After Julie Wagner of First Impressions did such a great job designing our interior open floor plan living spaces (family room, living room, dining room, and connecting areas), we were thrilled to work with her again on our home office and brand-new screened-in porch. While the office is separated from our open living spaces, she carried over the same design theme and selected paint/window treatments that blended so well with everything else in our home. She suggested little design touches, like adding a chair rail, that really make the space feel special. Our screened porch is now my favorite room in the house! Julie suggested flooring, furniture, a rug, decorative window treatments, and greenery that make the space very comfortable and inviting. Everything is also practical and easy to clean, which I appreciate with two little children running around. Julie is such a pleasure to work with. She is a delightful human being who provides such great value and quality work. My only regret is that I am running out of rooms in my home where she can work her magic!

Julie did a terrific job and was great to work with from start to finish! Her experience as a professional designer really showed in her design ideas for my living room, dining room, and den. Her work included recommending and selecting furnishings, curtains, accents as well as a custom cabinet and shelves. She incorporated my existing furnishings and tastes every step of the way. As important as her expertise is her enthusiasm; she went over and above what she had to do to make things just right. Julie is also a great communicator and fun to work with, making difficult decisions an adventure in ideas. I highly recommend her without hesitation!

When we moved into our new house, I needed help with blinds, drapes, a rug, reupholstery, and a headboard. Julie was so easy to work with. She has an eye for fabrics and style that fit my tastes exactly. Her recommendations look wonderful in my house. Stayed within my budget too!

Julie was a delight to work with and she helped me accomplish exactly what I wanted, an update and facelift for my living and dining rooms. Julie made design recommendations for new curtain panels, light fixtures , area rugs and color scheme to give my home a coordinated, bright look. Now, instead of conflicting styles that we had accumulated over the years, everything has a fresh, modern look and all the elements of our decor "talk to each other" as Julie puts it!

When we decided to sell our home we knew we were competing with new construction and model homes. Although this isn't a project that designers usually take on, Julie was open to working with me. She was outgoing and friendly and had no problem with working with my existing decor and a small budget to make my house show beautifully! Julie is professional, talented, and works hard to please her customers no matter what scale the project is! My house sold in four days !

My husband and I purchased our first house last year and used Julie Wagner to help us make it a “home.” We moved from a tiny apartment and needed to decorate and furnish the entire first level of our open-floor plan house: living room, dining room, family room, and breakfast area. Julie was amazing to work with! After meeting with us and hearing our vague vision, she was able to make targeted suggestions for floor plans, furniture pieces, fabric choices, paint colors, window treatments, and wall décor that suited our goal of an easy, comfortable living space. She was extremely professional and a complete pleasure to work with, listening to our feedback and tweaking her designs accordingly. She was mindful of our budget and gave us the insider scoop on where to spend and where to save. Some designers have a “plan” that they fall back on for customers, but Julie truly tailored everything to our tastes, budget, and lifestyle. She oversaw the delivery and installation of all furniture and wall pieces, which was really helpful. We would whole-heartedly recommend her for any interior design needs!

Julie helped us redecorate our living area. She was fun to work with, followed through on everything in a timely manner, came up with a beautiful color scheme and quality furnishings. Our living room looks great; however the project went over budget.

She was quick and helpful. She had very nice ideas and suggestions. It was reasonably priced. I had a pleasant experience.

Julie has expansive product knowledge and is very detailed. She is also good at using things we have and adding design elements to transform a room. We were able to add a "wow" factor to several rooms within a reasonable budget.

I contacted Julie for help designing a living room that was practical for a house full of boys, but inviting for adults to gather. However, my biggest apprehension was would she be able to capture the style I wanted at a price I could afford. Julie quickly honed in on my style and preferences and provided me a range of affordable options in exceptional quality. Julie has made our house a home that truly reflects our family and always stays in budget.

I have been totally delighted with Impressions By Julie! Julie is a complete professional, from the first meeting with her, and throughout the entire design project. The first meeting consisted of us meeting, interviewing each other - reviewing the scope of the project. Our second meeting was reviewing the project, discussing cost/ budget and the time frame for projection completion. My project is on going as I am doing an entire home! Julie is extremely patient, has stayed within my budget, resourceful, creative and works extremely well with others! Her ability to coordinate with other contractors, installers is impeccable! Julie is always smiling, positive and let's me express my thoughts or ask questions without ridicule. Due to my open floor plan, corner fireplace, long kitchen island, she has shown me how to maximize my space into a welcoming, warm environment.
