Georgia Furniture and Interiors

I have worked with Georgia Furniture & their designers piece-meal over the course of several homes, but specifically this last project was a complete renovation of a newly purchased older home we bought. We literally started with virtually nothing but family heirlooms and our collection of artwork. The whole design and purchase process took well over a year working with Georgia Furniture and one of their designers - Gail Lawrence. We used them to help us determine everything as basic as coordinating our paint, wood flooring, carpeting colors, wall coverings, design and update of our fireplace, choose our marble in the kitchen, open up a doorway opening to our kitchen, re-puropse a cabinet, and choices right through the purchase all of our furniture and window coverings (which was provider through affiliate vendors). I think that our designer (Gail Lawrence) was involved in almost everything. Many pieces of our furniture were custom and designed to suit and sit a smaller frame and it was great to work with an organization that was capable of understanding and providing this sort of specialized service. Plus the selection of furniture and brands that they offered was wide - we often ordered from catalogs when we couldn't find something off the floor that suited our needs. I think we were a rare customer since we needed so much furniture and I believe it would have been impossible to have located all of our furniture exclusively off of the floor of any store we shopped at. So I was pleased that they offered so many vendors to choose from via catalog shopping as well. And - since we were working with their designer - it also allowed us to collaborate to put the fabrics of our choice on these pieces to further complete and embrace the theme that our home was taking as we progressed. We did have one misfire due to a vendors under performance and Donna Ball - the owner - did respond by interacting with the vendor and ultimately we chose not to do business with the custom vendor and got a refund in full. Donna was a great professional regarding this matter and we were happy with the outcome. In closing, I would give a complete endorsement of Georgia Furniture, their designers and their product choices. They have by far the best and most varied choices in the Savannah, Hilton Head and Charleston, SC area.

Our experience with Georgia Furniture was A+ from the moment we walked in the door. We recently built our dream retirement cottage with decorating ideas in tune with coastal living. Designer Bobby Erb, is a genius! Not only was he able to order the specific sectional I wanted, but offered so many ideas and pieces to compliment, designing the cottage into exactly our vision. Bobby understood what we were looking for and mirrored our thoughts for furniture, lamps, rugs, window treatments and accessories for the cottage inside and out. Delivery times and customer service were excellent! We could not have asked for a better experience. Sunny Nolde recently helped me decorate my new kitchen/family room and did a wonderful job. She provided good suggestions and options for color,style and fabric along with the furniture that was purchased from Georgia Furniture and Interiors.

Donna Ball always provided prompt and courteous service during my experience with Georgia Furniture. The delivery and set-up was outstanding as was the design service. I worked with designer Bobby Erb who visited the house (before it was even completed) to give me a design plan for the pieces that I needed. Bobby made the whole experience a pleasure. I was able to order not only furniture but window treatments, outdoor furniture and bedding...they even provided re-upholstery service. I am confident in recommending Donna Ball and Georgia Furniture for a superb shpooing experience.

Georgia Furniture is an amazing place. Great staff. Great selection of furniture. The staff is extremely helpful and we were able to find several couches, chairs, and tables at really good prices. Top notch interior design advice, and amazing knowledge of the different companies around for buying furniture. The only store I would go to for my home!

After spending months searching for the perfect sofa both on line and here in Savannah, I went to Georgia Furniture. If only I had known! They had been recommended by a friend who bought three living room chairs and was very pleased. The staff was gracious and patient as I was very specific about what I wanted. Bobby Orb took me up to the second floor and there was my sofa. It was exactly what I wanted. Made by Four Seasons a high back which I bought in white linen. It's best not to be too effusive in these reviews because then no one believes it can be THAT good but I genuinely can say that Georgia Furniture is a place I would and do recommend to all. They are that good. I ended up buying my bed there also which is ever so comfy. All in all this was such a pleasant experience. And by the way, their prices are pretty much exactly what I feel they should be; this is not a discount company nor are they overpriced, it all felt truly fair.
