Working with Eco-Modernism has been a very positive experience for me and my clients! I have a large need for clean lined modern cabinetry that is good quality yet also affordable and Eco-Modernism has been a fantastic resource filling this important niche (as most other modern cabinetry is priced sky high). The cabinets provided by Becky and her team are great looking with tons of finish options that allow customization. She works hard to find affordable solutions for each client and always has an excellent, friendly attitude with everyone she works with. I will continue to recommend her and her team to my clients!

I wanted a kitchen and bath remodel with a contemporary focus. After meeting with Becky I knew she was the one to design the layout and cabinets. She had fantastic ideas and immediately grasped the concept of what I wanted. Her ability to coordinate wtih my building contractor and other subs went smoothly and I am more than satisfied with the results.

Provided kitchen design and cabinets. They really did a great job designing the kitchen and making it work for both myself (modern) and my wife (retro). The finished product is just amazing.

Becky is a great kitchen designer! Without changing the square footage of our small 1950’s kitchen, she thought of a layout change we would never have come up with on our own, and it made all the difference. She was easy to work with, understanding our emotional connection to a butcher-block worktable that we wanted to keep, even though it meant less space for base cabinets. Six years after our remodel, we still love our kitchen!

Becky did a fantastic job helping us completely renovate our kitchen in 2011. With her guidance and expertise we converted our space into what we really need: our "breakfast nook" became a mini playroom zone for our small children, our folding door pantry became a window seat with IKEA drawers below and cabinets high above, and our dead-end L shaped kitchen became a galley with plenty of room for two cooks. We love our three seater "sushi bar" for guests to keep the cook company. Becky was so considerate during the massive renovation, she kept our cat, Oscar, happy and even cleaned his LITTER BOX (!) which we really appreciated. We brought Becky back into our house in 2012 to install cabinets in our mudroom too. Becky doesn't need any micromanagement. You tell her your goal and your vision and she helps you find a way. As a designer, that's what we needed from her. We couldn't have had a better, quicker process without her experience and committment. She clearly loves what she does.

Becky designed and coordinated a complete renovation for our kitchen. The overall experience was excellent. The design tremendously improved the functionality and appearance of the room, and her knowledge of the cabinets used really made everything fit perfectly. She kept track of the contractor's progress throughout the project to ensure it was completed in a timely manner. When hitches happened they were addressed promptly and successfully. We'd definitely recommend Becky to anyone wanting a new kitchen but not wanting to spend an exorbitant amount of money on the project.

My husband and I had originally selected a different contractor (before we knew Eco-modernism existed) and we just didn't feel like we were a good match. We didn't feel what we wanted was being attended to...nor the ideas we suggested. I researched more and more and found Becky. Thank goodness! She is amazing to work with and her team as well. They kept me in the loop on everything being done and what we were waiting on and the whole project. We love our kitchen and couldn't be happier with the results. Becky Shankle and her team from EcoModernism designed and installed the kitchen in our whole house renovation. I am a design enthusiast and Becky listened carefully to all my aesthetic goals and was able to apply them to the space in question. Becky excels at the practical! She is also very communicative and gave me constant updates regarding timeframe and costs. As the kitchen (which had been the garage) was part of a full house renovatation, Becky also had to play well with others. She did that admirably as well as whipping some of the men into shape. I could not have done it without her and the kitchen is my favorite part of the house.
