Peggy has a great taste, her extensive knowledge of current European designers and top quality furniture brands helped us design our newly built contemporary house and make it unique, open, airy, functional and just a beautiful place to live, have intimate diners with friends or host great parties for either kids or adults. Peggy came through yet again! Not only is was she great for the interior design but the outdoor landscape design was superb. She was able to add elements of what I wanted to the design yet keeping it adorable and simple. I book marked Dupuis-Design around 4 years ago when I looking around for a designer for a house we were moving to but due to low budget, we didn't end up using a designer. Her designs caught my eye because she was one of the few designers that focus on modern design with clean lines. Her landscaping designs for the yard was unique and beautiful. Her work of interior design was innovative and fun. She also designed jewelry display cases that looked elegant and luxurious. But I didn't use her until a recent house purchase for my mom. The sales lady from the builder recommended her personal designer friend to me and I realized it was the same designer that I book marked years ago from doing a search non other here on Houzz. So fast forward to current, she's been helping with the house since beginning of the year. It has been pleasure to work with her to say the least. She is very patient and very accommodating to personal preference as I am picky and at times have hard time making decisions. Peggy has great taste and all the decor and pieces she picks out seems to all work perfectly together in some magical way. She somehow finds extraordinary items that are interesting and cool. She only picks out the best quality items made in Italy or France. Dupuis-Design will be a good fit for someone who has expensive taste! I really enjoy working with her, she is very easy to work with and genuinely a nice person so makes the experience very pleasant.

Buying and designing a house in the middle of a pandemic has not been easy considering all of the backorders and getting dates for contractors, painter, electricians, etc, but Peggy absolutely made it feel like she tried her hardest to fit our jobs in as best she could. Finding this much furniture would have been a complete headache doing it all on my own, so having her help and show me different options and designs for the whole house was so great. She is really great at what she does and is very efficient in everything as well. Peggy did an amazing work with my apartment in Paris. I just moved into my first apartment in Paris which is 45 sq meter in Porte de St Cloud Paris. The layout of the furniture had to be efficient and functional so I could move around and have all the storage I need to work and live in my home. As an freelance artist it also had to be very functional so I could work efficiently at home. She made my home just perfect to my liking, perfect for work and all the storage I need. Would definitely use her services again and recommend her highly !

Excellent! I have a b&b in France and needed help with converting horse stables into rooms for my guests. The rooms needed windows, flooring, plumbing, tile and furnishings. The larger house needed new decor and furniture. They provided timely service, CAD drawings, mood boards and worked within my budget. I am very happy how it all turned out and so are my guests!

Peggy completed 2 entire bathroom renovation projects for us. She has a clean, contemporary, modern, and Zen like eye for design that have transformed our 21 year old bathrooms into 21st century ones that will last and function better for us. While there were challenges with one of her subcontractors, she worked diligently to fix the issues coming frequently to our home and supervising the work to her and our satisfaction. As a result, we are giving her more work with the master bathroom and family room overhaul that will commence in early 2016.

