My wife and I love our front room and hallway. We wanted a modern, comfortable space that was respectful of the history of our home. Most importantly, we wanted to utilize some family pieces in the room. From the window treatments to the wallpaper and the carpet, each element was more beautiful than the next. Our spaces are comfortable and classic while incorporating elements from our families that compliment the new pieces

For over 20 years I have worked with Dena on various design projects in my home. This past year, after selling my single family home, she refreshed my living room and completely redesigned my bedroom in my new rental unit. She has a great sense of color and style, which I liked. Dena is a delight! She has a great eye for color, her designs are classic yet updated. She worked with us on the renovation of our kitchen and breakfast room, the transformation was stunning. She also worked with us to make a small bedroom into a comfortable and cozy den. She was receptive and willing to work collaboratively, staying within our budget and delivering a lovely quality finished product.

Dena helped my find a backsplash for my kitchen project. It was wonderful working with her -- she helped me narrow down my options very quickly and choose several options -- all of which would work out well. Dean was wonderful for my dining and living room. She has exquisite taste, found custom pieces I never would have found on my own and added every extra little touch. The color scheme she picked to design my rooms was gorgeous and she was able to save us some money on some of the bigger ticket items so we could splurge on some more fun pieces. She was extremely flexible, attentive to detail and reachable throughout the entire process. I would definitely work with her again!

We bought a 3 story home in Boston and had 9 months before we moved in. The house was empty and we had no furniture. We hired Dena to design our home's interior. We have worked closely with her for about a year now, and she has been a joy to work with. She has amazing connections with local artisans and furniture makers. She has a wonderful eye for furniture and fitting rooms together. It was also important to us that the project be done on a budget, and Dena was able to find some very inexpensive things that looked beautiful while also helping us prioritize the most important pieces to spend more on. In addition, we are believers in continuous improvement and so like to revise and reconsider every decision. Dena was flexible and never got annoyed and was even enthusiastic when we moved pieces around, experimented with new ideas, or asked her to go in a different direction. The final project is a masterpiece. I highly recommend Dena's excellent work. In addition, she's a warm and kind person who would even show up at our house with homemade soup for my wife and I!

When we moved from our traditional colonial home in the suburbs to our more contemporary condo in Boston, we knew we needed expert help- Dena was just that person! She created a beautiful oasis in the city, and was even able to refurbish some of our furniture to work in our new home! We couldn't be more pleased with her work!

Dena is the best!! She decorated the entire first floor of my house and I am ecstatic with the results. The colors, fabrics, layout and design of everything is so beautiful I feel like it can't actually be my house! Dena is so warm and professional. Dena was incredibly easy to work with. She is a great listener, thoughtful and very respectful of a clients ideas. She guides you expertly to see concepts for how to transform a space. She was really supportive of getting things done ASAP - unlike many, and found ways to get things executed as quickly as possible. She created a redo of a central room in our house - beautifully tying the flow altogether which can be a challenge when you are updating only part of the whole. Her subs are caring and thoughtful and unbelievable professionals. She is incredibly attentive to budgets and looks to reutilize what you have by repurposing into new ideas with wonderful results where appropriate. She has beautifully transformed a central room in our house that we love going into and using now. When my husband used the word "beautiful" to describe the result you know she hit a home run!

Our 30 year old Colonial was unchanged with time, with a dark, traditional layout that didn't fit our lifestyle which often includes entertaining with family and friends. We had fallen in love with the brick fireplace that was at the end of eat-in kitchen space with its walkout deck, but it desperately needed to be updated. Enter Dena. She expertly intuited what we wanted with us only able to tell her what we didn't want. And the outcome was perfect: a sunny and spacious open kitchen with almost triple the storage and smart functional accommodations throughout. Dena transformed the brick by drywalling over it, adding a black granite fireplace hearth with custom hand-glazed tile fireplace surround and custom mantle that gave us the focal statement wall the room needed. Her choice of custom glazed maple cabinets, Brazilian cherry floor, granite counters, hand-glazed tile backsplash, under cabinet lighting and recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, and decorative glazing on the walls gave us a welcoming, open space that was charming and modern. A year later she reimagined our upstairs bathroom with a smart new layout. Her choices of tiling, wallpaper, fixtures and lighting gave us a livable room that was a respite from a busy professional life. We were very pleased with the experience, the outcome and the value she brought to our home in a very competitive real estate market!

Dena was amazing to work with. She has a great sense of space and color, a terrific listener and very adaptable to changes. Dena decorated our newly built summer house and everyone that walks in our home is wowed by its design and color. It's welcoming and so comfortable to live and entertain in.
