I recently worked with EJDB and Erika on redoing our kitchen (taking out 2 walls, installing new cabinets and the island, rerouting the stove...). Erika was really great to work with from beginning to end, making sure our kitchen project was a big success. What stood out was how patient Erika was. She listened to what we wanted, answered all our questions, and guided us through every step. She had really creative ideas for the design that we hadn’t thought of. Erika and her team were also very careful with our house, always being neat and respectful. In the end, our new expanded kitchen looks wonderful! We’re really thankful for all the hard work Erika and her team put in and would recommend them to anyone!

We had such a great experience with Erika and Jayme! We couldn’t be happier with our significant reno - we did a new kitchen, new floors, and refreshed powder room with Erika Jayne Design and Build. We’ve been working with them for a year or so to plan and design and then construct. Communication was wonderful throughout the project, and construction stayed on track (although we did go a bit over schedule, but that was always communicated in a timely way). Design is absolutely stunning and it’s so functional too. This kitchen is a joy to cook in, and I can’t wait to refresh some more spaces in our home with Erika and Jayme!

I waited a long time to renovate my kitchen. I knew what I didn’t like the old one, but not so much what I wanted the new one to look like. I met Erika and knew immediately: she was the one. When she showed me her design, I could not believe the absolute perfection. It was like I had a fairy godmother who waved a wand and the kitchen of my dreams was designed. In addition to the fabulous design, she brought quality materials and wonderful people to the project. Jayme, who works with Erika was also fabulous. I wake up every day and think about how lucky I am to have this kitchen. Erika and Jayme, they did that.

When you hire a designer you expect they will design you a beautiful kitchen. Erika did that. This was the most creative and professional design and build process I have ever been a part of. The concept was extraordinary but the final product exceeded our expectations. In these extraordinary times you hope that you will be kept informed so that you can adjust to any delays. Erika, Jayme and their team went out of their way to make sure we were always informed. Erika and Jayme held our hand every step of the way and stepped up in ways both big and small to help us complete the job as close to our initial timeline as possible. What you do not expect is that your designer will take care of your home like it is her own, ensure it is spotless every day and ,most importantly, become your friend. I would double the number of stars if possible.

A friend of a friend referred me to Erika and I've been working with her for close to 18 months to pull together our first home. I feel so lucky to work with her. She designed my gorgeous master bath and oversaw every detail of the renovation. She also worked with me to create my dream living room and master bedroom. I say "worked with me" because Erika really listens to what I want and patiently accepts my change requests. I trust her implicitly because she's so talented and because she's someone that is such a delight to work with that you'll also want to be friends. I can't recommend her enough.

When it came to our kitchen remodel, Erika was an invaluable resource to have. We had an idea of the basic design we wanted to have in our kitchen but were kind of clueless beyond that. She was able to absorb our likes and dislikes and guide us toward the best layout. Past that, she was able to take our conflicting ideas, and lead us to the perfect compromise. We ended up with a great space that works just as well to congregate with friends as it does baking thanksgiving pies. We highly recommend using Erika for any of your design needs. She will help turn your vague ideas into a perfect space.

Erika helped us design and renovate our kitchen. She was excellent to work with. She has a wonderful eye for design, loads of experience to guide you through the seemingly endless amount of decisions to be made, connections to suppliers and contractors in the industry, is organized and on top of coordinating all of the moving pieces involved in a renovation project, and on top of all that she is a wonderful person! Erika took our basic ideas about what we wanted to do in renovating our kitchen and worked with us to achieve a design that was anything but basic while staying within our budget. She helped us to see how different combinations of colors and textures could come together to give us a look and feel that's unique but consistent with the classic design concepts with which we're most comfortable. And we couldn't have had more fun throughout the process. Erika truly turned our house into a home. With a tight timeline and a baby on the way, Erika helped us redesign and transform a very dated 80’s master bath into a clean and modern bath (and sanctuary). Erika also presented beautiful design boards to decorate and furnish our family room, living room, dining room, kitchen nook, foyer and master bedroom (and a gallery wall up our stairs). Erika’s taste is impeccable and she was able to create beautiful spaces that fit our budget. She was involved in every detail from paint color to accent pillows, and really listened to us and understood the aesthetic we were trying to achieve. Erika incorporated family friendly fabrics and furniture into our space. She is also a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to tackle more remodeling projects with her in the future!

Erika is truly talented. We hired her to update and remodel the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and foyer in our recently purchased home. We immediately knew that we were in good hands. She took the time to ask the right questions and really listen to my husband and I as we described what what most important to us. Her designs maximized space, minimized unnecessary expense and transformed our house (built in the 1980's) into a fresh and modern home. When it came time to decorate, she selected furniture and accents that fit our design aesthetic and more importantly our lifestyle. I certainly have a taste for the finer things, but with a dog and a baby, we wanted to make sure that we were smart and economical with our purchases. Erika took all of this into consideration while sourcing items for our home, finding us items that we not only loved, but could feel good about buying for our family. My husband and I joke that Erika knows what we really want before we do, but it's not really a joke. She puts great care into her work and it's incredibly important to her that her clients love the finished product - and we most certainly do!
