I have relied upon the Interior Design expertise of Julie Downey of Downey Designs for over 20 years. Our first project was the remodel of a mid century ranch in 1995, the interior of a true ranch house in South Texas in 2000, a Barndominium on the same ranch in 2014, and the remodel of my daughter's home inside the 610 Loop of Houston in 2015. Currently, March of 2017, she is assisting my daughter with new master bedroom window treatments. Julie listens to your preferences then gives sound practical advice while working hard to stay within your budget. One area, which I find to be difficult, is the selection of paint colors. Who knew that there are 40 different hues of white. I trust Julie to know. Let me also say, that through the years, I have found her to be a very honest and sincere. I do not know what my next project will be, but I do know that I will be calling on Julie Downey of Downey Designs to see me through it.

Julie helped us transform our Houston Bungalow into a wonderful modern home. An innovative approach was taken with the construction of a new additional bathroom and a full modernization throughout the house.

Downey Design created beautiful centerpiece and floral arrangements for my wedding. I simply told her the colors and to chose for me. I was so impressed in the flowers chosen and the arrangements were just beautiful. My husband and I received many compliments. Although the tables were beautiful, they were not to be outdone by my bouquet! Thanks Downey Design!
