Robert Grayson and Andrew Harris are an absolute joy to work with. I have loved every minute of working with them. Professional, attentive, responsive and patient. They do what they say they will do and never disappoint. Talented and creative, these two designers are indeed the unsung heroes of interior design in Atlanta. I love everything they have done for me and I hope to have the pleasure of counting on them to help me with all of my design needs now and in the future.

I can not express how much I LIVE for GraysonHarris. Our relationship began shortly after we broke ground on our new home construction and has been in an endless honeymoon stage ever since. They were able to streamline our ideas and taste and make an endless battery of decisions simple and often even fun. We hired them to do our interior plan after being overwhelmingly pleased with the building selections. Robert and Andrew pulled so many unique pieces to make our home so cohesive and gorgeous (and in budget!!) There has yet to be a guest in our home that hasn't complimented their work.

My husband and I recently purchased an older home knowing that we would need to completely remodel the master suite and make some minor changes throughout the house. We contacted Grayson Harris Design and Interiors to create a design, and we were so thrilled we did. Our master bath is amazing thanks to their vision. Their knowledge and experience were invaluable in helping us with this project. We would have been overwhelmed without them. Robert and Andrew were wonderful to work with. They have incredible taste and we completely trusted their opinions. We truly enjoyed working with them.

My business is located in my place of residence and the type of work I do is steeped heavily in mythology, symbology and historical memories. The GraysonHarris team has been able to synthesize these into the perfect live/work environment for me. Every client that arrives comments on the interiors. They love the use of vintage furniture, bright colors, art, sculpture and lighting to create an environment that is comfortable, interesting and reflects me and my work. Grayson Harris designed and oversaw the building of my garage. I live in a historic district, so charm and historical appropriateness is crucial. From the very beginning, they were able to pick up and understand exactly what I wanted and how I was going to use the space. They made sure the tricky spacing would accommodate our vehicles, allowing for a potting area and deal with my drainage issues. Robert and Andrew did "do diligence" by researching com parables and building a solid case to present before the Historic Commission of DeKalb County Georgia. Their design passed without any change requests from the Commission. They worked with my builder, making sure my wishes were followed out to a "T". They maintained a high level of quality and professionalism throughout the entire project. The end result is a charming AND functional building. It was a small but promising space in the best block of Decatur but we did not know where to start. Instead of immediately pitching us ideas, Robert and Andrew surveyed our space, opened their notebooks, and asked a hundred questions. Do we walk or drive to work? Do we watch TV? Do we host dinner parties? Recycle? Listen to music? Like to cook? Ride bikes? Do yoga? Travel? In short, how do we live? And how do we want to? From the swirling soup of this interview bubbled up a plan…solutions unique to us. For instance: -A custom-made banquet/sofa with hidden drawers for storing dining room linens and long enough to accommodate our teenage son’s occasional sleep-over buddies. - The miraculous conversion of a once-wasted wall into a marvel of built-ins: pantry; cookware storage; recycling area; wine and bar nook; filing cabinets; printer and office supplies storage; illuminated glass breakfront; book and display shelves; and even a tucked-away 38-inch flat screen TV! -An elegant but petite baby grand electric piano that looks like it’s always been there. -Tasteful framings of my late father’s portrait and his collection of letters. Clever placement of art that had been in storage for years. - A dining room table richly crafted from reclaimed sailing ship timbers. - Bold but welcoming colors, fabrics that silence near-by traffic and darken sleeping spaces, and a kitchen that makes “cooking in” a pleasure. -Solid advice on what to keep, what to reframe or repurpose and what to pitch. -Efforts to find items on sale on the web, in Home Depot and on ScoutMob...anywhere they could find a deal for us. -Being present to make sure that all installations went smoothly and were completed as promised. Amazing attention to detail. Very fun to work with. Our 900-square-foot condo has so many stylish touches, modern conveniences, and dual-use furnishings that we often are the envy of couples visiting from rambling suburban McMansions. We credit Robert and Andrew with inventing for us a space that reflects not just their obvious training, but also our pace and preferences. I Thought I knew good design until I hired Andrew and Robert to design rooms in my home. They took my place from nice to gorgeous! I get compliments ALL the time. They were able to listen to my needs but I was also open to new ideas and I am so glad that I was. It just took my place to another level but still making it comfortable and functional. Crazy talented, professional, honest, nice, reliable and very knowledgeable is what you will get when you hire the GraysonHarris Team. Now I need to get my master bedroom done, stand-by, I will post those pictures when all pretty!
