We decided last year to use Christa and Shelby to help us update our traditional 15 year old home to a more transitional style. They took some of our ideas and with their talent and resources developed a beautiful plan we could afford. Project will be complete this month and it has been a great experience. Duo Design came up with the theme, which included the color palette, fabrics, electrical and plumping fixtures and sourcing furniture factory direct for reasonable prices. Christa and Shelby were able to use most of our furniture from our previous home, and then sublimated additional furnishings that complemented our existing furniture and also the design concept for our newly remodeled home. They are a "hands-on" team that came to our previous home, measured and cataloged all our furniture to determine what we could use and would fit in our new home. The team then came up with a complete room by room list that included design boards for each space so my wife and I could envision what the final product would look like. Overall, we found Duo Design Studio very easy to work with. Their strong communication skills never left us in doubt in any step of the process. Duo Design Studio's very creative design concepts made our house a home.

I had been looking for an interior designer in Greenville for several months. We then went to the Duo Design Studio to discuss the design, colors and fabrics. They made everything very easy. They really listened and put together suggestions that met my design tastes. This is my third project with DUO Design Studio and I would like to highly recommend Christa and Gregorie for your next interior design project. Our most recent project was a $250k renovation property at the Cliff Vineyards in Sunset, South Carolina. The project entailed a complete remodel with new furniture, artwork, light fixtures and layout. We remodeled two kitchens and three bathrooms. They were very creative in using some of existing cabinets and granite to reduce costs. DUO Design Studio developed the entire concept and worked with my contractor to come up with a budget and schedule. Christa and Gregorie developed a design that exceeded our expectations. They were key in keeping my contractor on time and on budget. DUO Design Studio relationships with their distributors for a wide range of products saved us $10's of thousands of dollars off of retail. Gregorie and Christa are the incredible women behind Duo Design!!! I found Duo Design’s profile on houzz and knew immediately that they were the right choice for decorating my living room and powder room. Christa and Gregorie understood my vision right away. They created a floor plan that made sense and were able to steer me towards the perfect vendors for furniture and lighting. I cannot say "THANK YOU" enough to Christa and Greggs! When I called them for inspiration and direction to refresh my office space, I had no idea I would receive so much more! They both visited my space and spent quality time with me listening to MY ideas, budget, and crazy timeframe for pulling off the complete renovation of my 1903 historic home.....that I "live in" to run my mortgage company in downtown Greenville. I wanted to refinish the hardwood floors, paint the walls and trim, update all lighting, install new countertops and also replace the furniture in almost every room....and I needed to do the renovations inside *one* month and re-furnishing very quickly after that! They even found a way to repurpose the old heart pine flooring we had to replace by asking a local artist make a bar height table for my kitchen!! They surprised me with the little decorating tips they knew that went such a long way...Like where to hide electrical outlets in the places you may need them at Christmas time and how to save you money by refurbishing existing pieces that can still be in style with just a simple modification or two! Hiring DUO DESIGN STUDIO was the best decision I made to finish my house. Christa and Gregs helped me finish my living room, dining room and kitchen. In the living room, they pulled together the entire room with Schumacher fabrics, original artwork and reupholstered furniture. The dining room came together with custom drapes and beautiful fabric for the chairs, plus a gorgeous new mirror. We recently bought a cabin in the Blue Ridge Parkway in SC. The challenge to furnish the cabin from our residence several thousand miles away was easily remedied by Christa and her crew at Room Service Interiors. We met in person only once at the cabin. The interview was followed up by questionnaires about our preferences and clever request of photos of our permanent residence to help express our tastes. I was apprehensive about furnishing the cabin remotely, but Christa alleviated all of my worries. She did an extra ordinary job of communicating, answering emails within minutes most times. She sent us multiple options and organized virtual pictures to help us feel as though we were in the cabin during the process. Upon our first visit last month, we were welcomed to a place that immediately felt like home.

I don't have the space to say all of the wonderful things these girls have accomplished in my home. They made a stressful process fun. We moved in 2 weeks ago and LOVE our new home. I cannot imagine surviving this and ending up with such a beautiful product without their expert consultation. We are still bringing the vision fully to life with more painting (doing it ourselves) and a few outstanding pieces to be purchased, but every decision so far has been just right for us and within our price range. I will continue to tap into the expertise of Room Service as we add final touches to our home. You can't go wrong with Christa and Gregorie!

