After a plumbing disaster in our home, I have had the pleasure of working with Alex Whitman to put the pieces of our house back together and to make it better than it was before. I don't have much of a design eye and feel overwhelmed by all the choices in color, texture, and style. Alex made it easy and fun. She got to know my style and then gave me a small number of options to choose from. When something was not quite right, she stayed and worked through it with me. I love the result! We hired Ellis Design Studio to help with the interior design decisions in building a new house. The designers in their office work together as a team and our main designer, Alex, has been exceptional to work with. She is happy, energetic, timely and filled with great ideas. Alex really listens to what we want and comes up with ideas to really give our house the 'wow factor' we are after. Alex is great at picking out paint colors, tile, carpet and furniture and really has a way of bringing it all together so it looks perfect. She is also budget conscious which makes my husband happy. We could never have pulled this together on our own and could not be happier with Ellis Design Studio!

Diana Ellis designs incredible interiors. Let's just get that out of the way. She is also an accomplished listener who takes her clients' desires and turns them into reality and a an out of the box thinker who is willing to go wherever her clients' imaginations may roam. AS VP of Sales and Marketing with Metropolitan Homes, I worked with her on multiple projects that ranged from condos to million dollar villas and each time, she created one of a kind, stunning and memorable homes. Ellis Hays Designs is a significant reason why we selected the new home we purchased back in April 2013. My husband and I took one step into a model home that Diana Ellis and her team had designed and were sold . . . not only on the floor plan, but equally on the design and décor. We worked with Diana throughout the build of our new home on all aspects of the design, where she brilliantly blended the different style preferences of my husband and I from the color palette, to flooring options, to furniture, to window treatments, to lighting . . . literally every detail down to the grout. Ellis Hays' operates with the highest level of professionalism, and is well connected and coordinates with amazing 3rd parties to assist in completion of projects (electricians, painters, contractors, etc.). With her knowledge, talent, guidance, and patience on all things big or small, Diana took the stress out of designing a home. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had as a family, and continue to enjoy the end result on a daily basis. Ellis Hays Designs has since done a similar project with my father, and we will again be enlisting their help on our basement project. I cannot say enough positive about Diana and her team, and recommend Ellis Hays Design for any of your design/décor projects.
