Founded in 2018 by close friends and business partners, Robin Drunsic and Hanna Schaffer, Forest + Ash is considered one of the premier interior design companies on the Seacoast of New Hampshire and beyond. Working with both residential and commercial properties, Robin + Hanna focus on creating timeless and functional spaces that fit each individual client and their lifestyle. We were guided by our realtor to hire Hanna for the selling of our house in Spring of 2018. Hanna came in over several visits to assist us in creating a space that would maximize the appeal of our 40-year-old home. She devised a plan to make the rooms feel bigger, edit all unnecessary items, and rearrange our own items in ways we would not have come up with, all the while being pleasant and personable. She gave us a clear and concise list of other items that we needed to purchase with a follow up afterwards to tweak the plan. Along with being flexible with scheduling her time with us, she also completed the job in a timely manor. She assured us from the start that she would help us no matter our taste of decor and she did! I would recommend Hanna without hesitation for any design job and we are looking forward to utilizing her skills in our new home!

We hired Hanna to help us with a renovation project for the downstairs of our house, focusing on the kitchen. We were not sure of what we wanted, and she did a great job of guiding us in the right direction. Hanna did all the work of finding contractors, overseeing their work, and ordering all the materials. She worked with us to learn what style we liked and made suggestions that really fit our lifestyle. Our house and kitchen are amazing now, a total transformation. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I put off our kitchen remodeling project because we were intimidated by the whole process and weren’t even sure what we wanted. After working with Hanna of H. interior design, we highly recommend Hanna. Hanna’s ability to understand her clients was obvious from our first meeting. She asked all the right questions to help us figure out what direction to go in. It was our first time using a professional, and Hanna was patient, knowledgeable, and full of great ideas and advice that fit our style and budget. Bottom line: Hanna is professional, trustworthy and thorough, and I wouldn’t go with any other designer! She’s easy and fun to work with, and the quality of her work is outstanding.

Hanna is wonderful to work with. She is professional, knowledgable, and has a great sense of style. I am a psychologist and asked Hanna to design my full time therapy office in downtown Boston. She was incredibly attentive to my timeline, my budget, and to my and my patients' needs as the users of the room. Hanna's instincts about space, color and light allowed her to put together an office that is exactly what I was looking for, but could have never created myself. I loved working with Hanna and would give her the highest recommendation.

We hired Hanna to help us plan the space layout for our new master bathroom as well as helping us with all fixture and material selections. The end result far exceeded our expectations. She was able to take our vision and make it a reality. She also had ideas that we never would have thought of on our own that make our space function even greater than we could have expected. She was always available to help in a pinch or to pop over and meet with contractor for last minute decisions or if we were not able to be there. And on top of it all she's super fun to work with! She is just supremely talented and such a joy to work with. I cannot wait for our next project together and would highly recommend her services.

We hired Hanna from upstate NY. Hanna was able to take photos and measurements and completely furnish our living room , sunroom and one of our children's bedroom. Her eye for colors and fabrics and ideas for space are amazing. She chose couches, chairs, lamps, tables, pillows, and rugs. Hanna guided us on changing out fireplace color and the importance of built ins. Just painting the fireplace changed the entire feel of the room.. We never would have known to do that. She was so accommodating and patient with us through the whole process. Always emailing right away and giving us "the vision" with mood boards. Hanna walked us through the decision making process, which can be difficult with so many choices. We have Young children and she was so thoughtful around furniture fabrics and choices.
