Design Anthologie, Inc.

We regret hiring Design Anthologie, and we are not happy with the results. Sharon and her colleague Lisa Conway did not meet our expectations. We have had experiences with 2 different designers now. The first experience about 10 years ago was excellent and certainly provided that Wow factor. During the first experience, we felt like we underpaid for high quality items that we would not have been able to find ourselves, and the final product had the magazine quality result that we would never have been able to do on our own. Our second experience was with Sharon and Lisa, and the experience was the complete opposite of the first. Instead of being Wowed, we were very underwhelmed with the final result. We felt like we overpaid for lower quality items that you can find in any furniture chain store. Not even 3 months after we received everything, the couch cushions are already deformed, the couch squeaks, the fabric on the ottoman is frayed, the main rug produces so much lint that we have to vacuum every day, the dresser drawers don’t line up, etc. I can keep going, but you get my point. Almost every item purchased is not to our liking. We also feel that the designers could not listen to what we described as a vision and translate that into what we wanted. Again, I can provide many examples, but if you still want to work with this company after reading this far, then nothing I say will make a difference. We are so unhappy with our experience, and we wish we could turn back the clock and just do it ourselves. In fact, we are already considering replacing many of the items that we bought through them because they are such poor quality. Hiring Sharon and Lisa was a very expensive lesson that we learned.

We can’t thank Sharon enough. We built a custom home and Sharon helped us choose everything for the interior and exterior, there is no way we could have done this without her. She talked with us to determine our style and would bring in multiple selections for us to look over and choose. We wanted something different for a bathroom flooring option and we described what we were trying to accomplish and in our next meeting she had drawn out exactly we had envisioned. We highly recommend Sharon.

Sharon is an amazing interior designer with a keen eye for creating balanced and stunning home interiors. As a custom cabinet designer, I have worked with Sharon on many custom homes directly with our clients. What makes Sharon so great is she doesn't push on the clients to change them, but instead she listens to what they want, and then helps make what they want even better than they dreamed of. Her attention to detail is spot on! You will love working with Sharon and I recommend her highly!!!

Working with Sharon was a great experience. She listened and understood my vision and helped bring it to reality using her experience, contacts, and design sense. She helped me make decisions when I was unsure and was able to make sure everything 'fit' together for the whole project.

I highly recommend Sharon from my own personal experience. Sharon was instrumental in designing the interior of our dream home. She organized appointments to meet vendors and made the selection process enjoyable. From our spectacular master bath with dramatic expresso cabinets to our open great room floor plan with gorgeous hard wood floors, I could not have accomplished this project without her expert advice.

Design Anthologie, Inc came highly recommended by our friends and our builder, Dave Konkol. During our first meeting with Sharon, we knew she was THE designer for us! She listened closely to our wishes and added her input which was creative, practical and insightful. Sharon really understood the style we were trying to achieve. Design Anthologie, Inc. designed all of our interior details including ceilings, custom mill work as well as furniture, window treatments and accessories. It was definitely a one-stop shop. Sharon was able to meet deadlines and budgets and it was obvious that she has great relationships with all of her vendors. Our home, The Nantucket, was awarded a Merit Award in its category in the 2013 Fall Parade of Homes.
