I was worried about the choices I was presented with. I, however, am admittedly not good at this sort of thing. Even knowing that I still pushed back hard. Sara assured me and my real estate agent also agreed with her. I got more options and went with her original. I was very reluctant to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on a paint job that I could not see the vision of. I did it on faith. Let me just say that I was so happy I did. Sarah Sumner did a great job and I was very lucky to have her and very lucky she told me (with conviction) that it would look great. This review would be much different if it did not come out so very well. Thanks Sara, the house is beautiful inside and out. If it were up to me, it would have been ugly! I have known Sarah Sumner for 4 years. She is so easy to work with. She has excellent ideas and creates beautiful interiors. Our first project was a guest house built primarily for my daughter and her family when they visit. It is beautiful. The next project was my master bath in the main house. It needed a serious remodel. Our latest project is the kitchen in the main house. I can’t wait for it to be finished! Sarah was great! She worked with 3 siblings, who live out of town, on a vacation home. She was able to incorporate all of our different tastes into a wonderful end product. She helped us stay within our budget. Her professionalism and knowledge allowed us to feel comfortable working on the project from a distance and finish on time. Sarah is the only interior designer I know who is LEED accredited, which is important when specifying products that will not cause the client health issues, and that are environmentally responsible. Sarah was very responsive initially and also quickly got the staging in place. The house looked beautiful and became a warm home. She was very instrumental in getting us the price that our house deserved. We feel her staging talents lifted that house up into an entirely different orbit. Project was a pair of spec condos. Fusion provided interior design services for the entire project. I received many compliments on the finished product. Realtors described the finishes as "spot on".

Fusion Interiors helped me renovate and redesign the interiors on my family's ranch, including the main log home, guest quarters, and a new build-out of a barn into a new guest cottage/second main house. Nothing had really been updated since 1989 and my husband and I were frankly overwhelmed. Fusion understood exactly what areas needed the most attention, where we could re-use certain pieces, either by reupholstering or restaining/repainting, and got things done quickly and professionally. The kitchens and bathrooms benefited the most from Fusion's savvy use of textures and lighting. The rustic log cabin look is thoroughly modernized and has a more sophisticated urban-country look to it that my family and friends love. The compliments are unending! Fusion worked well with my husband and me via email and through houzz to pick furnishings and really nail down our look. Fusion worked closely and seamlessly with our architect, contractor, and ranch crew.

Sarah, and her assistant Brittany, exceeded our expectations on a large and complex home decorating and furnishing project. After purchasing a historic home in Durango, we engaged Fusion Interiors to furnish and decorate our home. We started with an empty house, which was a bit overwhelming, and we were handling much of this remotely. We were looking for a partner who could understand our style, bring in ideas and suggestions, respect the historic nature of our home, while bringing in a more rustic, contemporary edge. Sarah brought in great ideas, narrowed options, presented fabulous color palettes and fabrics, and when the time came, organized the selection of wonderful local art that put the finishing touches on our home! And not only did Sarah and her team bring in creative and fun ideas, she also used her organization and communication skills to keep everything on track, to keep us informed, and to meet our move-in deadlines. Sarah has a rare combination of creative and organization skills! Sarah also used her network to bring in resources to address any need that we had, from building an amazing display wine cellar, upgrading light and plumbing fixtures, silver-leafing the turret, and framing art. My husband and I enjoyed Sarah's sense of humor, and found she and Brittany a real pleasure to work with. Our home is amazing, and we highly recommend Fusion!!

Fusion Interiors did the interior design for my new home. They assisted the architect in selecting finishes for floors, cabinets, countertops, and tile. They selected and purchased all of the furniture and window coverings. I was extremely pleased with the results. The bathroom floors, showers, and countertops were beautifully coordinated and exactly the looks that we were hoping to achieve. We were especially happy that they were able to select a mix of furnishings such that we had a few really special, unique, custom-built pieces, but stayed within a very tight budget by finding value purchases in less critical areas of the home. Our house is very contemporary, but it is located in the mountains, so the project was made more challenging by our desire to have a slightly rustic look within the overall contemporary design. Fusion Interiors did an excellent job in helping us to achieve this. We would recommend this firm unconditionally.

Sarah did a wonderful job helping us chose the right window coverings for our home. The colors are perfect and the function of the shades is exactly what we were looking for. Her installer did a great job and the shades look like the windows were designed for them. Her eye for good fabric colors and accents helped make our new pillows for the sofa and bed be the "pop" that we needed in the rooms.

I had never used an interior designer before and so wasn't sure what to expect when I started. What I got from Sarah was far more than I ever imagined. She not only lent her creative genius to the project but also was a trusted advocate and advisor in navigating the complicated development process. My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah for the past several months on a remodel/upgrade of a condominium we purchased at Cascade Village in Durango for rental and personal use. Sarah was extremely helpful in prioritizing what needed to be done immediately and what could be done in later stages. She utilized local sources whenever possible which saved us both time and money.
