When my wife and I set off to redesign the main floor of our house we were overwhelmed with the options. Karen came in and immediately made the process easy. She listened to some of our ideas, took note of the unique character of our 100+ year old house, and came back with distilled options from which to choose. We love what she's done. On top of the outcome, working with Karen was a great experience. She was always professional, always punctual, and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. We are happy to recommend Karen highly.

Karen Attwell furnished and styled my living room and master bedroom. She was extremely professional, respectful of my time and brought great options for me to consider. She was also respectful of finding out and staying within any budget considerations. Both rooms are beautifully finished and I get compliments on them from everyone who comes into my home. The furniture is great quality, fits the space perfectly and the overall look of the two rooms is both inviting and sophisticated. I can't say enough good things about my dealings with Karen and her abilities as a designer.

Karen was very easy to work with. She helped me find furniture and accessories for my new home. She brought me great options and really listened to what I wanted and helped me make my house my home. I love the carpets she helped me find. She found unique consoles and tables that really fit well in my home. She was very accommodating with my difficult schedule. All the contractors sent to my home were very professional. She was great at communicating with me on a regular basis and was always very responsive to questions or concerns that I had.

We were impressed with how quickly and easily Karen “got us”. Design is not our strong suit and so we did not articulate or provide great vision. Even absent clear direction Karen’s suggestions fit perfectly with the result we were trying to achieve. Karen worked very carefully with our budget, finding the perfect balance between investment pieces and bargains. Karen went above and beyond working with suppliers on our behalf, even when challenges arose. We were delighted with the outcome, our old and quirky house now feels like our home. Form Interiors provided excellent, professional service.

Karen is very easy to work with. We would whole heartedly recommend her. She really understood our personal style. She worked within that but also chose pieces that we wouldn’t have chosen for ourselves. These pieces worked perfectly for the look we want in our home. She has elevated our space with space planning and has helped us tie the whole house together using colour themes that run throughout the house. It’s something we haven’t been able to accomplish in previous homes. We have a few odd issues with our home. We didn’t know what to do with these spaces but she found solutions that effectively turned an odd space to a focal point. She’s provided excellent service – readily available to answers my questions, offer advice, and give practical solutions. Not only has she helped us create a beautiful space but Karen has made our new home more meaningful to us and that has truly been a gift.

Karen has a great sense of style but more importantly she works closely with her clients to help them define their own. Karen helped us give our home an updated look including addition of fabulous new pieces and refreshing older ones. She gave us options and nudged us into trying something a little different now and again to give our home a more distinctive look. She also never lost sight of function over form. With two small children our home needed to be sensible as well as stylish. I have recommended Karen and plan to use her again when a project presents itself.

Karen has a classic style and gentle guidance. She was able to translate what we wanted into the design. I appreciated her guidance and knowledge of city sourcing. Lights are the bane of design for me and Karen found ones that suit even picky me. Thanks Karen! It looks great and was a lot of fun in the process.

Karen has revolutionized my thought on spaces. Previous to working with her – I was focused purely on function and saw aesthetic as fluffy irrelevance. I am a difficult client. She brought her communications background into her work with me – and did it well. She realized the first step in creating spaces that worked for me was to find out what moved and motivated me – and to also see where my blockages were. She addressed the whole story that is my life. With this information – Karen has helped me select fabrics for furniture, restyle my mantle and select paint colours. She has always been gentle and thoughtful in this process.
