She also guided us through the overwhelming process of selecting paint colors and wallpaper throughout the rest of the house. Stacia was so helpful in assisting us with selecting new carpets and lighting. The house is gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with our newly remodeled home! We wanted to update our 20-year-old main bathroom from builder grade to “timeless elegance.” We chose Stacia Heinrich of Drab to Fab, and we are glad we did! I had an idea of what I wanted, but Stacia provided great design choices for all aspects of the remodel. She provided pictures and samples for finishings within our requested budget. It’s overwhelming to walk into tile stores, so narrowing the choices was appreciated. Everything, except the tub, was demolished. We gained 14 inches in our shower that the builder had blocked off. The schedule for this bathroom remodel was 4 weeks; and it was finished in 4 weeks, except the specially ordered glass shower panels. The remodeling teams were very competent and respectful of our property. They showed up on their assigned workdays. The young man who did the shower tile did an exceptional job. Stacia checked the progress of the work almost daily and scheduled the trades. Stacia was always upbeat and certainly enjoys designing and coordinating remodeling projects. Stacia’s communication was quick and efficient. We highly recommend Stacia, and we will use her for our next remodeling project.

We contracted Stacia to design and remodel our master bathroom. She was quick to come talk to me about the project, we discussed the things we wanted, she offered suggestions of what she thought would work well, and took measurements. Her turnaround time to quote the remodel and present her ideas was exceptional. Based on our short conversation and a few texts prior to showing us her design she came in strong with a design we loved. We spoke to another contractor to get a quote, but stopped the process with them after getting Stacia's design and price. We knew we found the right fit with Drab to Fab Decorating. She has her own crews who are licensed & bonded and she manages the entire process. Anything we needed, we just had to call or text and her response was often "I'm on it." She always was. Every single person in my house was respectful of my property. They covered everything to keep a dirty process as clean as possible and each day they cleaned up after themselves to leave as little of a mess as possible when you're in a remodel. I felt completely comfortable to go to work and leave them alone in the house. She gave us a timeline for the project and when something came up she was great about communicating an adjusted timeline (which was generally more about moving items around then delaying our project). Was everything perfect, of course not, it's construction. Things came up like an item being delivered damaged & needing to reorder. There were a few small things we asked the tiles guys to come back and do. The light fixture above the tub turned out to be a bit a of challenge, but because she knew that was one of the things I loved the most, she and her electrician Ruben and his crew (also amazing) spent an entire day working on it to make the fixture work. From spray painting new parts to rewiring it, it is up and it is beautiful! I imagine most people would have said let's return it and find something else. When I couldn't decide on light fixtures above the mirrors and my husband wanted different plumbing fixtures, she was helpful and patient with us offering suggestions and websites to look at. Bottom line, she was a pleasure to work with and so were her crews. She was invested in making her design come to life and more importantly making sure we loved it. I still sometimes walk into the bathroom and ask my husband "remember when our bathroom was ugly?" When we're ready to remodel the kitchen Drab To Fab Decorating is who we will be calling.

I hired Stacia to design & oversee the remodel of our basement in Fishers (it was already finished, but we had been in the house for 17 years, so it needed to be updated for the current time. The remodel included custom cabinetry/lighting and appliances for a bar area and extensive custom cabinetry/lighting for a Theatre area that included an 83-inch OLED TV, we added an island with waterfall edges on both sides of the island that seats six in front of the bar vs having a traditional bar with a surrounding countertop (I was skeptical of this at first, but I'm glad I trusted Stacia's vision as it turned out fantastic. The basement also included the following games for our teenager to entertain their friends: Skee-ball, Air Hockey & a 9 ft. Shuffleboard Table. Additionally, the remodel included a feature wall with custom woodwork that was painted black (turned out amazing), a bathroom remodel that was done in black and white (turned out very nice) and a bedroom remodel that included mostly paint and accessories. Stacia has a great design eye, and she will push your comfort zone a bit on the designs, but they always turn our fantastic (over the past four years, Stacia has remodeled our entire home - first the main floor, then the upstairs and finally she completed our basement). Stacia has a really good eye for adding accessories including art, vases, faux flowers, etc. The accessories can't be overlooked as it relates to how they can complete a remodeled space, and she does a wonderful job in this area. Finally, Stacia has a stable of contractors that can complete anything needed during a remodel, so you can rely on her to design, coordinate the vendors to complete her vision and communicate with the vendors (as necessary) if anything is not completed to her satisfaction/standards. I would highly recommend Stacia from Drab to Fab Decorating for your project!

