Dianne Davant founded her interior design firm in 1979 in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Now celebrating over 40 years, the firm has grown to include several very talented designers that dedicate themselves to providing the very best in interior design. While maintaining the company headquarters at the foot of Grandfather Mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina, the firm opened an additional design studio in Florida in 1996. The dual studios allow Dianne and the design staff the convenience to work with clients throughout the year at either design studio. Both studios house a remarkable library of furnishing, fabric, flooring, wall covering and accessory selections and serve as the firm’s own in-house design centers. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the leading professional organization for interior designers. Professional members must complete a combination of accredited design education and work experience as well as pass the accreditation exam administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Each senior member of the design staff is a professional Member of ASID and has successfully completed the educational requirements and the NCIDQ exam. There is truly nothing Dianne cannot do! Completely decorating a huge NC mountain home or a Florida coastal cottage. Remodeling a country kitchen or designing a stunning waterfront dining room. Her experience and expertise is limitless. She is smart, quick and knows how to work with a variety of clients. She always goes the extra distance to make sure the job is done perfectly! I have been fortunate enough to work with her several times and each project was a success! Cannot go wrong here.

Dianne and her team did an outstanding job designing and refurbishing the Great Hall and Card Room at Indian Creek Country Club. She enhanced the architectural elements in the original '30's Maurice Fatio design. Innovative ceiling fabric covered an acoustical ceiling that was added to the original design. Elegant draperies, carpet and furnishings provided a warm updated look that has been extremely well received by club members. The project came in on time and under budget and it was a pleasure working with her.

Priscilla Hyatt, one of the designers at Dianne Davant's did an incredible job in reshaping my office into an amazing work space. Our location on the river was featured in her design theme and she took the feel of the outdoors and brought it wonderfully indoors as well...great work Priscilla! I highly recommend her and the entire team.
