About Us

For more than two decades, Eric Spurlock has been designing award-winning homes around the world. His career started at the University of New Mexico when he traded the study of medicine for his passion, architecture. Eric would go on to study Architecture and Structural Design, graduating in 1985. While completing his education, Eric began working for the late Steven Hacker, a highly influential builder in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. As lead designer, Eric assisted in the developmental and finishing stages of popular communities such as The Tanoan Country Club, Winterwood Park, Executive Hills, Leslie Park and Burnhamwood Estates.

Eric, been a while since we’ve seen you. Unfortunately things have conspired and we will be leaving our beautiful home you helped us create. It’s going on the market on July 6th. Over the years, we’ve gotten so many compliments!!! Lourdes Mowad

We would not recommend Eric Spurlock. We hired him to design a home in Scottsdale. He was unable to meet the architectural guidelines required by the the HOA and The city of Scottsdale. He took our money without completing our design for the agreed price. I would be careful and not pay any money up front.

I have worked with Eric with my new clients in Real Estate and he has served them well. He is currently working with one of my clients who is a Real Estate Developer in the South. Eric redesigned my bathroom from a dark very outdated one to a light, airy, open beautiful room. I highly recommend Eric for either a redesign or a new home design. He is already a very sought after designer as you will see if you look him up. He has been around a long time but his ideas are always very fresh and new.

I hired Eric to design and assist in the construction of a backyard living area. I found him as a result of viewing one of the homes that he built in Albuquerque. I was absolutely amazed at his flair for contemporary design. After searching for years, and experiencing a unpleasant experience with a previous designer, I knew Eric was the man to make my project come to fruition. He visited my home, listened to my desires, and within a few days, he had beautiful concept drawings completed. Eric's easygoing demeanor coupled with his artistic competence is a rare combination and it is no wonder why h is in such demand. Although we have just finished the design process, I am totally convinced that Eric will get me through the entire project and the end result will be nothing more than spectacular!!!

Eric is so very knowledgable in all aspects of interior decorating. He helped us select our flooring and gave us specific wall color numbers for us to give to our contractor. Eric came over and hung our pictures. He arranged old pictures and photos, mixing them in artistic ways that we would never have even considered so that they looked brand new. Eric answers his phone and answers your questions without hesitation. He utilizes all of your old furnishings in new ways and recommends the place to make new purchases at the most economical prices. Our home is beautiful , largely due to Eric's assistance.

Eric has amazing talent and is experienced with design of contemporary homes. The number of compliments we receive is outstanding. The design of the house is like no other in our city. It includes larger than normal hallways, hidden doors, separate wings, amazing views and window positions, just to name a few. The house design speaks loud and clear of Eric's talents. Often people will say they wish they had done something different - we actually can't say that. He took what was in our hearts and minds and created a one of kind.
