Elizabeth Strianese Interiors was the designer and project manager for the top-to-bottom renovation of our midcentury modern home and, to cut to the chase, we're thrilled with the end result. Liz and her team are that magical blend of technical excellence, impeccable style, the highest integrity, and truly exceptional client care. Her ability to understand our vision and elevate it exceeded our expectations. Throughout the project, Liz maintained open and timely communication, ensuring we were always informed. Her creative and skillful approach quickly resolved whatever issues arose, and she meticulously saw every detail through to completion. Her talent and dedication shine throughout our home. We wouldn't hesitate to work with her again on any future project.

Liz worked with us on a building/design project literally from the ground up. Our retirement home, in the end, was a dream come true. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted, but Liz in her gentle way and while fully respecting our ideas and attachments, encouraged us to "think outside our box". We could never have imagined a more perfect outcome: A home where we know we will be comfortable living for the duration - with spaces for us to pursue our individual hobbies, where we are able to entertain (as is our passion) from 2 to 50, and well suited for lots of overnight guests and grandchildren. The best part is that the process felt like a team effort - Liz, her wonderful staff, our builder and us. It was so exciting to see each room come together with Liz by our side every step of the way. In addition to being smart, organized and responsive, she has impeccable taste and wonderful resources. She is a real gem.

Over the last 12 years, we have had the great fortune to work with Elizabeth Strianese Interiors on a number of truly unique projects. Liz brings her breadth of knowledge of interiors and architecture, honed perspective, and willingness to push the boundaries of a design to all of her work. As fabricators, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to work on incredible projects with such a talented designer!

We have absolutely loved working with Liz and are so happy with how our house has been transformed from top to bottom. Before our project started, we searched for local designers on Houzz and found Liz because we liked the pictures of her projects. After speaking with Liz as well as several other designers (some of whom were highly recommended by friends), we felt the strongest connection with Liz and had a real sense that she understood what we were looking for and could make it happen. Our project was large. A major renovation of almost the entire house including the kitchen and all bathrooms. Along the way there have been so many choices, decisions, discussions, and unexpected challenges (from the house, not Liz). Throughout, Liz has been on top of *everything*. She has consistently remembered small details that even we have forgotten. Liz helped us find contractors (who have all been fantastic) and she has worked closely with them to ensure that everything stayed on track and came out exactly as planned. Our house has completely surpassed all of our expectations. We can't thank Liz enough for encouraging us to take risks, pushing us to go outside our comfort zone at times, and still ensuring that our design choices stayed practical and timeless. We would unequivocally recommend Liz to anyone.

I hired Liz Strianese because I loved the job she did at the Roundhouse in Beacon. She designed my totally gutted industrial 1500 sq ft loft with rooftop. I can’t say enough that’s super positive about Liz!! We worked together for over two years and it was the greatest pleasure and such a gift to have such an incredibly talented, gifted, intelligent present, caring and 200% reliable designer!!. Liz totally got me and ran with my ideas as they would pop up in my head, like designing an open 2 bedroom 2 bath loft with no walls or doors, except for some privacy for the guest bathroom. I wanted it to be green, nontoxic and eco friendly. Liz researched every detail and her choices in floor plan, lighting, a/v, walls, floors, furnishing were all perfect!!! She knocked it out of the park, as everyone else also who has seen her work says!!! She also took the stress out of the massive renovation job and actually made it fun and secure for me. Not many can say that when they are designing a gutted space. Liz understood my taste even before I did. She makes it easy to relax and trust her choices. I can’t tecommnd her enough!! We hired Strianese+Pew after finding them on Houzz and looking through their website. They had the design sensibility we were looking for and after meeting with Liz and Paula, we determined they were the right design firm for our project. We found working with S+P to be easy and joyful, they were professional and responsive to our schedule,input, and budget. The design talent they have made choosing from the different design options they presented us very difficult, because it was all so wonderful. The communication with them was always friendly and positive. We are very happy with how our project turned out, how the process carried forth, and with S+P as a firm.

