Douglas Design Studio has been recognized with several Awards from ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario) as well as several awards from the International Design and Architecture Awards in London, England. In fact, Douglas Design Studio was established in 1995 by Jeffrey Douglas to focus on creating interiors that perfectly express the homeowner's own style. We believe that, whether casual or formal, elegant or edgy, your home's interior must reflect who you are and how you live. Working with Douglas Design Studio is an absolute blessing. Jeffrey has a vision for design which is second to none. His creativity and ability to create unique design is what sets him ahead. I met Jeffrey through a mutual client 15 years ago , after seeing the amazing design work he did for that clients kitchen, I knew right then and there that Jeffrey would be the designer we would want when we purchased our house. Jeffrey saw things we never would have envisioned when we purchased this 1950's built home that needed his incredible attention to detail. He totally transformed the home beyond our expectations. Coincidentally we also have been working together professionally ever since then.The entire team at Douglas Design Studio are a pleasure to work with and we look forward to many more collaborations in the years ahead. Douglas design provided me with design and paint colour advice for an added second storey on my home as well as new colour for the main floor. The advice was excellent on how to enable new 2nd floor to meet old, first floor.

We had the pleasure of working with Jeffrey Douglas on our home. Our experience was nothing but positive. Not only is Jeffrey extremely talented, but he is also patient, respectful, funny and one of the nicest people we ever met. He really understood our style and budget and did not push anything that we didn't feel comfortable with but at the same time introduced us to ideas that we never even envisioned and we embraced them. His creativity is endless and ability to solve architectural limitations and problems is nothing short of extraordinary. I have worked with Douglas Design Studio for many years. My experience has ALWAYS been incredible. They are fabulous designers with an incredible amount of knowledge and cutting edge style. My experience with Jeffrey and his office staff has been amazing. Our latest project was for a family from out of town so we really had to coordinate and execute efficiently. I believe we made an incredible team and would recommend Douglas Design Studio to any professional or client in a heartbeat. Douglas Design Studio is extremely respectful of the architecture we created and only enhanced our project!!

I was searching through Houzz for stair designs and I came across pictures from Douglas Design Studios that I really liked, so I contacted them about what I wanted done and how much I wanted to spend and they emailed me back right away with the companies that they use and their contact person and telephone number. They said since I knew what I wanted (open staircase with glass/wood railing) that there was no sense in paying a middle man and gave me their direct contacts. The company that came out Royal Oak Stairs was fantastic too very professional and reasonably priced. We are hoping to get the job done by March/2014.

Douglas Design was there from the initial creation of the design to the very end of the project. We are thrilled with our renewed living space! In addition to the incredible ideas, the service and responses to our requests made this large renovation a complete successful experience.
