Distinct Interiors is an Edmonton-based full-service luxury interior design firm for everyday busy clients. Working with both modern and traditional aesthetics, our objective is to collaborate with our clients to learn about their needs and style to create their dream look. Distinct interiors that are an elegant and unique reflection of each client’s personality and taste. Working with our clients to reach their goals and objectives, Distinct Interiors will plan, design and execute any project whether it is a total home makeover, kitchen renovation, or a simple living room furnishing and decorating. Absolute best designer! Sawsan is amazing at what she does. She is meticulous and creative and turned our work space from boring to spectacular! I would only hire her ever again!

Susan completely decorated our master bedroom and ensuite, from all new furniture and drapes to all the little decorative details that make a space beautiful. Initially I met with three different designers including Susan, all with impressive resumes, but I chose Susan because she was so personable and I knew I would have fun and feel at ease working with her. From the beginning we were impressed with her talent and professionalism. I am a paraplegic and use a wheelchair, so there were height and functionality requirements to consider, but Susan never once batted an eye or made me feel like our project was extra work (although I'm sure it was). In the consultation, she made sure she got a good sense of the look we wanted, and from there she took care of everything, checking in on the bigger items to make sure we were happy with her selections. In the end, she somehow pulled off a surprise room reveal - I had absolutely no idea it was going on - just one example of her trademark special touch. We are very happy with our elegant and luxurious new room, and plan to have Susan decorate other rooms in our house in the future.

Susan's ability to work on any range of project is what really drew me to her in the first place. No matter the job, Susan's attention to detail and knowledge with material and product remains consistent. Not to mention that she is always such a joy to be around and one of the most genuine people I know. It offers me great peace of mind to know that whenever my next Interior Design need pops up, I have someone I know I can trust to call.

I hired Susan for some renovation work to our living room, bedroom and basement. There is definitely something to be said for natural talent. Her creatiivity and talent is amazing. And she is such a great person to work rather than telling us what we would like. And she stayed within our with. Unlike the previous designer I got a quote from, Susan listened to us budget. At first my husband didn't understand the value of a designer. Once he saw the finished product he was beyond impressed. We LOVE our new look. Just BEAUTIFUL. Now we come home after a hard day and it is so relaxing and calming. The lighting, the space use, the colors. She completely changed our home lives. I would very highly recommend Susan. Susan was so helpful incorporating our ideas to make our kitchen renovation reflect our style, while ensuring items like resale, budget, and coordinating colours/textures were considered. The kitchen is now amazing, flows great, and a functional use of space where we enjoy making meals, and entertaining. I really enjoyed working with Susan. She is very pleasant, easy to work & very professional. Susan helped us in making decisions with the granite. the window coverings, the paint colors, etc. She was honest & knew exactly what would work. I wish I had used her through out our renovations. If I were to do it again, I would do it differently. I would have hired from start to finish. She's awesome. You will like her!

Susan did a fantastic job helping us with paint and trim colours when we painted the interior of our house. Susan also remodelled our daughters room with beautiful items from Pottery Barn Teens, very bright and vibrant. She has also helped us with several other improvements to our house. We will be using Elite Interior Designs for any future remodelling we will be doing to our house!
