Denise helped us design our new kitchen. I had a lot of photos of kitchens and the vibe that we were looking for. It wasn’t cookie cutter. We wanted different lower cabinet colors than the uppers. We wanted something unique for our flooring and our backsplash, but weren't sure what that would be. She listen, took in all our ideas and came back with the perfect design. Terrazzo flooring, beautiful, brass-studded backsplash, walnut lowers and beige upper cabinets with gorgeous gold pulls. A black accent pantry and black refrigerator were the perfect contrast. It tuned out so beautifully. We loved working with Denise. She was full of ideas, but always sure to incorporate (and elevate) ours into the mix. I would never hesitate to recommend Denise to anyone for any interior design project She is a lovely person and an amazing designer.

Denise was the best! Amazing to work with her, and her assistant, Maureen. Both were highly professional. I would highly recommend Denise to anyone who needs help with a remodel or home build. Denise listened to what my husband and I wanted and actually delivered exactly what we envisioned on budget, all through challenging covid issues. She has great resources for quality sub contractors who fit us in to make our project move along. I would definetly use Denise again if we ever decide to build another house! She helped make this one perfect!

Thank goodness we hired Denise at DMID, I am so glad we did. Denise was so easy to work with and made the project way more productive and way more fun. If we didn't have her expertise on board, it would have cost us way more and taken so so much longer. It would have also never come together so beautifully! We are so pleased. The smartest move we made in executing our problematic remodel was to select Denise Maloney as our designer. She provided creative options and solutions we would not have known possible. We hired denise as our lead designer in a house rebuild project. I have worked with her for aprox 18mos. we found her to be very attentive, creative, professional, knowlegeable with an excellent skill set. I’ve known Denise and admired her work for quite some time. This year I hired her to help me with a handrail for my San Francisco loft. I started the project with some initial ideas but, as Denise guided me through the endeavor, the design evolved and the final handrail is more stunning than I could have imagined. On top of that, the process of working with Denise was a joy. I’ve recommended Denise to my closest friends and will continue to do so.

After interviewing numerous interior designers my wife and I had a meeting with Denise, she was hired on the spot. She answered all financial related questions, was honest, and straightforward. Our ground up project was a challenge since we had never lived in a home. Denise went out of her scope of work on the interior/exterior of the home and yard. Because she is one time, plans ahead, always prepared for meetings with design boards, presents numerous ideas that aligned with what we were looking for, and is extremely organized the entire team of consultants had to step up their game. She pointed out other consultant’s mistakes in a very professional manner while not stepping on anyone’s ego which lead to a collaborative effort among all consultants. Because of Denise we have a one of a kind amazing home, this project would have never been completed without her and she was on budget!

Denise worked with us for over a year on a two-phased whole house remodel. She is talented, extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. She is flexible in providing a wide range of services needed including the floor plan, design features, furniture, art and color. She is a good listener and worked well with our contractor and architect. As a result, we ended up with a unique and beautiful home, for which we are forever grateful. This is the first time I have used a designer and was concerned about the cost, but now belief it was an extremely wise decision which saved us money by avoiding design mistakes. I was introduced to Denise by a designer I respect greatly. He and Denise had previously worked together. When I met Denise I already had an architect, landscape architect and contractor on board for a remodel of the lower level of my home and backyard. Her addition to the team was smooth and easy. She understood my style and taste quickly, yet she never offered ideas to just please me. She helped me with every aspect of interior design from selecting a color palette, laying out a furniture design, selecting the furniture, accessories and key elements of my mill work. Denise was always fun to work with, prompt and professional. Denise was also open to feedback and incorporated any feedback into her work product. I am not the easiest person to work with in that I have a very distinctive style and don't like to have too many decisions to make. Denise was always there to do as much or as little as I asked of her and knew when to involve me and when to run with something.

I was having a holiday party last December and the dining area in my house REALLY needed help. I mean it literally only had a dark brown table on dark brown wood floors. I know absolutely nothing about decorating at all so I contacted Denise Maloney Interior Design. She came over and and learned what I like/don't like, made suggestions, took photos/measurements etc. She was very professional and I just told her to go with it as I totally trusted her. A short time later she had everything ready for my house and totally made that room pop! Sometimes I look in there and still can't believe that it is my house!
