Rona Graf at Grace Blu Interior Design took our old, staid, unused living room and transformed it into a cocktail bar that has become the centerpiece of our house. The bar and surrounding seating area are swanky, fun, cool, and sophisticated all at the same time. She has a gift for designing not just the big picture finished product, but all the little details that bring a room together. Her use of colors, materials, and fabrics is extraordinary - from the wallpaper to the bar inlays to the seating fabrics to the plant decorations. If you want your house interior to bring you joy, look no further.

Rona is an absolute pleasure to work with and her talent is top shelf! She has a keen sense of what we want/need even though we are often unable to express it - my wife especially struggles with envisioning how a room/house/design will look unless she sees it in person and can touch it or feel it - but Rona does an amazing job of presenting things so she can grasp it and "see it". One thing that really stands out is that Rona never pushes a style or design on us - she listens and is able to flex and find things that she believes we will like. And she is often able to nail it down after just 1 or 2 tries too, which is awesome. We love working with her and her staff is friendly, courteous and highly responsive too. Rona and the Grace Blu Team are quite simply incredible. I called out of sheer desperation with a crazy timeline and not only did they agree they nailed it (see 21st Street Project). I truly felt they heard me and noted details I forgot even mentioning. I walked in and immediately felt it was home and every single person who walks in exhales and smiles which was the exact spirit I wanted. The design is durable for a house full of dogs and surfing teens and the decor is warm coastal for entertaining and exhaling. Nothing was left out, they covered every detail! I can not wait for the team to refresh my San Diego home and help with next HB projected.

I considered Grace Blu Designs along with 2 competing companies for a significant ($500K) remodel project on my $2M property. After I interviewed Rona/Grace Blu and her team in early 2016 we elected to utilize Grace Blu for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the business seemingly being staffed and organized in an efficient and effective manner and with good references. After some careful planning months, we kicked off the project in mid August of 2016 and things have been going very well "so far". Grace Blu is well connected in the Southern California area given its years of experience and this network has proven to be invaluable and created terrific synergies. The project is estimated to be completed in 60 more days (total of 120 days) and I trust that the Grace Blu team will see it though nicely to the end.

T & S Construction

This was a complete interior project including the remodel of 4 bathrooms, and kitchen. Grace Blu provided complete detailed drawings for each bath, kitchen, and rooms. All materials were detailed including installation. The girls were very easy to work with and provide the necessary support to complete the project. I have worked with Grace Blu on several other project over the past 2 years. Some small bath remodels and or kitchens. With each project, they provide the same support. I have recommended them to other clients.

Grace Blu saved my home improvement project. I was that typical homeowner that watched many many hours of HGTV and decided I was a pro at home design without any previous knowledge or training. I struggled to get through my 2 bathroom renovations but finally completed the framework. All I needed was the perfect paint colors to tie it all together. After studying what seemed like hundreds of paint swatches, I finally picked a few colors out. On the swatch, they seemed perfect.. on the wall, they turned into nightmare colors! To save me from hours of redoing paint and spending money on paint, I hired Grace Blu Designs to help me find the right colors that matched the tile/design/decor of the bathrooms. They are true color experts! They looked at each room in the house and the decor throughout the house and pulled the perfect samples for me to choose from. I would never have found the perfect color without them! They truly understand how the color on a swatch can morph into a completely different color on the wall. I'm so happy I hired Grace Blue to turn this project around for me!

Working very closely with Rona and Stephanie of Grace Blu has been wonderful! We are finally getting the kitchen and home of our dreams! Their expertise and professionalism has been invaluable through the entire design and selection process. They helped us visualize how our great room/kitchen would look by knocking down walls. Grace Blu made it a breeze to choosing the cabinets, the layout of the space, countertop edging, to furniture and deciding room layouts. They were able to find creative and beautiful ideas within budget and helped us meet selection deadlines. We have relied on them very heavily in so many areas, they kept us organized and on track. I've worked with Grace Blu Designs as one of their artisans in their resource pool. This means I've seen their work up close and personal from inside their studio to multitudes of jobsites. First and foremost, I continue to be impressed by the sheer creative talent on this team. On top of their talents... they are fun! GraceBlu was recommended to us by a friend who had recently remodeled a couple homes. My friend had worked with other designers in the past and highly recommended GraceBlu saying they were both professional and talented. We decided to hire them after our initial consultation. Our project was a complete remodel, down to the studs. GraceBlu designed every room, working closely with us to create the look we desired. They are truly creative and are able to execute an idea into reality. It's also very helpful that they not only have interior design experience but an in-depth knowledge of construction. This helped in two ways; provided an understanding of realistic expectations and the opportunity to consider new, inventive options for improvement. The space planning required to successfully create what we had in mind was considerable. GraceBlu delivered.

Grace Blu Designs, Inc. was hired by my husband and I on the recommendation of a friend of a friend and we have never been happier. Rona and her staff did so much of the leg work for our project that I didn't have time for and saved me a lot of stressful hours and days pouring over samples of products. Our project included 3 bathroom remodels, a complete gut of our kitchen, flooring throughout the entire house, a new fireplace surround with built-ins, revamping of our staircase and of course, painting. Grace Blu Designs helped us with all of our choices - lighting, tile, cabinetry, paint and the furnishings. In a very collaborative effort, with Rona and her team, I was able to get the newly remodelled house that I had envisioned. Grace Blu's staff was thorough, courteous, helpful and so friendly. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a young, professional staff who is on top of the latest design trends yet can design for anyone's taste.
