About Us

Interior Designer Denise Mitchell has been designing attractive, functional and esthetically pleasing interior spaces since 1992. Since coming to Campbell River, Denise has had the opportunity to design some of Campbell River's most distinguished interiors. From design and drafting services to space planning and finish consultation, no job is too big or too small. Serving the Comox Valley, Campbell River and the North Island, Denise offers a wide range of residential design services to meet the needs of all homeowners for new construction, renovation and design-build. Our clients become our friends, and when the project is complete, our goal at DMI is for our client to feel like the space is a reflection of themself and their own personal tastes...with some help and guidance from their designer.

Denise undertook the design of a major renovation of our home. She worked with us to create a clear vision of what we wanted to accomplish. She is fun, calm and very skilled at assisting clients-taking their ideas to incorporate in the design and taking their vision to a beautiful finished result. We met with Denise and went over some of our ideas. Within days she came back to us with a 3D version of what our house would look like, with structural changes, new kitchen concept, lighting, colour schemes etc. It was exactly what we wanted and then some. We were given a detailed budget and timeline for the project. I would meet with their team to pick out tiles, lighting, wood flooring, back splashes, cupboards, door fixtures etc. Often I didn't know what was in style and they were awesome in helping me with my choices. We ended up on time and within budget. This was our first major personal building project, a complete renovation of our house - interior and exterior. We are truly thrilled with the finished project. This was a great experience and would recommend Denise Mitchell Interiors 100%.
