I knew from our first conversation that Tracy Gilmore was the perfect choice to help me make our new home our own. Turned out she had worked on the project with Joe Nye a few years ago as her senior project in school! Small world. She loved the house and knew every nook and cranny as well as what workrooms had supplied the materials. What a good start. As we worked together I loved her creativity and her attention to detail. She helped me sort through 30 years worth of possessions and decide what worked in our smaller setting. She measured everything and managed to arrange our art, rugs and furnishings in a new light. Our new house is half the size of our old one so that was quite a feat. She has a great eye for color, fabric and design and also has a wonderful team. Her Interior Design Assistant Erica is fun to work with and finds no task too daunting from moving furniture to making beds. The movers and art installers are terrific, too. Tracy and team are outstanding professionals and a joy to work with. They have helped transform a lovely home into what she rightly calls, a perfect jewel box of a home.

Tracy was amazing. We had a rental house we wanted to furnish and look like a home, but we also wanted all the furniture to not be so specific to the rental house so it could move with us when we eventually bought a house. Admittedly not an easy task. But she was amazing. She gave us a bunch of options and worked within our budget and design tastes to make the house look beautiful. Everyone that comes over complements us on how amazing it looks. and we couldn't be happier. She really took the time to understand us and our tastes and then designed around them. So the house feels like a reflection of us. We couldn't recommend Tracy more, whether it's for a large scale project or just a new piece of furniture. She will make your place look amazing

Working with Tracy Gilmore was a dream come true. We told her what we envisioned for our newly renovated house and she took those notes and ran. Tracy was very patient with us as we were easily overwhelmed by too many choices at once. Tracy is a problem solver and perfectionist. She is very creative and has a great vision. We would use Tracy again in a heartbeat and recommend her for any project big or small.

We worked with Tracy to design our daughter's nursery and couldn't not be more please with the outcome. She gave a great solution to a room that had no closet, provided paint color and window treatment recommendations that were spot on. Tracy has a great eye for art. She chose a collection of art that was youthful and will grow with our daughter throughout the years.

Originally, I engaged Gilmore Design to simply purchase furniture for me as I was under the delusion "I can do the decorating/arrangement/coordinating myself." Boy was I wrong! During our first meeting, Tracy and I discussed what we wanted out of our living room. She listened carefully to our wants and needs, returning the following week with a unique floor plan designed in a way we could never imagine. She took my husband's television requirements, our entertaining needs, our desire to update our traditional Mediterranean home, and melded them all into a phenomenal arrangement. She even took into consideration storage for my knitting, which is helpful for the Winter months spent in this room. People now walk into this room, saying it's a happy, gorgeous space. On our dark hardwood floors, Tracy selected two off-white shag rugs, separating two sitting areas, that with the stylish and comfortable swivel club chairs, can become one space with a turn of the chair. She designed cabinetry (white with a pale aqua backing) accommodating a new 70" TV which can be watched from either the club chairs or the off-white (different fabric from the chairs) sofa flanked by two accent chairs. Pops of color, mainly aqua with a bit of dark red, are placed strategically around the room. Our new living room completely exceeded all of our expectations! Tracy continues to follow-up with me on final details. Her calm, sensitive manner makes her approachable. She's got a great sense of design, yet incorporates our taste as well. She is wonderful to work with...I'd highly recommend!

Tracy was able to help us create and execute our dream bathrooms! She is organized, fast, detail-oriented and she is just a nice person. On top of all that, she stayed within our budget. I would highly recommend Gilmore Design.

I have been working with Tracy of Gilmore Design Studio for the past year. She helped me from the beginning when we were drawing the plans for our new house and consulted with me and with our contractors throughout the construction process She did the floorplans and lay out for the furnishings throughout the house and now is helping us complete the final touches of our dream home. She had creative constructive ideas which captured the feeling and look we wanted to achieve. She was directly involved in designing the finish cabinetry, tile /stone layout, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, window treatments and furniture layout and selections. Often we had our own ideas or suggestions and Tracy always respected our budget, taste and needs. Often I can take a while to commit to an idea or change my mind but Tracy was always patient and understanding. She was able to incorporate some of our existing pieces effectively. At all times though out the process she was extremely professional both in dealing with us and with all of the subs and vendors. She was available whenever we needed her for a quick question or lengthy afternoon session. She was able to fix problems as they occurred and after the fact and keep us calm during a stressful construction and design process. It has been a pleasure to work with Tracy. I sell residential real estate and I look forward to recommending her highly to my clients. I know we will work together for a long time.

Time management, budgeting, managing deliveries and contractors, billing. Tracy and the Gilmore Design Studio have worked on several projects for me over the last few years - transforming my residence not only aesthetically, but emotionally. My space now reflects just the atmosphere I wanted - serene, tranquil, fluid and inviting. Tracy works with ease and a tireless approach to creative design. We did the residence in two parts, and then the design studio for a major LA printing firm. Tracy is uniquely talented.