Came across article about Liz Strianese looking thru old Inspired House magazine. I really liked her design philosophy and had a good feeling about her. And she was local! A lot of her clients are high end, but my husband and I having a limited budget was not a problem. I like good design and working with her was fun-she would take my suggestions and steer me in the right direction. We always seemed to be on the same wavelength. LIz is the best, so professional, knowledgeable and creative. I would highly recommend her for any project.

Liz is bar none the most talented designer our company has ever worked with. Her professionalism, organization, and her ability to work with any type of home and client is incredible! My contractor, whom I've worked with on multiple projects, recommended Liz for my upcoming kitchen renovation. He felt that we would be a good match of personalities. Was he ever right! Liz is a true professional, however, and I suspect she would work well with anyone. There are many qualities I admire in Liz, but very important to me, she is thorough, timely and conscientious. Liz was hired to redecorate our country home in Carmel, NY. She was asked to consider all elements, including wall paper, paint, carpeting and/or refinish floors, curtains, lighting fixtures. She was also asked to largely coordinate with existing furniture. Here are some highlights: 1. Liz is incredibly professional, responsible, trustworthy, and responsive 2. Liz stuck to our agreed upon budget, and was clear about expenses as they developed 3. Liz was flexible and respectful of requests to work within certain design parameters (e.g. keeping furniture, yet developing a consistent design with color and pattern) and was able to adapt when our design vision did not necessarily match hers. 4. Liz arranged for high quality work/craftsmen and was capable of managing the entire project. For me this is the biggest compliment I can give since I tend to find most work to be sloppy or without attention to detail and this was not the case with Liz! I fully trusted her to manage the work in my absence. 5. Liz communicated clearly and gave regular updates on progress including photos and emails with detailed information 6. Liz provided clear presentations of design proposals In the few small instances the work was not exactly as we had hoped for expected, Liz was able to offer solutions to rectify the problem.

We had the pleasure of working with Liz Strianese of ESI to design the interiors of both our Hudson Valley home and our Manhattan apartment. I am a modernist, whereas my husband leans more toward the traditional, so we brought to these projects a desire to work with someone who we could trust to expertly guide us within our taste and budget parameters, yet also collaborate with us in bringing to life homes rich with design that is current and inventive, yet classic, and most of all uniquely reflective of us. Liz accomplished all of that! She took the time to really get to know us, how we live, and how we want to use our living space, before presenting us with ideas about what we might want to change or create. Liz is highly skilled in both design and construction. She effectively implemented changes in areas that needed to be transformed structurally, and she designed furniture for us when we could not find exactly what we wanted to achieve our unique vision. Liz was not only professional in every sense . . . attentive, responsive, respectful, and reliable, but she was fun to work with!

We reached out to Liz after learning she worked on the design for The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY - a place we love. We're decorating a new home and Liz came and saw the house, asked about our interests and tastes and then worked with us to come up with a budget. She is wonderful to work with - not only a great personality, but she presents us with various options for the rooms we are working on and is open to our input so we find pieces that work for our family. She has great taste and ideas and has come up with some beautiful solutions for us, including a custom kitchen table that we (and all our guests) love. She genuinely wants us to be happy with the final design - it's a real partnership. It was a leap of faith for us to engage a designer and we couldn't be happier.

We just completed a big renovation project on our older home. When the designers we hired turned out not to be right for us, we turned to Houzz. Thankfully, we found Liz who jumped right in and saved our project! We were on a tight schedule and she worked tirelessly to help us find the finishes that updated our home while respecting its bones. She listened to what we wanted and she delivered more than we could have dreamed of! Elizabeth Strianese Interiors specified ModCraft's RoundHouse Tile (originally made specifically for this project) for the luxury suites baths on The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls, in Beacon NY Liz was instrumental is specifying furnishings and finishes as well as coordinating the many detailed construction aspects of the entire project. While developing fluid relationships with all various contractors and vendors, she was able to create a vision with the owners of the Roundhouse and bring it to full realization.