She is Mrs. Perfect! I met Peggy while our house was being built at houzz.com (looked at many profiles and designers/agencies). We wanted a creative modern/contemporary interior designer (with ability to do outdoor/backyard design as well). Our initial meeting went in a 'model' house, we then discussed our family/kids/personalities/likes/dislikes. She met our family and kids as well. She was very thorough in trying to understand what we're (personalities) instead of doing just a 'packaged/common' solution. I hired her the same day (didn't even interview other firms or designers). It was important for me to look for indepdendent skilled designer instead of agency (as I wanted 100% attention to details and dedication to my project). She is 100% into your house, your solution, your needs and the execution. With big companies - you get much lower attention to details and absence of dedication. With Peggy I clearly saw that and knew she would execute it. Got this feeling and didn't regret. She was executing from day 1 to finish, even when all payments have been done - she continued to execute without loosing quality or details (important for me). It was dedication for perfect result, which I respect a lot in people and I knew it's much harder to find in bigger companies (due to volume of work they are doing). She made full design of the house (All rooms, front yard, backyard, bathrooms - everything). We had many meetings and discussions prior of starting the design. She got into our house, talked with me and my wife, discussed our needs and wishes. We were prepared ( we have compiled a long list of designs we liked, the furniture we like etc). We gave her as much as we can to emphasize what style we're looking for (and this was aligned with Peggy's own style and vision actually, so we got quite a good result back). Then she compiled the list and got with her own ideas which we carefully reviewed. Some accepted, some rejected. Using colorful wall with tiles from Paris - was Amazing idea Peggy brought it. We got design decks (PDF files with images representing furniture options as it would look like), we got 3D images of major areas of our house, we gave tons of feedback to Peggy and each time we got a revised solution back until we became 100% comfortable. She also provided a real 3D image of living room, outdoor, master bedroom using the furniture and color options (walls, drapery etc) we requested. It was awesome, as it shows you what you get 100%. Once we approved the layout and furniture she went and assembled a buy sheet for us, giving us various discounts from many stores. She was dedicated and managed the process and contractors. I was transferring the money to Peggy, she was doing the purchases for me. Another great thing is that she vetted all the contractors (backyard, spa, landscaping) before recommending it to us, so we didn't even need to find a contractor. She mailed/called them, discussed design (so they can give us accurate pricing) and recommended contractors based on this evaluation. She also got her own crew - Benjamim (Painter) is fantastic, really the best I've seen. Highly recommended. Anyway the design and the outcome is 1:1 what's planned/expected. Which is another great thing. Design she came up with was doable and was executed by contractors under her supervision perfectly. Even she was out in France periodically she was managing the contractors remotely. Obtaining images of progress and giving the feedback to the team. So like I said - she was showing the dedication to result 100% from start to finish and I never senses that she loose interest or put you in a queue because got other customers. She uses the best vendors, therefore her solution is nice and...costly. We went overbudget in solution significantly. The good thing is that Peggy didn't ask me to re-negotiate her fixed price deal (which is based on the budget of your total solution), she made commitment and delivered, which I value a lot as well. We highly recommend her to someone who really needs quality design and who is ready to listen to her ideas (she has a lot!)

Peggy did a fantastic job transforming our 1970s original construction, dark and dreary bathroom into this amazing beautiful, modern and serene master bathroom. The layout of the house was hard to work with, but she was eager to accept the challenge and came up with the best design out of the several designers that we interviewed. Her background in working with small spaces in Europe was a perfect match for the limited space we had. She was very proactive, always response in less than 24 hours, very open to our ideas, and very pleasant to work with. She was very respectful of our budget, and worked hard to get bids from the contractors to meet the budget without sacrificing quality. We highly recommend Dupuis Design for your next project. Peggy was lovely to work with. I highly recommend her services. I wanted to work with her for our project because I felt she brought a modern design aesthetic with warmth and fun rather than sterility. We did less structural renovation and more design and decoration. We have a big family and love to entertain and wanted our decor to reflect this. I was recently hired by Peggy Dupuis as an artisan to create a silver leafed ceiling for her client. Background - Project Scope - in need of design consultation for our 1,500 square footage 2 story condo. Selection Criteria - looking for a designer who understands colors, spacing and possesses simple modern design approach. Budget - $50,000 (includes furniture, repaint the house & flooring); Reviews - Our experience was Peggy was extremely pleasant. Peggy is delightful, down-to-heart and is exceptional in her design taste. During our first phone interview (I was deciding between 3 designers), I had shared with her that I would like to paint my my living room and kitchen white - with the objective to open and brighten the space up. Right away, she emphasised the importance of picking the 'right shade' of white. Too white - could make the house too cold, and too much like a museum. Off white - may defeat the purpose of open space illusion. I knew right then that I wanted to work with her. She also talked about the importance of craftsmanship in picking the right constructors. It will not only enhance the functionality of the design, but in the long run increase the house's resale value. Giving that we had absolutely NO idea on how and what to look for in constructors, Peggy's help was invaluable. Peggy had an army of amazing contractors -- we couldn't be happier with the outcome of their work on my paint, and the flooring. Peggy's strength is also in her simple, modern design approach. The recommendations she had on the the furniture was on point with what we were looking for (and we were picky!) They were classy and sophisticated; modern with distintive personality. She is also amazing with her spacing arrangement -- she shared with us that its all about 'spacing arrangement to create the illusion of a wide open space'. For example, our kitchen island, we were so sure that we would want it placed horizontally in our space, but Peggy opened our minds up to have it placed vertically. And it drastically opened our kitchen up. Amazing on what little things to make such a big difference. Lastly, a project wouldn't be successful with the proper budgeting, the initial shopping list exceeded almost 50% on our budget, which we were quiet shocked. However, Peggy's approach was to start big; the emphasis should initially be more on "design"; she shared "once you have the overall look, then you can pick and choose whats important and look for more affordable versions if needed)". It turned out to be an extremely helpful exercise. After a series of back and forth, Peggy was able to help us trim the fat and find affordable alternatives to meet our budget. Overall, we would definitely recommend Peggy. She is invaluable in making our 'baby' beautiful!