Drab to Fab completed our bathroom remodel in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Stacia offered a fresh design and created a project calendar with key deliverables and due dates. The remodel; which included full demolition, electric, plumbing , new shower, new flooring, new tile, new cabinets, new lighting, and fresh paint; was completed in twenty work days per schedule. The project was done on time to our satisfaction. Stacia was on site most days of the week to check worker progress and keep us informed. She was responsive to our concerns/questions and was personally involved in the final cleanup. This impressed me. She cared to do things right! Highly recommended!

Stacia and her crew were fantastic. She helped stream line all the decisions we needed to make once she understood the vibe we wanted in our bathroom. Her design and vision were spot on. She had the materials at our house within a few days. She gave us a calendar on what was going to happen when and the crew stuck to it. She was in constant communication with the crew and us and stopped by all the time to double check the work. It was obvious how much her crew enjoyed working with her. Such a great team. I hired Stacia in 2017 to renovate our master bathroom. I hired her again in 2023 to renovate our kitchen, which became a project to renovate the entire first floor (over 2000 square feet), removing a weight-bearing wall separating the great room and the kitchen. The old kitchen with a peninsula and a separate sunroom became a brand new kitchen with a 9 by 4 feet island, 3 pull-out pantry cabinets, a window bench and a bar/beverage center. The entire 1st floor flooring was replaced by beautiful LVP, our fireplace had a complete make-over, and our guest bath was updated. It was a huge project! Stacia gave me an initial estimated quote and a timeline of 6-8 weeks. She presented the proposed layout and material options, and she "nailed it" with her design and the material (flooring, tiles, cabinets, countertop, etc) she chose for us. I signed the contract with her immediately after seeing her design and proposal. Stacia gave us a proposed schedule. Demolition started on August 7th. The contractors were very polite and good at that job, and they kept the site as clean as possible. We actually lived in the house for the entire project, except for a 10-day period when we went on a trip. We were excited to see the progress day by day. We had a fully-functional kitchen in 5 weeks (Sept 11), then it took one more week for the final pieces of cabinets (re-ordered to replace a couple of broken pieces) to arrive and be installed. On Sept 19th (6 weeks plus 1 day), the tile contractor installed the backsplash and the entire project was done. It was unbelievable how smooth this project went. I called it the "ON TIME ON BUDGET" renovation project. I watch a lot of design shows on HGTV, and it was like I was featured on one of those episodes. I highly recommend Stacia and her crew. Her design is amazing, and her crew does good work. Every contractor who works for her respects her and knows her expectation. I have already referred Stacia to a close friend who has hired here to re-do their gigantic master bathroom, after seeing her work at our house.

More than a decorating organization. I was looking for a full service group that could manage my entire project. I did a major lake house project with virtually no hiccups. And then did my personal home including a full basement finish job and entire house makeover including kitchen! Drab to fab is more a high performance General Contractor that did everything down to buying and installing furnishings, decor, paint, flooring, relocated plumbing. I simply call them for any project in my homes at this Point.

Lake house Estate Remodel: We were so very impressed with the work and communication of Stacia of Drab to Fab Decorating. She had taken our vision and thoughts of what we were wanting to completely remodel our Lake House. This was a very large project. Sadly, I don't really communicate properly what I really want, but Stacia was able to ask questions and show examples and take me to places to see. This was extremely helpful for me. Stacia's team did such a wonderful job, we hired her again to do the decorating for our additional property. Communication, Options, quality craftsmanship are the MOST important thing to me with dealing with a Contractor. Drab to Fab Decorating has it in Spades.

This is the second project that Stacia has done for us. She redid our master bathroom about a year ago and we were so happy with the results that we called her again when we needed to redo our guest bathroom. It came out beautifully too! Stacia came up with a wonderful design and does a great job keeping the project moving. She handles any issues that come up quickly so that we don't have to worry about them. We contracted Stacia to remodel our guest bathroom. We had put this off for years not wanting to deal with the hassle and inconvenience. We had also heard horror stories of projects scheduled to take weeks dragging out for months. Stacia convinced us that she would manage the project very tightly and she delivered. She put together a great plan/design and set-up everything with the respective contractors. Everyone showed up on time, they were very courteous and professional, and left the place clean. Outside of one of the stores giving us the run-around on a vanity we purchased, the whole project was quite painless. The bathroom looks great and we plan to move onto the master bathroom.

Worked with Drab to Fab to update my basement. This project was a complicated one, I had a finished basement that was not professionally done originally. Walls weren't straight, the layout was non-standard, etc. Stacia and her team met with me at the end of January to discuss plans which covered every little detail one could think of. Her team came in and completed the project under a very quick timeline. This included a custom built-in entertainment center and storage cabinet which are incredible to look at. Stacia was also very careful to keep in mind our budget and make the choices that made sense for us. My family has been enjoying our movie nights there every night since. We plan to hire Drab to Fab again for a few more projects around the house.

