Michelle Durpetti has an amazing eye for what a room needs. Whether you have an idea in mind or are at a loss for which direction to go, she is the perfect designer for all projects. Her attention to detail and her ability to incorporate your preferences into a project is such a gift.

As a real estate broker we have relied on Durpetti Interior's exquisite taste in our eclectic City of Asheville! She integrates beautiful high-end textiles with imported features such as African Mud cloth accents to create an environment that people want to be in. We could go on and on about how she does not have just one pair of eyes for the project that she is working on. She finds a way to use resources that are exactly what the client is looking for in their budget. We love that she mixes antiques with new furnishings in a way that we could have never imagined ourselves. She is a true pioneer in her profession and an absolute joy to work with!

Ms. Durpetti was able to work with foundational decisions I had made before contacting her and blended them into a beautiful, multi-room, functional plan. The project included a walk-through galley kitchen, entryway, and powder room in the center of the home connecting to two major living spaces. The area is open to both spaces and required a design plan that brought continuity to the open floor plan. She incorporated unique elements for just the right amount of drama and focus, such as a wonderful kitchen backsplash, lighting, and striking bathroom wall covering. Ms. Durpetti worked within my budget and provided valuable assistance with the innumerable choices that needed to be made. She worked within the deadlines and was flexible with the input I received from my contractor. If I were to take on another project of this size, I would contact her at the very beginning of the project.

We hired Durpetti Interiors to help remodel the master bathroom. Michelle from Durpetti Interiors was very professional and has great taste. She listens to customer needs and requests, checks with customer for suggestions and approval; and turns the idea and design to a reality! Love her work and loved the end result. Our bathroom is now one of our favorite rooms!!

I would like to express the most fabulous, fulfilling & enjoyable experience working with Michelle Durpetti. Not only did Michelle peg my style instantly, she then turned my 1 BR condo into a gorgeous, romantic & inviting home. When I enter my foyer, by myself or with guests, the creative style receives comfort, warmth & my personality. Michelle has the ability to bring your personal style out from photographs, memoirs, color, print & textures. Michelle even used my cowboy boots to decorate! Michelle is completely "hands-on". She stained, reupholstered & made many projects her own. This was my first time using an interior designer and I hit the jackpot. Michelle remained within my budget, is punctual and works at a swift pace. I would highly recommend this talented gem to anybody! She was intuitive in assessing my personal style, presenting me with options for colors and fabrics that worked with what I thought I wanted in addition to other ideas that would be compatible. I have seen first hand the amazing things that Michelle can create to bring in that perfect atmosphere.