Easy and enjoyable to work with. There was not a lot of time wasted as they translated our vision perfectly through initial conversation and consultation. We had an immediate need to get the work done, and the team was flawless in their execution and understood the deadline and met it. Very reasonable fees.

Christa came and did two rooms and a bathroom in our home. The rooms were freshly painted so she talked color schemes with us and asked what we wanted the rooms to become. One room was a guest bedroom and she made changes that brightened the room. She talked us into keeping a dresser we were going to sell. When I saw this in the new room I was pleasantly surprised at how it worked without making the room seem too cramped.. The other room she worked on was one where we wanted a masculine den feel to it. She helped choose a great new bed, a console and a comfortable chair for my husband, She really knows great art work to accent the room with. Christa really listened to our needs and thanks to her we have two new, comfy rooms.

What a fantastic experience working with Christa and Gregs! My husband and I live in Chicago and bought a vacation rental in beautiful Maggie Valley, NC. We needed to create a comfortable environment for our visitors and needed some guidance. We gave them a budget to go by and what rooms we wanted to concentrate on. All of this was first done on line! They looked at our pictures of the vacation rental, we talked on the phone and corresponded through email, so they did not see our home until they walked through our door. They brought all of their items they selected (by just viewing pictures mind you!) and we went through the house choosing which items to put in each room. We bought everything except for a few pieces! I cannot be more happy and will be using them again for additional services. They are terrific ladies and if you need help with styling and designing ideas they are the company to choose! You won't be sorry....I know we aren't!

Christa and Gregorie of Jolie Kolaj were great to work with on the project of redecorating some areas in our home. They are up to date on the latest trends in decorating but made a conscious effort to work with my style and items that we already own. They were able to easily work within our budget and provided several options at different price points. I would highly recommend them to friends.

After purchasing a beautiful older home in Greenville, I was overwhelmed by what to do with my living room. The layout was complicated, and it was our only living space aside from our sunroom. It needed to look “put together” while still being the place where my family really lived. The talented designers at Room Service put together the perfect layout and a gorgeous color pallet for the walls and upholstery, helping me by narrowing down my choices. They were knowledgeable about quality of furniture construction and fabric suitability, and helped me to select the right pieces for my family- we have three black labs and a three year old child who have put our living room to the test! I was so impressed by their spot-on accuracy at selecting appropriate dimensions for furniture in my space. They listened to my ideas and pulled them together in a way that was my style but better. Ultimately, they created a space that is classic and comfortable but also very “in.” Room Service’s commitment to being up-front and transparent about costs was as impressive as their design talent. They created a detailed budget by item showing the difference between retail and their client’s costs. I could have purchased the same high quality furniture at local retailers, but spent less working with Room Service even including their design fees! They are also just really fun and friendly people! We can’t wait to get started on the next room!

Room Service helped me refresh my great room (which was tired and not so great). I didn't realize the difference a fresh coat of paint, new drapery panels or a new rug could make. They helped me rearrange my furniture, spray paint existing pieces and move around artwork and mirrors that I already had. It felt SO good to ditch the old sofa and chair because I was able to order the newest style sofa from them at a fraction of the retail cost. Its amazing what you can justify spending when you save so much! Sometimes we just can't see the forest for the trees because we sit amongst it every day. ROOM SERVICE came to my rescue! I decided to change the color scheme of my house and update a few pieces of furniture, art, etc. in 2013. We took things in steps, choosing a new color palette first and getting all of the painting handled. With my work schedule, ROOM SERVICE took on shopping, and texting photos of items to get my feedback. Christa really paid attention to what I liked and the budget range I wanted to stay in for my updates. Before I knew it, my house was coming together.... I took my children on vacation in October, and ROOM SERVICE came in the day we were scheduled to come home and made over several rooms of my house. We walked in exhausted from vacation and so excited to see all of our new things. It was like Christmas two months early! I'm still amazed how changing a few colors and a few accessories in my home made such a big difference. I really enjoy ROOM SERVICE's flexibility, creativity and staying on top of the project to make sure everything was completed by when I needed it to be finished. Room Service is amazing! In my case it wasn't just one room, but an entire house.
