Eva and her team transformed my condo into a modern, gracious and comfortable environment that really reflects my life. Eva really understands how to get more from all of the space you have - my kitchen, bathrooms and living areas are the same square feet but they all give me so much more than I had. Especially in the kitchen where my counter and cabinet space doubled. But it was a lot more than that - updating of the doors, removing crown molding, redoing the hardwood floors, adding light - this just made my place open up and feel 'right' for the city. And of course the quality and well designed furniture which she is known for made it all just beautiful. Eva's attention to detail and years of experience made the project easy for me. And the building said the workers were great and respectful to work with (and you know how important that is!). I am really thrilled by my new home :)

Knowing Eva for years as she has decorated several offices for us to n the past. This is the first time she has done a total remodel of the kitchen in our home and she knocked it out of the park!! She had a vision for our kitchen as soon as she came into our home. The attention she shows to detail is second to none. Eva has a passion for her work and it shows. Eva and her team (especially Elaine) are simply the best. They took on my project and were able to work with me to design something beyond my expectations, help me find the perfect pieces - including some really rare/hard to find art, and even find good deals/value! For example, there was a rug I fell in love with that was quite pricey and Eva was able to find a way to get the rug made for a much lower cost. Eva and Elaine were available whenever I needed them and were always supportive when I wanted to shift directions. I couldn't recommend Eva more highly - 10/10!

Eva has a fantastic eye. She designed a timeless kitchen layout for my 100 year old house. Years later, I still love it and regularly get compliments from guests. The perfect colors, the functional layout and cabinet design all work together to make the kitchen the center of my home. It's a testament to her considerable skill and experience.

Eva is wonderful to work with! As soon to be first time parents, we wanted to create a space that is baby friendly, while still maintaining some feeling of adult sophistication for our new condo. Eva was able to show us how to do this in a customized way and make the most out of the space we have. All the rooms were better than we hoped, but the baby’s room was much more than we planned. She designed it in a way that is fitting for a nursery, but in a unique way that still flows with the total design of the home. Eva Quateman is a consummate professional. She has a keen eye for design, proportion and style. I have worked with Eva on two projects and find her an absolute delight. I am convinced my home sold in 2017 as quickly as it did and commanded the price we wanted because of Eva's many contributions. She is a direct but easy going person with a consistently positive nature, budget aware and value-oriented where necessary. She really listens to her clients and is more than fair when it comes to billing matters. The first project was the entire remodel of a 20-year-old Larry Booth home which included new floors, 3.5 baths, the kitchen and more. It was absolutely stunning--with great "bones." I am seriously grateful for her help. I recently re-engaged Eva to help me finish a new apartment. She did an amazing job with my art and re-purposing select pieces from my former home. My new home has a more relaxed yet elegant vibe, and Eva quickly adapted to my wishes for a new look. Her contributions have been priceless.

We discovered Eva Quateman when we hired her Husband (Gary Quateman-Q Construction) to rebuild the interior of our home after a pipe burst on our top floor and substantially destroyed the interior of our home. As we went through this emotional six month ordeal, we met Eva when we sought her opinions on selecting paint colors, wallpaper and new furniture/rugs to replace what had been destroyed. Eva was able to interpret our own ideas and incorporate them into a far superior finished product. Eva is, by far, the best designer with whom I have ever worked. Her eye for color, detail and space is unreal. She was able to take existing furniture that we owned and incorporate it into an overall concept that was supplemented and enhanced by her own furniture and fabric selections. In the end, we knew that we could never have made our home as beautiful as it looked once Eva was done. Shortly after Eva completed her work, we learned we had to relocate to the east coast due to a change in employment. Our house sold in fifteen days, largely due to the dramatic effect of Eva's design. Once we purchased our new house, we continued our relationship with Eva through email, phone and FaceTime contact. She is currently helping us make the new furniture we bought for our Chicago home look just as fabulous in our new home. She spent several hours on a FaceTime call with us just yesterday, getting a feel for the flow and structure of our house, recommending placement of our existing furniture and recommended new pieces to enhance them in our new space. We are also planning to renovate our basement into an in-law suite for our parents and Eva assisted us in visualizing a beautiful floor plan and will assist us going forward in seeing this additional project to its conclusion. We anticipate Eva Quateman being an important part of every future decision we make with regard to our home decorating and design. We have absolute confidence in her and no hesitation in giving her our highest recommendation.

I just finished a big renovation of mY vintage apartment and Eva and her team did amazing work to get it done on time and looking fabulous. She has strong opinions but wonderful taste. And she really knows what she is doing. Working with her makes you feel like you are in the hands of a real professional. Her aesthetic is expensive but tasteful so be prepared to spend big bucks. But it's worth it. She's great.

My wife and I hired Eva for interior design on our fabulous major rennovation, preservation and addition to one of the oldest homes in Highland Park, IL--from the 1860s--Victorian Italiante design. She was the third of fourth designer that we hired but we had no luck with the prior individuals. Eva listened carefully to what we envisioned for our apartment. We wanted a black and white color scheme with pops of color. She quickly sees how to plan and use space and is able to communicate her ideas with selections of pictures and fabrics. She and her team are very detail oriented down to the smallest accessory like a small button on the back of a chair. I really liked two fabrics - one very expensive and one more reasonable for the master bedroom. She used the expensive fabric on a little desk chair and the other on a sofa. She has very definite ideas and opinions but ultimately worked very hard to make certain both my husband and I were pleased and happy with selections in terms of style as well as comfort. She is easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. From the start the team understood our timeline for completing the project and kept us on track to make decisions in order meet it.

In 2008 we made the decision to sell our home and move into a new-construction condo in the city. The actual move happened in 2012, so we had the pleasure of working with Eva Quateman and her team over the course of a few years. Eva did a fabulous job of helping us select which pieces from our home to update and take with us and also finding different uses for some of our favorite pieces. For instance, she suggested we use our antique secretary in the master bedroom as a TV cabinet. Because we bought new construction, Eva helped us finalize our floor plans and finishings with the developer. She suggested some changes, such as adding a wall between our kitchen and great room resulting in more kitchen cabinet space and a formal dining area vs. a counter area. Eva recognized our traditional decor preferences, and she selected fabrics, furniture and finishings that coordinated well with our antiques to create a beautiful and comfortable new home. Eva and her team were professional, friendly and attentive. It was an enjoyable experience working with the Eva Quateman team, and I would highly recommend Eva Quateman Interiors!
