Guided Home Design

We ordered nightstands from Style Me by Guided Home Design and although we’ve not yet received them (or a ship date, even though they’re in stock), I have to say I’m incredibly disappointed by the process so far. I ordered the nightstands 2 weeks ago. I’ve been unable to get a ship date and was told that it could take up to 3 weeks just to get a date. This does not make sense to me for an item in stock but customer service could not explain the excessive lead time. It’s also near impossible to reach anyone. They do not have a phone number; I sent an email and to date no one has replied. The only way I can get a response is via text - which sometimes takes a day or two (sometimes sooner). I can only hope the quality of their products and outrageous delivery fee ends up being worth it. Because their business processes and customer service model are abysmal, even for today’s world. In fairness we have not worked with this company on a project so I can’t speak to that but I definitely would not recommend ordering furniture or home goods from them.

This is the worst company to deal with as well as the supposed insurance company Route they use to safely deliver and insure your product. We ordered 4 barstools which were over a month late and upon delivery 2 were damaged. Contacted this company and was told to put a claim in with their insurance company Route which we did. The claim was automatically denied. Contacted StyleME and was told nothing they could do that its all on Route to rectify. The shipper did not damage the merchandise it was poor quality of build in which the legs were cracked at the joints and material fraying. Do not use this company whatsoever unless you want low quality products at a premium price.

Wow! As a mother of 3, I had no idea where to begin with finding durable, but beautiful furniture that still fit the aesthetic of my modern transitional home. GHD and StyleMeGHD not only brought my vision to life but I now also have gorgeous furniture that can withstand 3 young kids. Love their design team and already thinking about my next project!

I have collaborated with Kristen over the past 10 years on design projects for my home. Her approach is gentle and guided. She has found creative solutions in repurposing art and existing furniture into spaces I could not see fit. She has a great eye and capitalizes on using furnishings that match form and function. Most recently she interpreted my outdoor inspiration into durable goods that will last for years while giving me the look I desired. Her team has been timely in ordering samples and communicating with me. I will continue to work with her for years to come!

There are so many reasons why I would not use GHD that I simply don't have room to write them all. I had really looked forward to using their services given the website and social media only to be charged excessive amounts for horrible, not well thought out designs, and then be charged for every visit, phone call, email, everything. They did not communicate with the contractor, they did not update me on the orders or status, and they provided home designs that were not even close to what we talked about during our initial visits and then charged me to adjust each design. Needless to say, over 7K later, I ended up selecting my own designs and walked away with a couch (which also didn't fit my needs), a picture, and a couple light fixtures. BEYOND disappointing with horrible customer service.

Would give zero stars if I could! This was by far the worst purchase experience of my life. I ordered furniture (two barstools) from styleme GHD in June and was never notified of multiple shipping delays nor was I offered the chance to cancel for a refund after multiple attempts and requests for a refund. Federal law requires companies to notify purchasers of shipping delays AND offer full refund if the customer does not want to continue to wait. Styleme GHD clearly doesn’t care about following the law or ensuring satisfaction of their customers. I have reached out to the CEO with no response and only about half of my emails get responded to from Yiana. I ordered this furniture in June, paid in full, and it is now October and I still have not received it and have asked multiple times for a refund with styleme continuing to refuse to do so. A truly horrible experience all around.

the StyleMeGHD team is AMAZING! their customer service is second to none. It is so refreshing to work with someone in this industry who is client centered and not profit centered. Aside from having incredible style, Savannah and her team really care to make sure the client is 100% satisfied. We had an issue with one of our orders and she was able to quickly resolve it for us with no problems. Im very very happy with the way they treated me and will most definitely work with them again!

Wow! Absolutely amazing job turning my house into a modern desert oasis/farmhouse home. Extremely detail-oriented, easy to work with, & quick to deliver are 3 words that come to mind. They nailed what I wanted out of the gate, had fantastic options that I either loved or they found something I did. The move-in was absolutely breathtaking, just seeing what they did with the space. I can't begin to recommend them enough! 3 months later and I'm still in love with my home and love spending time outside and getting home every day!

Karen and Kristen are exceptional to work with. They guided me through a huge remodeling project when I was out of town, as well as in town. Such a wonderful team of designers, who have an exceptional talent and a good eye for design. We were in good hands both through the remodeling project and the decorating project(s). In fact they are in charge of yet another remodeling / decorating project for us.

