About Us

Eddie Lee opened Eddie Lee Inc. in 2005 after working for 10 years with famed designer Greg Jordan. The firm's projects range from modern to traditional, and are often a fusion of both. Lee works throughout the U.S., with numerous projects in New York City and the Hamptons. The projects range from large scale collaborations with architects on construction projects to the decoration of existing spaces. Lee maintains that any successful interior must start from a solid furniture plan. He then designs custom pieces, sources antiques, vintage pieces, great artwork and accessories to layer in. “Even the most complete plan must leave room for spontaneity. The best rooms have unexpected elements of glamor, surprise or whimsy.” This freedom in Lee's work comes from the down to earth and lively atmosphere he cultivates in his firm. Lee's designs are unique to each client and are as rewarding to work on as they are to live in.

Eddie has worked as my designer on 4 projects now: the renovation and decoration of 3 apartments in Manhattan, and the construction and decoration of a house in Fire Island, New York. In each project, Eddie worked with me to oversee the work of the general contractor; in two jobs Eddie oversaw the work of the architect and provided feedback on the architectural designs. Two apartments involved gut renovations, and the house was built from the ground up. Eddie and I have known each other for many years, so he has a good sense of my style and did a tremendous job of proposing design/décor that fits with that style, and worked with me closely on budget, etc. I was extremely pleased with the process and outcome in each! I can't recommend him highly enough! (note the dates/cost ranges below are for the most recent job, my current NYC apartment.)

Eddie Lee Inc. designed and installed my beautiful New York City apartment. This was my first time using a designer and Eddie listened closely to my needs and desires and guided me through the entire process. Eddie showed me possibilities I would never have considered that I ended up LOVING! Eddie and his team did some minor construction, installed new floors, did a plan for wall coverings, drapes, furniture,art and (using some of the favorite things I owned as well as finding and buying beautiful new things). His completed the project on time and on budget! I LOVED Eddie's work
