I worked with Christopher on a new design for my small condo kitchen. His passion for his work was immediately apparent, the initial design concept came back to me very quickly and I was in love it! We worked through a few iterations and options, and though I didn't have a large budget to work with he had excellent options to modify and look at different appliance and materials options to keep costs down. Ultimately I decided not go forward with the project, only because my plans changes and I will be moving soon. I would highly recommend Eco Urban Design for any of your home remodeling needs.

Worst experience ever. I'm so traumatized by the horrendous job that was done that I still haven't hired another contractor to fix what they never finished, and it's been two years.

After moving to the Denver area a short time ago, I began attending design discussion seminars to begin networking with professionals. It is at one of these that I ran into Christopher Topp and was impressed with his projects (both finished and on-going). Our personalities meshed so well that I then contracted with eco urban to provide a fresh mid-century take on my Harvey Park home built in 1955. I was apprehensive to remove the original kitchen but from the first visit, Chris's enthusiasm for the space's potential was apparent. I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with the results. Solid quartz countertops with chrome flecks, period correct appliances, and a shag runner. Bringing my concerns into a new light of gratefulness for convincing me to push forward with the design. Need I say more? I couldn't be happier with a kitchen that reflects contemporary functionalism and period correct aesthetic appeal. iPhone pictures are an insult to its appeal--I'll post professional pictures soon! Christopher Topp and his crew completed work on two bathroom remodels for our Washington Park bungalow. The work was of high caliber. We appreciated his design skills. His expertise enabled us to have a wonderful final product. Good job!

Chris has a great sense of style and practical skills that helped move my remodel along. I will attach photos at some point in time, but I wanted to share the review while it is fresh in my mind. He urged me to consider choices different from what I originally chose, and I am so pleased that he did. As a result I have cabinetry that is wonderful, much more modern looking counter tops than I originally envisioned, beautiful, unique tile, and fabulous lighting. His strength was in narrowing down my choices so that I didn't feel overwhelmed. He spent a lot of time looking at light fixtures, for example, and then sent me about ten possible choices. Likewise, we didn't get bogged down on paint color, he already knew what color palette was going to work and just steered me in the right direction. I wanted to be in my new kitchen for Thanksgiving and he was mindful of making sure I made it on time.

Chris is a solution oriented contractor. He works to solve the problem and make the client happy. It is a pleasure to work with him.

We hired eco urban to perform a full renovation of early 1900s home including a pop-top 2nd floor addition. Our goals included open living spaces, preservation of the history feel of the home and a mixture of modern amenities in the kitchen and bath areas and Chris & Scott at eco urban did a great job of turning our vague desires into something tangible and beautiful. They gutted nearly our entire home but took the time to preserve original woodwork and other nuances and find replacement matches where necessary. They also kept us in the loop throughout, providing budgetary feedback and information on a regular basis and soliciting our opinions whenever a decision on scope needed to be made. Any budgetary scope increases were well known to us and consciously agreed upon. I think one of the best parts of our experience was working with them through the mixture of structural decision making and interior and exterior design. They understood our time limitations with two small kids and did their best to facilitate the decision making process by providing great starting points and taking our feedback to change course when necessary. In the end, our home feels perfect and looks beautiful. They did custom woodwork throughout to extend the existing old wood builtins and flooring seamlessly, they built a killer deck and pergola, they created awesome areas for our kids, they made the living spaces amazingly warm and welcoming and they made the house look and feel as if it had always been that way, which was super important to us. Eco urban did a great job on our basement remodel. We added a bedroom with closet and egress window. We also did some miscellaneous updates in the basement. Chris was excellent in terms of preparing a clear bid/estimate. It was thorough and priced reasonably. In the end, he actually removed a couple of items that we didn't need - without our asking him to. I've never had a contractor do that before! Scott was awesome as the general contractor. He oversaw a variety of subcontractors and really kept things on track to meet our tight deadline. He also does some of the carpentry himself and works super fast and professionally. He also took care of the final punch-list, promptly. I would highly recommend eco urban design for remodeling.
