ABOUT: Elizabeth Interiors is an award-winning full-service interior design firm that works in the Hampton Roads area and beyond. We specialize in both residential and commercial interior design. MY APPROACH: The spaces that speak to me are the ones not over designed but unmistakably deliberate...like being outside...natural, uncomplicated and inviting. These are the spaces that are well-appointed, magnificent and begging to be lived in. With this design goal in mind, I believe in a consultative approach to your design project. Working together, we will discover what you are passionate about and what fires your imagination. A year and a half ago we were looking for help with a total remodeling and decorating project for a 22 year old house. We were also 530 miles away from our newly purchased retirement home. While searching Houzz, we found Elizabeth Interiors. What a total delight! Elizabeth and her team worked with us to create the design, helped source and buy certain pieces, materials and retained the specialists to totally redesign and decorate the entire home. She transformed each and every room. She worked with us to keep our style while gently convincing us to consider alternatives. Of course, her recommendations were absolutely amazing. All along, she and the entire team kept in touch with us through fast response emails as well as face to face consultations. Excellent is all we can say. Elizabeth is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and ever work with. We were so blessed she agreed to take on our retirement home. We absolutely love our home and Elizabeth! This is our second time relying on Elizabeth's expertise to help transform our house into a home and we would do it again in a heartbeat. She has the ability to understand what we want and who we are even if we don't know how to communicate it. She delivers a superior solution where her attention to detail shows the amount of time she has spent thinking of how we will live in the space and the features that will be most important. We made this project more difficult by asking for rooms designed with an 8 and 4 year-old in mind and she was able to deliver a design that looks like it came out of a magazine, but with materials designed to withstand crayon, marker, and apple sauce. She is dependable and responsive and is honestly just as excited (if not more) about your new space as you are.

Elizabeth is an incredibly talented designer. She designed a large remodel project including a family room, dining room, foyer, home office, sunroom and kitchen. She put together design boards for each room including fabrics, paint colors, floor coverings, furniture, lighting and accessory options. She accompanied us to meetings with our contractor and to the stone yard. Elizabeth listened to our ideas, took in consideration how our family lives in our home and then developed a plan that far exceeded our expectations.

We purchase new construction in an active living retirement community in Williamsburg. With a few color swatches and a piece of pottery as inspiration Elizabeth was able to bring to life to an entire house of furniture and decor that was our dream. Worked with Elizabeth to pick new furniture, paint colors, slipcovers, design layouts, and lighting fixtures when I moved to a townhouse. She is extremely easy to work with and listens to what you want . She is respectful of your budget and project timeline . She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my final choices.