Stacia was very professional, and throughout the project she listened to my concerns and ideas. The workers she has are wonderful. I even left town during the project, and they were trustworthy and efficient. They always arrived when they said they would, and they cleaned up after themselves. We just finished a total update of our wet bar and for the 3rd time we hired Stacia. She was originally referred to us by one of my sisters when she did a total renovation of our master bath. She totally exceeded our expectations and we then had her transform our main floor with new carpets, paint colors, light fixtures and a guest bath update. While this was a smaller project, Stacia was on top of every single detail and still is. We couldn’t be happier with the final product. She has again exceeded our expectations! Some things worth mentioning in working with Stacia, she only hires the best contractors and suppliers that you can totally trust. Best of all, she lights up the room when she walks in and is a pleasure to work with!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Stacia on two projects, and we look forward to working with her on many more! The first was interior design for our newly finished basement, which included a main living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The second was interior design and minor remodeling of our main floor, including our kitchen/dining area, living room, half bath, and entryway. Prior to hiring Stacia, we had never worked with a designer. We had no clue what to expect. And we didn’t have a good understanding of our own personal styles—or lack thereof :)— so we weren’t able to articulate our wants/needs very well. This created a situation where Stacia ended up spending more time than planned on our basement remodel, but she was patient with us, answering our endless questions and keeping her cool when our thoughts and ideas were all over the place. With the basement project, Stacia listened to what was important to us but also challenged us to go outside our comfort zone. She pushed back when we were tempted to make poor decisions like going too cheap on a sectional. We’d never had really high quality furniture, and there was definitely a lot of sticker shock going on. Stacia took it all in stride. She helped us think through where to spend the bulk of our budget and where to save with discount finds. She helped put us at ease, which can be difficult when working with two people as analytic as my husband and I. For our second project, we underestimated when we gave Stacia our budget, and we were initially disappointed with Stacia’s furniture recommendations. I had a hard time telling her this because she was about to go on vacation, and I wanted her to be in a great mood heading out on vacay. So I waited until her return to break the news that we weren’t feeling it this time. I knew she’d put a lot of time into the recommendations, so I felt bad, but once again, Stacia took it in stride and acted like a true professional. She explained that she was trying to stick to our budget and should have just gone with her gut and told us we needed to spend more to get what she knew we wanted. She went back to the drawing board and came back with great options. She was patient while we went back and forth to the furniture store trying to choose the perfect sofas for us. And there were several issues along the way which were not her fault but caused her to have to spend even more time on our project. For example, we loved the fabric she picked for our sofas, but when she placed the order, the furniture store discovered it had been discontinued. So she had to spend more time trying to find something else that would work well with everything we had already chosen. Then, the furniture store delivered the wrong furniture. Again, Stacia to the rescue. She jumped in and made things right as quickly as possible. She took on the stress of dealing with it so we wouldn’t have to. In the end, both projects turned out amazing. Stacia helped make our house a home that we truly love spending time in. The rooms she designed are truly stunning. The only downside to working with Stacia is that she does such a great job, the rooms she hasn’t touched will look sad and soon you’ll be hiring her for another project! We’re so happy to have found her and look forward to many years of projects to come. Hire her. Have reasonable expectations. Communicate well. You won’t be disappointed!

We hired Drab to Fab to give our kitchen a facelift. While I was pleased with the final result, the process could have been more streamlined. Most of the time I dealt directly with the contractors instead of Stacia and I think our budget presented some challenges for her and her team (didn’t always feel like a priority). She was very busy working on multiple projects and I felt as though I had to stay on top of the process more than I wanted to. Ultimately, I’m happy with my kitchen and any criticism above is only meant to provide constructive feedback for the company and it’s future clients. The project timeline was efficient and within our expectations and the concerns we encountered along the way were addressed accordingly.

We have been "piece-mealing" the update of our 20 year old home over the course of three years, and Stacia's talents have streamlined the process dramatically. I hired Drab To Fab to design my dining room and sitting room. This was the fourth or fifth project we’ve done together. For this project we wanted the two rooms to complement each other, as they are on either side of the front door entry. DTF found fabrics/furniture/drapes/accessories that not only complimented each room, but also the rest of my house. I love how every room flows together! I have to say that there are are few photos of my home that Stacia did and they don't do justice to the real thing. When I first started working with Stacia, my husband was very wary about using a decorator, and now he is the first to text her when we are ready to work on a new space. she basically designed a new master bath. We started with a really outdated pink bathroom. Everything was removed except the toilet; - shower, counters, cabinets, jacuzzi bath. What resulted is a totally transformed master bath with a large beautiful walk in shower, new brown cabinets with granite countertops, new ceramic tile floor. It looks like a decorator showroom master bath. In addition, she picked out new carpeting for the entire main level of our home.
