He has the knowledge, impeccable taste, network of professionals, and decades of experience (not to mention charm and dashing good looks) to take on ANY project! Todd is indispensable!

After having lived in our family home for 17 years, I had a palpable desire for an update without ripping out walls! With the passage of time and my changing and evolving taste in color and design, I knew that change was in order, yet I had no idea where to start. Enter Todd and Jen of Design By Todd, Lafayette, Louisiana. After a very thoughtful and discerning consultation to determine my family's lifestyle and needs in relationship to our home and it's design, Todd and Jen gently "edited" both my indoor and exterior living spaces using both new and existing furniture, lighting, and decor, sprinkled with new and beautiful color in the form of drapery panels, lamps and throw pillows. Their professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled, and I will DEFINITELY use them again for both smaller and larger projects. Thanks to Todd and Jen I have "fallen in love" with my home all over again!!

Todd and Jennifer gave me great instruction on redoing our mater bedroom. The colors and style Todd chose for my kitchen are perfect! I can't wait to see what he does with the rest of the house. We started out with a 2 hours with Todd session to see if we should purchase an old house that needed serious remodeling. His answer was YES! We purchased it and Todd helped us create the little house of our dreams. He started off by measuring and photographing all of our furniture and art. He then came up with plans for a total remodel. The result it functional, beautiful, comfortable - and most importantly - it's us. He truly got to know us and designed something that really fits who we are and how we live. After 6 months, we are still discovering how much we love it. We cannot say enough about Todd's vision and talent. The best part is that both Todd and Jenn are great people that are wonderful to work with!

I am remodeling an old house and Todd helped me pick out my paint colors. I couldn't be more pleased with the way it came out. He made my house a home. :)

I loved the way "Todd" seems able to design for high end as well as budget conscious clients! I reviewed all of the projects he has here on houzz and was very pleased with the layout of furniture, color choices, and sometimes small changes that created huge differences in the beauty of the rooms. I prefer rooms with soothing hues and only one or two things that really draw the eye. I don't like rooms with several different prints and a multitude of colors. How can anyone relax or think surrounded by so much "activity" has always eluded me. I'm currently trying to fit what's left of my belongings from a 2500 sq. ft. home into a newly built 1000 sq. ft. home! Needless to say I'm not having much success. However I do intend to avail myself of some of your ideas here on houzz. Continued success to you Todd!

My husband and I have had a unique opportunity to live and travel overseas for many years. Having recently returned to Lafayette La. I was a bit overwhelmed pulling it all together with the many styles and various pieces I'd collected, so I decided to search out professional help. Todd Zimmerman has vision beyond belief. I have hired him on 2 occasions for remodeling a professional medical office. What an impact his design made in terms of employee and patient response. He actually interviewed all of the employees to determine what their needs were in the office remodel. It made everyone feel like they had ownership in the project. We recently completed a top-to-bottom renovation of a 1940’s home in Lafayette, Louisiana. The home has ‘good bones’ but was in need of a complete updating.
