We purchased a 1960's ranch in 2018 and renovated the entire interior. I get easily lost in color and the huge amount of choices out there when it comes to finishes, but Emily listened to what I was looking for and was great in helping to focus our design. She gently pushed me outside my box and I could not be happier, never thought I would have wallpaper in my house but it looks fabulous and we have gotten so many compliments. She was able to help us create a unique but cohesive flow and was instrumental in making our house a home. I would highly recommend hiring Emily June Designs!

What an amazing experience with Emily! When our house was flooded and we had to redesign, redecorate, and refurnish our entire home, we hired Emily and it was the best thing that we could have done. She took into account our budget and our lifestyle - small ranch house with two kids and a dog - and turned our little disaster into a beautiful, comfortable home again that is better than before. She got to know our aesthetic and decisions were easy because her ideas were right on target. Once we finished our house - we decided to add on the the design of our backyard kitchen and patio and we had the same wonderful experience - a modern design that integrates seamlessly with the house. Last summer, we decided to undertake the redesign of two bedrooms - transitioning them from boy's rooms to more stylish guest rooms. Our powder room also needed a major refresh. The final project involved the installation of over 1,000 sq. ft. of hardwood floors, and the refinishing of existing floors to match, the demolition of built-in desks and shelves in the two bedrooms, new cabinetry and extensive wallpaper, paint and trim work . It was my great fortune to find Emily June Designs on Houzz.com. Emily was a perfect fit for the job. She and her team are extremely organized, with wonderful craftsmen to call upon and, most importantly, her vision for the different elements of the job lined up very nicely with mine. After looking at my Ideabooks, she crafted a proposal that incorporated many of those design details while also suggesting wonderful and unexpected alternatives. Our collaboration was a pleasure from the beginning (she supervised the installation of the floors and the demo of our built-ins while we were on vacation. Wonderful!) to the inventive ways she finished the job by using my existing accessories and newly purchased ones to make the new spaces really reflect the way that our family lives in them. My home has never looked better! Her sense of humor and ability to really listen her clients, combined with her sparkling design sense made working Emily June Designs a true delight.

Emily was a jewel to work with! She was creative and inspiring. She listened to our goals for our home and worked with us for furniture, draperies, accessories and had a keen eye for decorating! We love our home! She has great style and a fun personality that makes the process enjoyable!
