Lenore at Design Fruition is my go-to designer. We have worked together on several projects and we have a great relationship. Most importantly, my clients love working with her because she's an excellent listener. She takes their ideas and desires and makes them reality. Conversely, Lenore can create her own beautiful designs if a client has a fresh canvas and an open mind. I highly recommend contacting Lenore at Design Fruition to get a fresh perspective on your existing space, or to build an entirely new one!

My husband I purchased our home in 2000, it is an older home but we figured we could fix it up in time. A decade passed and we finally decided to do the renovations we planned, to expand the master bedroom and build a master bath. I had been given a business card by a co-worker for Design Fruition in case I needed some ideas. I thought I knew I wanted I'd been planning the renovation in my mind for so long, but when it came down to making decisions I was confused and overwhelmed. There are so many choices and once I made a decision it was forever, we would never be able to do this renovation again. I called Lenore of Design Fruition to see what services she provided. It was easy to get in touch with her (which I found out through the renovation process was a hard quality to find in a service provider!!) and she was so friendly and easy to talk to. She understood my concerns and I felt pressure lifted off me by just a conversation with her. We met not long after and I was surprised she was younger! She had been so professional and so knowledgeable over the phone, I thought she would have been older and had been in the business forever! I expressed my confusion but she didn't go into forcing ideas on me. She took time to talk to me, to get to know me, my lifestyle, my family and living situation. She was interested in not only creating beauty in my new space but conducive beauty. My husband and I had gone into so many model homes to get ideas but although the space was beautiful, we knew the plan wouldn't work for our lifestyle. Lenore 'got it' she new that the space needed to be magnificent but livable! I can't say enough about Design Fruition and Lenore Smith, she not only helped me with the design and decorating of the space but I was confident with ever decision that I made. There was no pressure from her, just comfort. She worked seamlessly with all the different contractors, they all LOVED her not only because she is so easy to get along with, but also because she never missed a meeting or deadline ~ always ahead of the project! To top this all off, Lenore worked with my budget. She knew how much I had to spend on the project and how much I could spend on her time and efforts. I think she went above and beyond what we agreed upon, I think that is just who she is. She expressed that she loved her business, loved creating beauty for others, and loved the happiness and comfort she could provide to her clients. That is why she does what she does... she never made it about money and never expressed anything was a hassle (even when I changed my mind a few times!) she was kind and professional and caring. It is truly hard to find someone who does something because they love it, not because they are forced to do it. Working with someone like that makes all the difference! I would highly recommend Design Fruition for any design job you have! From building, remodeling or just sprucing your living space up. My mom has since used her services as well. She isn't familiar with blogging so I will post on her behalf. She loved Lenore and what value and comfort Lenore's service provided to her home.

It was in 2011 that a newly developed high-rise was being built in a prime location of Honolulu, Hawaii, and it was then that I had made the purchase of my very first home. A 2 bedroom/2 bath, the general aesthetics of each space was the same in each unit, yet I knew I wanted to 1- change the color of my walls, and 2- add window treatments. But that was just the beginning. As a young bachelor, I was in need of help. I have a style that is considered to be more on the conservative side. I know I like neutral colors with slight hints of color pop here and there but I did not know which ones specifically and I certainly did not have a clue as to where I was going to be putting all my furnishings. I just needed guidance on how to cohesively tie everything together. It wasn't until my friend had recommended the services of Design Fruition that I had even considered using a designer. My thoughts on interior designers prior to my project was that they were unaffordable and intimidating. When Lenore and I met for the first time during my initial consultation, I knew right away that we were going to get along. I felt comfortable from the start and didn't feel as if this designer was going to just design some elaborate home that was not my taste at all. She took my likes and dislikes and gave me a variety of furnishings to choose from which complimented the space very well. She narrowed down color swatches from what I had originally wanted, helped execute which window treatments I chose based on my needs and because I just didn't have the time, she also went research shopping for furnishings based on my floor plan needs. She supplied sketches and computer drawings that helped to highlight her expertise on space planning and her eye for style but most importantly, I felt that the design was my own. Lenore supplied the guidance that I needed plus allowing me to make the decisions therefore making it feel like "me". Lenore was there from the beginning and there till the end. She gave my home the final touches that it needed and I couldn't be more grateful. I would highly recommend Lenore and Design Fruition to anyone ever in need of design services for their home or office.

I moved to Manoa in 2009 and the home was in desperate need of a makeover. It wasn't until 2012 that I was finally ready to renovate and chose to use the interior design services of Design Fruition. Lenore was very professional and knew exactly where my problem areas were and knew exactly how to fix them. I could tell she had a great eye. She had produced drawings, samples and ideas that I simply fell in love with. With the use of space planning, a lot of paint, re-design work and furnishings that she helped to choose, she converted my home into what is now the sanctuary that I've always wanted to come home to. Not only is she experienced, but she is also accommodating and always made time for me. A true professional yet Lenore made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I've enjoyed her work so much that I've just recently acquired her services for home staging a property that I am trying to sell. I would highly recommend Lenore and Design Fruition to any person looking for interior design or home staging services.

My wife and I own a 900 sq ft house, built in the 1930's. Given the house's age (and it's old-school paint job), we really struggled with making things look nice, modern and orderly. And while we tried to buy a few up-to-date furnishings, like drapes and stuff, we really couldn't make things look good on our own. Design Fruition was great. Even though our house is a small, Lenore treated us like a big client. We got to see design boards and idea sketches...which for me was very cool. Ultimately, she designed everything for us... from paint color to furniture choices to cool little accents we definitely wouldn't have thought of on our own. And now, not only is the room great-looking, I think the biggest benefit is that we actually use it now from a functionality standpoint. It isn't a storage room or wasted space. It is almost a new part of our house. So looking back, it was worth every penny to have Design Fruition come in.
