Patricia was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA., in 1985 she moved abroad and lived in London and Pakistan for 10 years. After returning to the U.S. and settling on the East Coast, she attended the world renowned Parson’s School of Design in New York where she earned a degree in Interior Design. Currently residing in Richmond, VA where she is working on several residential and commercial/restaurant projects. Patricia has 20 years of experience in the home-furnishings industry, before starting her own firm she worked for a well-established design firm in Greenwich, CT where she learned all aspects of running a business, as well as refining her design aesthetic. Her vast work experience also include, sales, marketing and business development consulting, for both large and small companies. She founded her own company, Design Therapy LLC in 2010, when she realized her true passion was helping people with their “design issues,” working closely with clients to ensure that the final result is an environment they truly enjoy living and working in. Functionality, comfort and beauty are all integrated into her design work and she believes that an unlimited budget isn’t necessary to create a beautiful space.

Patricia was a consummate professional. She provided creative and inspirational design ideas within the mid-century modern style I sought. She was also able to procure pieces at very reasonable rates. Finally, she showed tremendous effort and responsiveness from project start to finish. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an attentive, creative and responsive designer who really knows how to "put it all together" in the end.

Patricia was a real joy to work with - very skilled at working in our existing pieces, creative and spot-on in identifying those changes where we would get the biggest bang for our buck, and sensitive to both our life stye and creating a holistic look for our apartment. She is a relentless shopper - meaning you need only say yes or no! and really excellent at the follow-through including her negotiations and monitoring with our contractor.

Commented: Love the sectional chairs, where are they from?Hi Michelle, Yes this sofa is the Mah Jong and can only be purchased through a Roche Bobois showroom. It comes in many fabric options, it’s a beautiful and functional sofa.

Commented: Beautiful room! What color are the walls?Hi, dining room was Benjamin Moore Titanium/OC-49, off the dining room I used BM Intense White/OC-51. Both are really nice neutral warmer light grays.
