About Us

Emily’s background is broad and deeply rooted in residential construction and design. Her interest sparked at a young age while following her father, a contractor, to job sites, his warehouse shop, and the hardware store. You may have even spotted her on top of a roof laying out shingles! This hands-on construction experience helped guide her into making the decision to pursue a career in interior design. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Design Studies, she worked for the family construction business as a designer. More recently she worked as a staff interior designer for NorthSouth Design in Parkersburg, WV for the last 3 years. Emily‘s experiences have driven her passion of bringing a space to life with her laid-back, clean & cozy style. She loves creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect those who occupy it. Clients appreciate her ability to bring designs to life through the use of advanced 3D renderings and her ability to manage and facilitate large projects. In late 2018, Emily and her husband Robert relocated to Powell, OH where they reside with their two children and beloved dog.

Emily Rudolph of Emily Rudolph Interiors excels in interior design. We highly recommend hiring her! After three years of contemplating a kitchen and family room upgrade, and receiving multiple quotes to do so, we were incredibly lucky to have found Emily. Her exceptional eye for color, materials, and detail completely transformed our tired and outdated rooms to fresh and timeless. The end result was exactly what we had hoped for and more! We are now delighted every single day with our beautifully updated spaces. Many thanks again, Emily Rudolph! We think you're magical!

I’m happy that I chose to use an Emily for my kitchen remodel. The kitchen design was beautiful and practical. I have no complaints. And anyone that knows me knows- I always have complaints.

We needed design help to re-do our 2nd floor bathroom, our goals were to make changes to help us age in place, take the room down to the studs, get rid of the jacuzzi and install a washer/dryer, additional storage, heated floor, update the tile, lighting and vanity. And do this in a way that did not look like the washer/dryer unit was there; and, which otherwise blended with the look of our 1946-built house. Emily's design accomplished all these goals. We are very happy with the final result. Emily comes from a home contractor family, and I suspect that background adds to her effectiveness as a designer. We found her easy to talk to, and she communicates well with the contractor-side. Our contractor did quality work but, still -- it really helps to have an independent design pro whose first and only goal is making it all come together the way that WE want it to work. We highly recommend Emily Rudolph.

We hired Emily to completely remodel our kitchen from the studs out and we love the end result! We really didn't know what to do with the space and she turned our vague statement of 'this isn't working and we hate it' into an incredibly well thought out kitchen that utilizes the space so well that I'm blown away every time I step into our new kitchen. She listened to us ramble about the colors and styles we like and was able to incorporate it better than we had ever dreamed of. I'm so happy we hired Emily for our remodel and I will work with her again and recommend her to anyone that asks.

We moved into a new home and Emily helped us with our living room and a formal living room. She did a great job listening, taking feedback, and staying within budget. She took care of furniture and decor for both rooms. Having her opinion and only having to choose between a few items for each option was quite helpful. We love how everything came together. We greatly appreciate all of her help and look forward to working with her again in the future!

Emily is so easy to work with. She designed the remodel of my golf condo while I was living in another state. She communicated with me well and worked with the contractors on my behalf. Additionally, the design was something so much better than I had in my original vision for the project. Her ideas for the final product were far more creative than I could have come up with myself. Finally, she spent my money like it was her own coming in at the original budget we discussed. I highly recommend Emily.

We enjoyed working with Emily. She was a professional, upbeat partner and we valued all the expertise she brought to our various projects. Emily's computerized 3D renderings were tremendously helpful and reflected the results of our brainstorming sessions with her. For each project, she presented multiple options and she was very responsive, working with us to find good fits. She quickly grasped our tastes and intentions and came up with some great suggestions including ideas we hadn't thought of but that we loved. We would happily work with Emily again on future projects.

We were hoping to refresh our home’s interior but weren’t sure where to start since so many rooms would be touched. Emily provided a cohesive, well thought out plan with multiple options that included even the smallest details. Our contractor was very complimentary on her attention to detail and we are beyond thrilled with our finished results. Emily is a joy to work with and we would definitely use her again.

As a general contractor for more than 30 years I have worked with many talented and distinguished designers. There are many great things that I can say about Emily but maybe the most sincerest compliment I can give her is that I chose her to work with me on my own home. I have recommended her to several clients and have always received positive feedback. I highly recommend her!

I engaged Emily to help me with a new build. We had never built a house, and really didn't know what we were doing. She was just what we needed! Her construction background was invaluable because she has an innate sense of space and function. And, as a designer, she's brilliant. She listens well to her client's ideas and visions, and knows just how to work them into a finished project that conveys the look the client wants and functions well within the client's home. She helped us in so many ways, but her contacts and access to materials were probably the most valuable. I could express an idea and in an hour's time she would be back with me with the perfect solution. She's lovely to work with....patient, reliable, prompt and just a delightful partner in the building/design process.