We asked Karen and her colleague Kristen of Guided Home Design to design and remodel our kitchen. They are a delight to work with. They listened carefully to us and worked within our budget and design sensibility. Karen is very easy to deal with, full of energy and brimming with good ideas. Her subcontractors did excellent work and she made sure to stage them efficiently -- the kitchen was done in record time. I thank my dear friend all of the time for being my “decorating fairy” by granting my wish to find the right decorator to transform our home, someone that we could trust to be there through our busy work and travel schedules, someone who would not take advantage of us with pricing or with choices that were not “us.” Words cannot express the talented, warm, friendly, gracious, classy team of Guided Home Design - Karen and Kristin. These lovely ladies walked into our house – and our lives – and have transformed our “house” into a warm and beautiful HOME. There was so much that we wanted to do but didn’t have the “vision” or time to oversee. Karen and Kristin are incredibly well-connected to local sources to perform any remodeling or changes, and they have managed both small and large changes for us. We had consulted with not one, but two other design and professionals on remodeling our master bathroom and had been told that it was NOT possible without completely tearing out the existing structure for an extremely high cost. Enter Karen and Kristin and their crew of fairly-priced and very talented cabinet experts, and our bathroom is completely even more beautiful than we ever could have envisioned! Karen and Kristin designed a new façade for our cabinets that is gorgeous (and gently guided us to consider a lighter wood color that was far better than what we thought we wanted), changed the fixtures, added lighting, and transformed a blah master bath into a masterpiece bath! Every room in our house has been enhanced by their touches, and the only thing that is better than their talent and vision is that they are so incredibly lovely to work with. Any issues that we have faced have been easily remedied, and they truly put our satisfaction above and beyond all. I have so much respect for their talent, their connections to so many sources, their ability to execute a vision – always with a smile and with laughter and with our satisfaction being their goal. They have showed me places that I would have never discovered otherwise and I just love them and love “working” with them – it is so exciting to show my family and friends all of the beautiful changes that they have made to our house. From accessories to remodeling - they are the BEST.

Karen and Kristen from Guided Home Design Saved Me!! I was throwing a big dinner party at my home last year for a large group of peers who were taking an advanced medical course from my husband. I wanted our home to look and feel welcoming and look beautiful yet we had many rooms that were not "pulled together"or "completed" due to our differing decorating tastes :-))! We had been paralyzed to do any decorating. So a friend of mine recommended us to Karen at Guided Home Design. Karen and Kristen came by and surveyed the situation. And the tricky challenge was I wanted to get a "look" going throughout the home ( inside and out) and the party was only a 5 days away...I needed help and I needed it FAST!! At that point we had been in our beautiful home for almost 2 years...but it was so very Hodgepodge!! They transformed our home ...room to room....in 5days and we had such a great time working together. They worked with our (me /my husbands) two very different decorating styles and pulled it all together!! They worked well with our budget and made it such an enjoyable experience. They listen, they care, and they work fast when that is needed! Looking forward to bringing them back in this year to do the last round of pulling everything together...at a slower pace this time! Guided Home Design did an outstanding job on the brand new fire pit at my desert home. They took care of the entire process from the permits all the way to the stone choice and gas line installation. We are very happy with the result and recommend them and would use them again.

She designs to the client's tastes & budget. On a project, karen, has the foresight to meet deadlines by ordering in advance so that the project comes in as scheduled. Karen Ippolito of Guided Home Design is a fabulous designer. Karen and Kristen took our (newly purchased) 25 year old home and complete transformed it to what appears to be a brand new home. I've worked with a lot of Designer's in the last 25 years and Karen and Kristin are by far the best I have ever had the privilege to work with. They listen to your needs and pick up very fast what your needs are almost before you know yourself. They do what they say they are going to do without fail. They are also very fun to work with. Guided Home managed our complete home remodel, listened and achieved the mediterannian style we wanted with a clean look. They hired subcontractors who were excellent and reasonable and followed through with every detail. They were on the job when they said and provided me complete details of what to expect. I enjoyed working with them so much that we have remained in contact as friends. They designed a pergola system with wrought iron arches on my back patio that is gorgeous. The interior flooring of Italian tile and wood along with the columns and stone work all meld beautifully and they had the vision to suggest these combinations. I have recommended them to many of my friends and they are happy too. My home is lovely, functional and exactly what I hoped for.
