Cheryl delivered and met every expectation; turning my primary bedroom into a cultured retreat and our kitchen eat-in area a space the family enjoys to gather. We used Dwell by Cheryl to decorate our sunroom. We are delighted with the results! We needed to seat seven in a small space and we wanted it to be bright and cheerful. Cheryl and Jenn met those goals within budget and with flair. The Dwell by Cheryl team was a pleasure to work with because of their professionalism, great listening, response to questions, sense of humor, promptness and interior design knowledge. Cheryl did little things like bring fresh flowers or send handwritten notes on colorful stationery. Those gestures made me feel special as a client. That they completed our project during the height of Covid-19 in our state, with no hiccups, further illustrates their talent. Reveal day was exciting and like winning a big prize. Dwell by Cheryl will be my choice again for beautiful décor and a beautiful experience.

We reached out to Cheryl to do an exterior "refresh" for our brick colonial home. Cheryl and Jenn did an amazing job with the whole project, but my favorite moment was the project presentation. I knew we'd made the right decision when she presented the design plan.... it was PERFECTION. Somehow they'd captured exactly what we envisioned even when we couldn't accurately describe it. Then they made it happen. We could not be happier with Cheryl and her team (and our new exterior)!

So pleased! Cheryl and her team helped us with laying the foundation for the future design of our new home. We had purchased a new home and were renovating it. Engaging Cheryl before we moved in was the best decision. She consulted and recommended wall paint colors for our entire home, and stain colors for the wood floors that could serve as a foundation for design choices in the future. We also were challenged in choosing light fixtures for our open concept home with vaulted ceilings. Cheryl and her team presented a lighting package beyond our dreams. From selection to installation - the entire process went smoothly with regular communication throughout. We are thrilled with how everything turned out and get compliments from visiting family and friends. We cannot wait to work with her again. The three things I said I needed a designer for were: 1) completing the room; 2) sourcing the furniture; 3) blending me and my partners' styles. She. Nailed Each. One. This was an opportunity that we never seriously considered. With all the free design services offered at home furnishing stores, it seemed like frivolity to pay for an interior designer. We had multiple people, from multiple different stores come to the home. We’d even purchased items based off of sketches they proposed. At the end of the day, however, our most pressing needs for the bedroom were never addressed; we didn’t really love the way our space looked; we had bits and pieces but couldn’t agree on anchoring pieces that would bring the space to a point of completion. SO we just lived in a room with a bed, a too-small rug, too small side tables, a ginormous tv, a cool but unnecessary bench, and a nursery chair. When Cheryl saw the room, she said we lived in a white box that was ripe for character. The biggest issue my husband and I faced was that we couldn’t agree on anything firmly enough to commit to buying it. The things we did end up buying ( and spending a lot of money on) wound up never working. Upon Cheryl’s design presentations she could see we were decision-ally-challenged. She patiently worked with us. I’d done enough research on her to give her my trust, but I was nervous. 1) We had just purchased furniture; 2) hiring a designer was a financial decision we didn’t want to turn out poorly ;3) swatches and sketches in isolation did not truly reflect her vision ; and 4) we didn’t really know how to communicate what we actually liked. Nevertheless, we moved forward. What most struck me was how she and her assistant took note of what we already had in the house to get a sense of our character ( which I imagine was also like pulling teeth). She worked with our budget and even got creative with our resources. She listened to our needs and made them work. What she was careful to note, however, was that we hired her for a reason. To really make our dreams come to fruition, we had to trust her and acknowledge the investment. Words cannot begin to describe the way we felt on reveal day. We were literally HGTV reveal participants. We were astounded by our finished master bedroom. Utterly amazed. The fabrics, the sketches, even the install of the chandelier the day before the full reveal did nothing to prepare us for the magnificence we walked into. Not only was our room beautiful, but it was so us. Fully representative of our style. Colors, decor, everything. It was even personal. Personal photos, books that spoke directly to our interests, fabrics that acknowledged the presence of young children in our home, and elegant luxury that made the bedroom feel special. This was a worthy investment. I can’t wait to have Cheryl complete the rest of my home.

Cheryl and her team EXCEEDED ALL expectation and blew me away. Having met me one time for initial consultation, she nailed my style and my personality for my home office design. Completely professional from beginning to end of execution. Well communicated throughout with expectations laid out. I literally fell to the floor during my reveal from having my breath taken away from the beauty of the space.

Cheryl and her team by far exceeded my expectations with my project. I have a one year old and I just wanted a functional, sexy adult entertaining space to unwind at night, entertain friends and just feel like I "arrived" as an adult home owner. I wanted my space to feel "grown and sexy" and not look like a toddler had taken over. She provided function and sophistication. I have loads of stylish storage and seating for at least 15+ guest without feeling overcrowded in the space. I would hire Cheryl and her team without hesitation for future projects. She delivered her design in a timely fashion and met all deadlines promised. I love going home at night to this space.

I hired Cheryl for a 3 room project. She did an excellent job. She had the hard task of making 2 different styles work together. I would definitely recommend for her creativity, passion, and professionalism.

Cheryl and her assistant, Jenn did a beautiful job making my new house a home. Through just a few initial conversations, Cheryl heard all of my needs (from making the furniture kid-friendly to paying attention to some of my cultural requests) and design style and exceeded my expectations on reveal day! I trusted her to have some freedom in choosing some of the furniture pieces to be able to stay within my budget and it paid off. Everything she chose was amazing. I do not live locally but Cheryl and Jenn made several trips to my house to make sure I was satisfied, this meant a lot to me! These special ladies are talented and genuine. I am so happy that I found them through a recommendation from a friend. I love walking into my beautiful home every day!

Cheryl helped me realize my dream of having a home that’s like walking into a magazine. She took my minimal desire for light and airy and turned it into maximum style.
