It was an absolute pleasure working with Louise. She is extremely talented, has an outstanding sense of design and style. She takes the time to get to know her clients, she gets to know their likes and dislikes, their personalities, and incorporates everything into an absolutely perfect design plan. We were extremely fortunate to be able to work with Louise. We highly recommend her for any project you may have. She is professional, kind, and willing to go any extra mile to please her clients. After 15 years with the same furniture it was time to refresh my family room and dining area. My wife had recently passed away and buying furniture was something I wasn’t real comfortable doing. So when I walked into the Ethan Allen showroom and Louise asked me if I needed help I grab onto the offer. Louise listened to me, asked questions and offered suggestions. She came to my house, took measurements and asked more questions to ensure the design she created met my needs. I wasn’t sure what to expect but what I got literally blew me away. The first phase was a 3 D design that showcased the overall design. Once that design was approved Louise carefully selected fabrics and developed an entire vignette that enables me to see and feel the choices. After several months I got the call that the furniture was ready to be delivered. I called Louise and shared with her that I was concerned that I wouldn’t know how to place the furniture like it was in the design she created. Louise said not to worry and she made sure she was at my house when the delivery crew arrived and made sure everything was perfectly placed in accordance with our plan. I cannot say enough about Louise. She is a talented designer but more importantly she knows how to “hear” the spoken and unspoken needs of her client. She is awesome and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

We recently built a new home in Clinton. We worked with Louise on the furniture and design for the main living and dining areas. She was wonderful. A pleasure to work with. She helped us with tile, paint colors, flooring etc. We are now working with her on drapes. We are very happy how everything pulled together and of course Ethan Allen quality is the best. I can’t say enough positive things on the whole experience.

Louise was absolutely the Best. Right from the moment she said "Hi" with this huge smile, I knew she would be the right person to help me. And I truly needed help. Had just downsized from a large home to a condominium. She was extremely helpful in the fact I wanted, if possible, to keep some of the furniture I had in my other home. With a new sofa, rug, bedroom dresser, upholstered headboard/footboard, and help with new fabrics to reupholster chairs I wanted to keep, it looks fabulous. She went over and above to be with me every step of the way, to make sure I was pleased with everything we chose. There was absolutely no pressure and I was able to take my time with picking and choosing. I look forward to completing my project with Louise.

I love working with Louise. She is very easy to work with and she has a great taste level! I worked with her a few years ago and as soon as I knew I was moving I called her to help with our new home.

I recently moved into a new house and Louise has pulled everything together using my old furniture along with new items just right for the space. She is very creative— many ideas but always listens to my suggestions. I highly recommend her.

Louise is a delight to work with! She is low key in her approach but clearly payed attention to our conversations and easily understood what we were trying to accomplish in our home. First and foremost we knew from our first encounter that Louise Lahane was the designer of choice! She was professional, well versed on Ethan Allen's merchandise, an amazing eye for color & style, always presented herself as very stylish and had a wonderful personality! All the ingredients for a beautiful design. Our project was a total remodel shoreline retreat needing almost everything. The living room and kitchen were gutted and Louise helped with placement of an oval window in the living room which was also in the front of our house. Louise developed a livingroom furniture floor plan, color palette and helped us choose furniture, area rug that was proportional, comfortable and functional. Open concept compatible with our new kitchen. Using her expertise to finalize our choice of porcelain floor planks with driftwood charm, textured small white stack stone for the kitchen backsplash which complimented the quartzite counters & 9 ft island and creamy white cabinetry. Lynn sofa niles natural with nailhead trim in nickel Brant Chair Lainey Mist with sand select finish Devonshire Swivel Glider, color Archer Spa (used between kitchen & livingroom, love this function) Area rug, wool, color seafoam Pictures Shell on White IV & Shell on White II Grand Areca Palm Swenson Coffee Table, Opalescent Pine Wall color BM - Cape hatters sand Louise also coordinated paint colors for the 2 adjacent bedrooms & 2nd floor bedrooms & bath. Both those bedrooms & 4-season porch had prior EA purchases such as bedding, petite chandelier, Bradshaw sofa and Bombay chest. We just love how our project came together and owe so much to Louise for her ability to see the "whole" picture. Years of design experience make her an asset to Ethan Allen. She's the whole package. We are starting another remodel at our primary residence which Louise will be involved in!!!

We recently renovated our master bedroom and worked with Louise on a floor plan and design. The end result is a tranquil retreat with a style and color palette that transitions nicely from other rooms and compliments the bungalow style of the house. Louise has exceptional taste and was very easy to work with. She really took the time to understand our needs and style, while keeping our budget in mind. She always offered options and provided her opinion in a gentle and accommodating manner. Working with her truly felt like a partnership and we will certainly contact her again when it's time for our next project. Highly recommend!
