I hired Iris to give me guidance on paint colors for my home. She was prompt to respond to my emails and calls and arrived on time for our appointment, which I very much appreciated. She listens carefully to what you say, but also does her best to mesh your ideas with the decor already there so the effect is seamless. A big plus for me was the stream of decorating suggestions she made to improve the look and function of the rooms. By the end of our meeting, I had a lot of exciting ideas to move forward with.

We hired Iris as our Project manager/Designer for a Master bath/bedroom renovation. The house was 29 years old and I had never had a bathtub, which I was desperate for! I found the perfect free-standing gorgeous tub, and then asked Iris to design the bathroom around it. Not the conventional way to do things we found out, but Iris rose to the occasion and designed the most amazing bathroom for us. She handled all the contractors, guided us through product choices, colors, and decisions as we went along. The project took longer than I would have liked but we are beyond thrilled with the results. We hope to maintain our relationship with Iris going into the future, as we now see that the rest of the house really needs updating as well. You will not go wrong with Iris Interiors- absolutely fantastic services, with a smile and a great sense of humor.

We are getting ready to paint our new house and have been looking at "builder white" walls for the past 12 months. I was overwhelmed with picking a full house color pallet that would look beautiful, modern, and flow well throughout the house but not require significant updating over the years. Iris was able to come to my house and provide excellent expertise for the entire home as a consultant. She didn't push a color pallet on me, but rather let me provide overall guidance on colors I wanted and then she put together a full pallet that covered every room in our house (even an NFL themed basement!). I am so pleased with the results and have a beautiful paint pallet for my home that I can now execute room by room. I would definitely recommend Iris for any interior consulting project, she was a pleasure to work with and her experience/knowledge as well as her patience were great!

Iris @ Iris Interiors gave me so many great ideas about where to incorporate 'our old things' into 'our new home.' In our new home, moving things around everything looks perfect. Iris came to see our new home and visited my old home so she could get a sense of US. Iris guided me to a fantastic Reupholsterer after we selected fabric, who transformed my parents 60+ yr old wing chairs into beauties. I also am using my parents 60+ yr old end tables in my living room after getting them cleaned and polished. I knew I would use them some day and Iris helped me place them perfectly. She also recommended using my 45 yr old bedroom dresser under the hanging TV. It looks perfect there. I am totally pleased and happy that I hired Iris. Still a few more projects to tackle and I know Iris will be there for me when we're ready. I highly recommend Iris Interiors.

She focused on the story and personality of your home and uses your unique tastes and preferences to bring your environment to life and make it work for YOU in amazing ways. She's consulted on our living room, home set-up, and bedroom, and has never let us down. For us, she recommended a rustic yet urban/modern/edgy style (with pops of color) that plays really well in our Brooklyn apartment. Most importantly, Iris is down-to-earth, so friendly, and gets that design doesn't only mean buying expensive or lofty pieces -- but incorporating what you have into a comfortable, sleek and functional look that represents your lifestyle. After a few phone conversations Iris was able to understand our style and what we wanted to achieve with our space. She had many suggestions on what we could do to finish our DC home with some of our current furnishings as well as some new pieces that she helped pick out. Iris was wonderful to work with-not only is she super talented, but also down to earth, creative, open-minded, practical, and very knowledgeable. Iris spent several days with us picking out several different pieces for our home. She understood exactly what we wanted and our home is now a beautiful reflection of our style. Iris Interiors provided me with a color consultation. Iris truly went above and beyond. We were a little scarred after choosing the wrong paint colors in the past. I was having a hard time pulling everything together and developing a color scheme. I had a short deadline and she was able to give me feedback quickly. She was so nice and knowledgeable. She just took a thousand pound weight off of my shoulders. I can't thank her enough.
