired Darcy to fully remodel 2 bathrooms (1 full, 1 half), replace interior and exterior light fixtures, upgrade furniture in our living room, as well as a moderate list of other repairs/fixes/reupholsters. In addition to being a very talented designer who was able to "nail" our personal style, Darcy made the project a pleasant experience by providing excellent communication and project management from start to finish. Additionally, Darcy used her strong intuition to help us get the most out of our spaces including rearranging existing furniture and much-needed organizational assistance in the kitchen. Darcy has an eagle-eye for detail and is a perfectionist when it comes to the final product. Our project was on time and on budget and we are thrilled with the result! We are already contemplating additional projects for next year.

Darcy has helped me with multiple interior design projects since 2011 to the present, including a guest suite remodel (bedroom, bathroom, closets), furnishing our outdoor living space, redecorating a master bedroom, and re-tiling a master bath. She was able to quickly assess my tastes and has sourced materials, fabrics, furniture (custom & not), lighting, rug and decorative accessories that I love. She provided the right amount of choice and was helpful in making those choices. She did a good job of hiring and working with tradespeople. She has designed these projects keeping in mind the existing scheme of the entire house. She is very practical when it comes to budgets, often offering me choices of where to splurge vs. where to keep the investment lower. I plan to continue working with Darcy and highly recommend her.

Darcy is the consummate interior design professional, with creative ideas to complete any design project. She can transform rooms riddled with challenges into lovely, magical spaces. Her easy-going manner makes her a delight to work with.
