The transformation of our bonus room has exceeded our expectations. Francine was amazing to work with and has an exceptional blend of style and functionality. The space was a mismatched, awkward space that has been changed into a fashionable and usable retreat within our home. I am so happy that I found Freshen Design. Our apartment was transformed into a home that is now my favorite place to be. Francine found solutions that worked within our budget, timeline, functional needs, and personal taste while also encouraging us to think about some things differently than we would have otherwise. When we bought a 70's era house, we knew that there would be much work to be done. The kitchen was barely functional, the bathrooms were tiny, and wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We found Freshen Design on Thumbtack, and decided to go with Francine based on what we saw on her web site. From design to execution, she did an amazing job maximizing the overall space and layout. She provided several concepts which we used to collaborate and the final designs literally breathed new life into each room! Her keen eye and attention to detail were crucial in guiding us throughout the project. We are loving our contemporary “new” home.

After locally "shopping" around for different interior designers, I decided to go with Freshen Design after reviewing samples of the interior design work they've previously done and based on my positive discussions with the owner, Francine. I found Francine to be attentive to my needs-- she has a very keen eye for design and she tried her best to work with my budget. Whenever I raised any concerns, she took the time to listen and consider my opinion or needs. She was completely transparent when outlining the pros and cons of different design options. There were several instances where she went above and beyond to deliver the results I was looking for. Overall, extremely happy with the results and several friends have already complimented on my home's transformation!