I have asked advice to Peggy Dupuis about a kitchen to be built in a completely renewed flat in Paris. She made a 3D map, explaining how it would be convenient to arrange the different pieces of the kitchen, like a triangle, how to take advantage of all the space. I knew the other projects she made in Paris and California and really liked them. She works fast and has good ideas, knowing how to get designed products from reasonnable priced sites.

I liked the communication and respect from Dupuis while working with her. She had great communication with the whole group and was in agreement with how we started and finished the job. I also recognized her knowledge in high quality paint products and it was my whole pleasure to work with Dupuis.

Peggy Dupuis helped me on two projects: backyard/spa design elements and a 3-room teenage girls bedrooms/TV room. My small backyard had already been designed on plan, but the finishes were not yet chosen. I was having difficulty finding the right materials and I knew that the design concept was right, it just needed refinement to make it right. Peggy provided both. She tweaked the design of the spa, the firepit conversation area and the side yard to perfection. Then she worked with me and gave me a selection of finish choices that fit my taste perfectly. Everyone who has seen my yard says it is so beautifully designed: so elegant, useable and peaceful! She also transformed my 15-year old twin daughters' rooms into a modern, yet playful living space. We put the bulk of the money into the floors, lighting fixtures, cabinetry and bathrooms. Peggy suggested many pieces of furniture that were economically priced yet fit the theme perfectly. The now white rooms are related yet individualized to each girls' tastes and the TV room is a perfect blend of white and color to mirror both their personalities. I could never have done the rooms this way and am grateful for her design knowledge and taste.

Working with Peggy at Dupuis Design was delightful, her attention to detail made my job of providing automated window treatments and custom lighting control very easy. Peggy has been so amazing to work with - she was extremely good at incorporating many of my existing ideas into the overall design. She has worked on multiple rooms within my home, as well as my daughter's nursery. We had been working on our small (720 sq foot) apartment in Paris for several years and already had the renovation and remodeling done before we met Peggy. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms and most of the living room all looked great thanks to help from a fine and talented decorator from Boston but it just got too difficult for us to complete this project long distance.. We were stuck getting out of the gate for the final lap.Peggy immediately saw the problem, especially in the living room where our attempts to become eclectic had resulted in a bit of a mish-mash.She helped with the furniture and coordinated our ideas for fabrics for the two bedrooms .An American on the ground who is fluent in French and knows her way around Paris is a huge asset.. She has solid connections w/ the local merchants and an inexpensive seamstress . How to describe Peggy's decorating style? "Caliparisien" come to mind. We did not want to create an American's idea of what a French apartment should be, with chintz and shafts of wheat. We wanted something a little edgy and fun but still with a few old French pieces. What else to say? Peggy has been absolutely terrific to work with. Tirelessly coming up with ideas for furniture to compliment what we already had (remember the living room mish-mash). Before discovering Peggy from Dupuis Design, my experience with 2 prior "designers" was disappointing. First of all, Peggy is a pro. She understands how use layout to maximize views, while making certain the design fits the intended use. She redesigned our decks that we rarely used for the 12 years prior. Now they are a fun and comfortable place to hang out with friends and enjoy the formerly under appreciated ocean views. One of her best attributes is her ability to creatively modify relatively inexpensive decor and furniture and select only a few more expensive impact pieces to provide an overall luxurious feel to the space. Also, Peggy has a great attitude - she is professional and kind. Don't let her quiet disposition fool you - she is a tireless, fast, humble, and talented worker, who thankfully agreed to decorate the rest of our home, based on her incredible job with our decks.
